I had always known the Polk brand for quality in speakers and surround sound so figured these would do a good job in the gaming realm. I bought them on a whim with my Halo 5 purchase to give them a go with the countless hours I knew I was going to be playing. These things are the best bang for your buck in terms of headsets. The build of the headset screams quality, not cheap and plastickly like some of the others I've used. Comfort is top notch with the supple leather ear cups and multiple positions to fit just right. After 20 hours or so of use I found they provide immersive and rich sound. The headset has good balance with not too much bass, but still provides a robustness that puts you in the action. Chat quality is also superb and I really like I can remove the mic to just use the headset for audio on the fly. One of the main reasons these drew me in were the fact that they are universal to ALL consoles (and supply accompanying cables) and PC. I've used them on my PS4 as well with equal results. These are the best headphones under $150 I've ever used, they even equal some of the more expensive ones I've used (Astro A40s). If you don't want to break the bank with high price headsets or risk it with some of the cheaper options out there these are for you.

I purchased this for online gaming. The connection of the headset to an Xbox controller is not all there. There's a lot of static that makes this pretty much unusable unless you can tolerate it. You don't spend this kinda cash though to "tolerate" a bad connection. Maybe I just got a bunk one, so read reviews online and see what other opinions are out there. As for mine... Not so good.

These things sound great. Easy to use. Enough cables to hook up xbox, pc or phone separately.

Found this on clearance and couldn't believe the savings! Easiest set up and one of the best sounding headsets I have used and it includes all the accessories needed.

These are nice headphones and a really high quality built set, but are just too quiet. I have the Sony Playstation wireless headphones for my PS4 and they work great because they are powered by their own battery. These headphones use the X-Box battery and thus these headphones just can't get loud enough to mimic and sort of surround sound.

I had a pair of tritan komos before these and they were very uncomfortable. This headset is one of the most comfortable sets I've owned. Very good product.

Headset is convenient, not having a tether wire. However, with chat enabled any plug movement causes static pops. I don't use the chat function much so I have just muted it and the noise doesn't happen.

the price is a great price. these sound as good as any turtle beach headphones that i have had. And i have had 3 different models.

This headset is my go to for gaming, chatting with friends in game or on skype, and for just listening to music around the house.

The headset is a great sound quality. Only issue I have is the cables are a little bit messed up right out the box. You have to move them in a spot for theme to play out both sides

When I first started using the headphones I was very happy with the performance. The sound quality was great. The headset was light and comfortable. The mic picked up chat quite well. Music even sounded great. Then I started getting a terrible static noise when ever there was slight movement. It was loud and everyone in game or private chat could hear it. The issue would go away only to show a few days later. I was lucky enough to be under the warranty and Best Buy made a smooth and easy exchange for another product.
