Because this was a polk headset i thought it might be really good. That was not the case the sound was very flat didn't have any bass or highs and in game sounds fell short of what i had hoped for the price. Just going to stick with turtle beaches same headset for the last 5 years

I decided to give these headsets a try based off of positive reviews, and I was disappointed with the quality of the headset. The trickiest part of headset buying for me is trying to find a pair that will not put pressure on my glasses, and that is able to fit comfortably on or over my ear. These headsets are an on ear fit, and put most of the pressure on the top of my ear, which puts a huge amount of pressure on my glasses, I could get over that though. Upon turning on my Xbox, sound only came from the right speaker, and the only way for me to resolve it was to unplug and plug the headset in an additional four times. Finally!, sound was coming from both speakers, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth the trouble. The sound was very flat, which is hard to play games with, I need balanced, rich sound, in order to tell where enemies are, or when I need to shift gears. These strive in the high range, but suffer in the mid-to-low range. Just to make sure it wasn't my Xbox or game that was off, I plugged these into my iPhone and played a couple of songs, and they also sounded flat. I would not recommend these to anyone looking for proper sound. What I will recommend is the Turtle Beach XO Four ($99 but always on sale it seems) as they are much cheaper and offer better, balanced sound.

It's a decent headset for what I payed, but all 3 cable it came with have to be bent a certain way where they plug into the headset.(after they couldn't be returned or exchanged)

Was not a fan of this headset. The person at BB stated it was wireless, well it is not wireless for chat. I hate wires so I took it back and got the Afterglow's that have true wireless chat.
