Received on Dec 6th. The runner mat was not centered but we worked it out. The left arm didn’t fit snug and left a sharp space that you could catch your clothes on. Proform sent out another arm. Excellent customer service. Woot it for my husband who needs cardiac rehab. Works well along with our Proform recumbent bike. It’s a bit noisy. May I suggest putting a pair of knee socks over both arms. Otherwise it’s a bit scratchy or plasticy feeling. If they had a padded neoprene sleeve that would be better yet. You won’t be disappointed. I had a higher end model years ago and it was better made and easier to fold but this works just fine.

This threadmill is great, we got it last year, because most of the gyms around here were closed, and we wanted to workout during the winter, we did some research and we couldn't find almost any review about this particular threadmill, but we went for it anyways and so far we don't have any regrets; this equipment paired with iFit is the best combination ever, you can run thru Central park today and tomorrow take a run thru the Christmas markets of Germany.
I can assure you once you use it you'll be simply coming for more every day!
I was able to assembly 75% by myself and need it assistance from my wife to install the control board, it took about 2.5hrs to assembly.
The only complaint I might have about it, is that sometimes when it's changing elevantions it makes a cranking noise (louder than usual), but if you're concentrated in your workout and the music and the trainer are loud enough, you won't even notice it, which is the reason why I'm still giving it 5 stars! Great job proform, keep up with this great equipments. It's really easy to move around and adjust. Really compact and very esthetic to the view. I highly recommend this equipment!

I love it so far, I use it everyday as a supplement to my other workouts before I hit the gym. I built it myself and honestly it wasn’t too bad since it had clear instructions. The only issue I’ve been having is with the touchscreen saying low battery and I can’t seem to figure that out

After using the treadmill for about a month at the time of writing this review, we like it fine. Runs well but perhaps a touch noisier than I would have expected. Comes with a 1 year free iFit subscription - we like how the machine adjusts well to the changes to gradient/speed on those instructor led workouts. However, do note that it does need to be connected to high speed internet throughout those iFit workouts - the system is not capable of extended buffering, so expect video to hang if you are dealing with a slower internet connection.
My biggest complaints would be the cheap, plasticky construction of some of the parts, and the extra long start-up time for the machine when you switch it on. Otherwise, a decent value for the price point.

Great Treadmill with One Annoyance

My last treadmill died this week and there is not a lot of choices in treadmills that are available. I've had a ProForm treadmill before and it was great so I decided to go with the ProForm Carbon T7.
So far, it is a great treadmill. I am mainly using manual workouts and it runs well and feels quality. I've enjoyed using it so far. It is louder than my last treadmill but it doesn't bother me.
It does have ifit and comes with one year free. I think for some people, they will think its great. It is pre-determined workouts while watching a trainer going somewhere and talking about various things. I did one where it was a trainer at the Dracula castle in Romania and it would change walk speeds and incline based on the tour while the trainer is giving a tour and history lesson. For example, he would walk up stairs in the castle so the incline increased. I might use this feature every now and then but I prefer my manual workouts. Some people might really like it. If you think you would use that feature a lot, you may want to look for a treadmill with a bigger screen. the 7" screen is fine but a little small for this.
I only have one complaint and that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The treadmill computer is slow. The manual says to flip the switch off when you are not using it to decrease wear. I timed how long it took from flipping the switch on to the point where I could do a run and it took 1 minute and 24 seconds. There are just random things that feel like they take longer than they need to. I don't know if it is because it is a slow processor, older or poorly optimized version of android (it is using android as its operating system), or something else. I know I will get use to it but it is a little annoying after using treadmills where you can use them as soon as you turn them on.
Even with the computer slowness, I still highly recommend this treadmill for its quality.

This is an awesome value treadmill. It has delivered in every way that I hoped it would at this price point. My only concern is that as times the mat stalls when I plant my foot. It is not a problem now but I am worried it could get worse over time. I saw some complaints about the slow start up to bypass the iFit membership. It really isn't a big deal. A minor annoyance. Just start it up 10 minutes before you think you'll be working out.

Excellent treadmill with this price. It was hard to find reviews for this particular model, and I just wanted to share my experience.
------------
Goods:
------------
1. Very sturdy and quiet treadmill at this price point.
2. 2.75 CHP Motor is good enough for the regular activity (hiking, jogging, low speed running, etc.) compared to 2.5 CHP Motor treadmills.
3. I am loving the free iFit membership. Lots of free guided exercises (hiking, running). You can also participate in live exercise challenges (e.g., Boston Marathon).
4. Yes, you can make your own running/jogging track using google maps. The machine can handle the automatic incline features according to the running track. Excellent.
5. 20” x 55” Tread Belt is good enough for regular exercises.
6. Dedicated incline (0-12%) and speed control button (0-12) works perfectly. Excellent.
7. I do like the ProShox™ cushioning.
8. I am happy with the delivery service. It's a heavy machine and you can expect the impact if it doesn't handle carefully. [Recently, I received a NordicTrack T Series Treadmill from Amazon, but they delivered with broken parts.]
--------
Bads:
--------
1. I didn't use professional assembly and everything was fairly simple. But, you will need two people during the assembly.
[I have just found one issue on the left and right arms. Some screws (2 for the left and 2 for the right arm) at the top part of both arms don't fit.]
2. It comes with a 7” Smart HD Touchscreen tablet, but the processor is not fast. So, whenever you turn on the machine it usually takes a couple of minutes to initialize the system. [It is not a big problem for me, and I am getting used to it.]
3. This machine doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity, so you will not be able to use your own tablet for the iFit. [Built in 7” Smart HD Touchscreen tablet would be good enough for the regular uses].
4. Yes, you can fold the machine, but you have to lock the position manually. It's a heavy machine and you may not want to fold this machine.
5. Arm length is short compared to any other treadmills.

At first I thought the treadmill didn’t work, but actually it just tripped my breaker. After figuring that out I haven’t had any more issues. The ifit is really awesome for those of us who don’t know when to pick up the pace. You will need two people to put it together, but it’s straight forward. Great machine at a great price.

Set up was not challenging and took around 1 hour. It helps to have two people put it together. The unit is great so far, we've enjoyed running and walking. the interactive models make using the treadmill make you feel more outside.

Absolutely meets all my expectations. Takes up a little more room folded than my old one and is heavier too. Still manageable. Rolls easily on tile but wheels are kinda small for rolling on carpet. Love the IFit that was included for a year. Can't get it out of demo mode though, so have to switch it off after each use. No big deal. Great performance. One person can assemble but easier with two.

This is a great mid-level treadmill. We use it for fast walking with steeper inclines. It lost a star because getting the mat aligned was tricky. It comes with a free year of i-fit which is great, but we haven’t used it yet. We like to control our setting and to keep it simple. Great quality for the price!
