I purchased these headphones about 3 months ago. They are still working just as well as when first purchased. Sound is good but not amazing. I do enjoy the full sound and I find it to sufice for hearing the sides and behind especially in FPS. Bass feels and sounds full wih little to no distortion. great mid-range sound and not a very saturated treble. Good overall sound and well balanced. Also, I have used these with other items, not just my XB1. I actually even use these with my phone while I play a computer game with a friend. I have noticed that they mic is supposed to be somewhat flexible but no matter how much I try, I can't get it to the exact spot I want. It always goes back to the original start position, after a few minutes. Seems like the flexible mic arm is to stiff. That aside, I do think the mic functions properly and picks up my voice very well. When I game, people tell me the sound is crisp and clear. Occassionally they do complain about background noise. Unfortunately, it seems that the mic is very sensitive and doesn't filter the background noise very well, Overall, these are an acceptable quality headphone built with durability in mind. Hopefully they last for the durtion of my XB1.

    Great FPS Headset

You can hear everything on this headset. Footsteps around corner, grenades and fire from right or left, and can adjust chat and game sound to find your perfect balance. You can also press a button to have the headset hear your voice and let you know how loud you're talking and not have to scream to wonder if anyone can hear you. Super comfortable and solid and sturdy as well. Great headset

Purchased these for my teenage son for Christmas & he loves them! He says the mic works great and he can hear sounds in his games that he never even knew were there before. I would highly recommend getting these if you are looking for a great headset at a reasonable price.

This headset is awesome. Very comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions. You can hear everything! It has a good selectable switch which balances the game or chat and a master volume. The mic is well place and its very durable/flexible. It's not in your mouth and ppl tell me they can hear me well. At times I have to disconnect and reconnect it because the mute button won't work. I gave it 4/5 because of the connector glitching sometimes.

This is a very nice headset,Excellent sound quality. The high's are crisp and clean,The mids are smooth and the bass is powerful but not over powered Also their built very good, rugged.Unlike the last ten pair of turtle beach's that would last less then a year because of the cheap plastic parts would brake.

Bought this headset in store and front of box actually says wireless with adapter included which is not the case. Still has wire from heaset to adapter and if you already have the adapter or a new revision os controler you will not need it at all. Headset is so so in comfort, light but didnt really fit over me ears properly with the square cups. Volume was horrible either I couldnt hear who I was chatting with or the game had to go one extreme or the other on the mixer. Mic volume was low unless turn all the way up then had people complaining they could hear everything going on in my house. Sound quality was terrible as well have better sound out on my $15 skull candy ear buds.

I purchased this headset less than 2 hours ago and i hate them. The sound while gaming is Ok but there is to much static and other strange sounds that comes from this headset. The only thing that sucks is that I stood in line for 45 min. to purchase them waste of time!!

This is the worst xbox one headset I could have purchased. I wanted something a little higher end than Turtle Beach but wouldn't spring for the Astros my son wanted. Big mistake. From the day they came out of the box these were awful. There is either a short in the cord that connects to the xbox one controller or the little device doesn't work. It results in the headset giving nasty static or feedback EVERY SINGLE TIME the kid moves an inch. I will attempt to return these but it's been almost 2 months. I thought my son had given up on xbox in lieu of playing basketball but apparently he was afraid to tell me his Christmas present was so awful.

    Overpriced for what you get

This headset looks cool and feels comfortable for about an hour, after that it starts to make your ears sore. The audio quality is average, not awful but far from the best. These have very little bass and loud highs are painful on the ears. Additionally, no audio controls make it difficult to adjust the sound mid-game. There's many better options out there, especially for the price.

Worked ok. Has issues with screeching in ear while playing. Not much bass or treble; at least not for this price range. Returned it and decided to go with regular headphones.
