these things fit perfect in your hand unlike the giant wii u controler with the screen and the completely pointless candy bar shaped controllers. these feel almost exactly like an xbox 360/one controller but a touch smaller and lighter fantastic battery life in the controller as well

This is the controller that I am most used to, so I had to buy it. I won't really comment on the price because the price is what it is. I will comment on the excellent battery life. I have been playing with this controller on a daily basis and haven't had to charge the controller yet.

Super lightweight and feels great in the hands, the buttons are butter smooth and the battery is fair. Even comes with a very nice +6ft. usb cable that definitely is quality. Sometimes I have connection issues that really ruin it for a 5 star rating but I have a ton of wireless stuff in my house so I'm not sure if I'm the problem or the controller. Though, I doubt its me. Either way, its my favorite of all diff controllers and a must have for my enjoyment.

Some of you may be attached to the gamecube controller like I was, and I still am, but I simply love the pro controller. It's super comfortable, easy to grip and play with. It's amazing 80 battery life is most impressive.

The Pro Controller for the Wii U has proved to be my go-to controller for playing games that don't require the Gamepad. I love using it for Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, and Super Smash Bros. The controller itself feels sturdy enough and the battery life has been excellent thus far!

I bought one of these hoping to get away from always using my game pad or even worse a Wiimote and nunchuck. After making sure I had a full charge I synced this bad boy up, which was super easy because there's no cover over the sync button. Played New Super Mario, Mario 3D World, and Mario Kart 8 all flawlessly! Next I busted out Earth Bound and Zelda: Link to the Past, again flawless! Played games with it most of the weekend trying to kill the batteries. After close to 8 hours of gameplay over 3 days and still had 2 bars on the battery life, went back to Best Buy and bought 2 more! I can not recommend these enough! They are amazing!

The pro controller is a great alternative to using the Wii U gamepad, which can be a little clunky at times for certain games. While I love using the gamepad, the pro controller feels really good when you are playing games where the Wii U gamepad isn't necessary for gameplay.

Light, good battery life, comfortable. I knew why I was buying it, and it works for what I bought it for.

The button layout is terrible but luckily you can customize what each button does in most games. If you can find a gamecube adapter go with that over this. But if you need more controllers this is not a bad option. It also holds a charge for weeks at a time with multiple hours of gameplay everday.

If you're tired of the Gamepad's low battery life, the Pro Controller is perfect - same button configuration without the screen. Much better battery life. Not quite as ergonomic as a PS4 or Xbox One controller, but a goo buy nonetheless if you play the Wii U regularly.

This is the first OEM Nintendo controller to be on-par with all other system console contrllers. Feels similar to compeditor controllers in fit, finish, and ergonomics. By far the most 'normal' controller Nentindo has released since the original NES. Well worth the price!

I bought this when I purchased smash brothers for the Wii U. I should have bought this earlier, since I prefer to use this controller over the old wii controllers for most of the games I play. Since we do a lot of local co-op in my house, it gets used quite often.

Looking for an alternative controller to the game pad on your Wii U? Well look no further! The Wii U pro controller feels great, works well, has excellent battery life (haven't even had to recharge since my September purchase), and great connectivity. 10/10

This is a far better controller option for me and i feel works best with most games than the gamepad the comes with the Wii u. The buttons being closer together make everything much easier. The battery life is also much better than the pad by a few hours.

This is a great controller for Mario Kart and other games where the big gamepad seems a bit awkward to play with. Keep in mind that this doesn't work for every single game, you must check the compatibility on the back of the game case to see if it is supported.

High quality controller as you'd expect from original Nintendo product. We got this for Minecraft and my boys are loving this for multi player. If you have a Wii you owe it to yourself to get a proper pad other than the usual wiimote and nunchuks.

Not too much to say. It functions as promised. Is extremely light (good for those longer sessions). The only really complaint is Nintendo switching the confirm button position from that used by Sony and Microsoft but that's really more of a design issue.

I love the Nintendo Wii U, but I have struggled to find a controller that works as well as the Gamepad that comes with the console. Search no more! This controller works very well -- I have used it to play Super Smash Bros and Splatoon with no issues.

I have big hands and was accustomed to XBox 360 controllers before using this, and it took me no time to get used to. The ZL and ZR triggers aren't as springy and don't give as much as I'd like, but that's just personal preference. Great controller

While the gamepad that comes with the Wii U is nice, if you want to have some local multiplayer fun, get this controller. While some games may let you use the wii remote instead, this gives you a quality experience on par with Xbox and PS controllers.
