Nothing to complain about. Headset comes with cords for your phone, computer, and gaming system. This makes it easy to use outside of strictly gaming purposes.

It is too heavy and not at all comfortable. Audio quality is mediocre. I got this only because of removable cable but because of comfort issues I returned it and got Kingston hyperX cloud 2. HyperX was superb. 1. HyperX Cloud 2 (A+ audio, B+ comfort, B+ customization - detachable cable) 2. Polk (B+ audio, C+ comfort, A+ customization) 3. Astro (C+ audio, C+ comfort, B+ customization)

Polk has to be one of the best audio devices. I use this headset for gaming all the time and it cancels out any other noise. The extra cables and adaptors are a plus for any other device you want to use them on.

Returned due to the mic static and small ear cups.

I love these headphones. I bought them so I wouldn't wake my family up at 3am playing games. But there also great for talking online, and the have a 3.5mm jack, so there good to listen to music as well. I bought them at $90, well worth it.

Great for making single cup of coffee. Love the filter that allows me to make normal cup of joe

Mute does not work, MIC is odd and in the way. Check out Steel series for the same price.

They are ok but have issues of cutting out while playing. You have to play with the plug to get it to work again sometimes.

I ended up buying several pair and took them home and made a decision. What I tried: Astro A40 Halo edition with Mixamp 80 Steelseries V3 Polk Striker Pro Turtle Beach XO Seven Pro I decided on the Polk because of build quality. Friends said mic was crystal clear and my voice sounded like me, music tested and the polk just blew them all away, very clean and clear and not to much bass. Seemed that the Polk just had more background detail sounds on Destiny and grenades on Call Duty were nice and punchy and tight sound. Footsteps seemed more pronounced as well. Sound separation was very good, you can tell if something is in front, left, right and behind you. The Astro A40 were very close just lacked the detail and comfort that the Polks offer. This is my opinion to my ears and yours may be different. The fit on the Polks just seemed to fit like and old pair of jeans and the sound was like a high end home system. Best of luck.

Tons of static noise right out of the box. I really need to exchange it.

The build quality of this headset seems to be of better quality than the Turtle Beaches I own. The audio quality is decent for what you pay. I did notice when I first connected the headset that if you adjusted the male connector that plugs into the adapter that it created a little static but went away when finished adjusting. I have own two pair of Tritton's, a pair of turtle beaches, and now a pair of Polk's. Unless you are an audiophile this is a decent headset for the price. My only complaint is that the headset draws power from the controller which reduces the battery life. I use rechargeable batteries but that is the only reason for the four star and not five.
