An excellent addition for the more action-packed and intense games. I'm accustomed to the style and layout of the xb360 controllers, but even the slight positional change of the action buttons and analog stick on the right are easy to get adjusted to. I can't complain about the battery life, as the item description points out, it's great. But, of course, if you play games constantly and for really long periods of time, no battery life is enough. The controller is very light, as compared to the xb360 controller, which is good. Motion-type sensors would've been great, but the games I've played (i.e., Mario Kart 8) use a combo of the ZL/ZR triggers and/or shoulder buttons to simulate the motion actions. Overall, I really like the pro controller and I hope more support for VC games will come soon.

This really is super comfortable to hold. When I put it down and pick up a PS4 controller, the PS4 feels a little clunky and heavy. (And I love the PS4 controller.) I prefer this to the Game pad. I think it makes the Wii U more fun to play, and games feel more natural if you're used to the more traditional controllers. It doesn't fully replace the Game Pad, as there are some menus and apps that don't respond or don't respond well to the Pro Controller, and it can't be used for Wii games at all. It works for most of the Wii U games and Virtual Console games though. Sometimes the Pro Controller and Game Pad can be used together, which is kind of cool. I would buy the Pro Controller again.

I needed this controller in order to play a game. It's great quality and haven't had any problems with it. Battery life is amazing with it. Really comfortable holding it in my hands.

The controller is completely cordless other than a charging cable. The battery lasts forever it seems and it works with all games except the downloadable throwback ones for wii

Got my daughter a WiiU for Christmas and trying to race MarioCart with the wheel was a PAIN. This controller makes playing a lot more fun and no batteries to contend with.

Great controller for everyone! Not too small or too big. Comfortable to hold. Excellent battery! Have used it regularly for two months and still on first charge!

The built-in rechargeable batteries in these controllers last forever! The are very light, and come in handy when you want to play a long Smash Brothers tournament!

Great feel and very comfortable---wireless works perfectly and pairs very fast. The charge lasts a long time as well. My only gripe is that it feels extremely light---not like its fragile or cheap, just feels lightweight in a way that my xbox one remote doesn't. Very good overall however.

Works great. You do not need batteries and it stays charged for a while. Kids love it for Mario Cart as it is easier to use than the traditional WII remote

This is a great controller. It is a great way to get the younger audience introduced to advanced controlling. Battery life seems good and functionality is great.

I really wanted a real controller for my Wii U, so I got the pro controller. The pro controller is a really great design, but it tends to lag within games.

It is great having 12 programable buttons in easy reach of your thumb. I haven't figured out how to get them to work with all of my games, I have about 300, but for the ones I have it makes them easier. I also love the color lighting so you can see what profiles it is in. The lighting is limited to 3 different profiles but that gives you MMO, FPS and strategy games for examples. It also has a good feel for bigger hands. Weighted a little on the heavy side. You can also set the sensitivity aka DPI for differnt game profiles along with setting the X and Y axis separately.

This controller is perfect for the Wii U. It has amazing battery life, it is very light and is %1000 times better than that massive game pad that comes with the system. The only slight issue I have is the analog sticks not being as precise as a Xbox or Sony controller.

This game controller is just like the console game controls and is very easy to use. It feels well made and I don't foresee any problems with it.

I bought this because I wanted something that wasn't as big as the touch screen controller. This is perfect. It's similar to a Xbox controller.

It looks and feels like an Xbox controller which I love . The battery life is insane on these and couldn't see playing super smash without one.

This controller is light and very responsive. It holds a charge for a long time and is quick to charge to full in a very short time.
