I purchased this item for my 17 year old son for Christmas (2015). As I looked more into this item, I became aware of the laws and restrictions and the possibility of fines that are associated with owning a drone. I returned this item because I wanted to take no chances. Other than that, I think its AWESOME!!

This drone was purchased as a gift for my brother in law. It was easy to set up out of the box and functioned well, but I expected more for how much I paid.

I bought this drone for an 11 year old boy and thought that it would probably crash and burn on his first flight!!!! But it didn't!!!! This drone has held up remarkably well despite being flown by young boys!!!! And they have all loved it!!!! They have had so much fun with it and I am impressed with its durability!!! Great drone for the price!!!!! We are all very happy with it!!!!!

Purchased this for my 8 year old. Controls are a little too difficult for her to use. Would be great for teens and up.

This like many drones that I have tried is hard to fly, but I am sure that there are people who are good at it.

I purchased this drone to replace a Sky Viper. They are both about the same price but I found the Dronium's directional steering to be more precise. The 40, 70, and 99 percent speed settings are nice. There is a big difference between low and high speed in both control and blade speed. The blade guards are great protection as I have crashed into the ground, the ceiling, etc. without breaking anything. The removable 1GB SD card is nice if you transfer photos or video to another device. I have only used the mini USB cord to transfer so far. The battery charging vs. flight time seems a little low, (60min charge and 5-7 min flight) but the maker sells batteries for $9.50 on their website. The camera is OK, and the video is alright (640x480 resolution), however the camera seems to point straight out of the nose and is not adjustable. It is very difficult to fly outside in any amount of wind and very difficult to control when you (the pilot) are not pointed in the same direction that the drone is going. But those features come with price and this drone is around $100. So I really cant complain. Great for someone to learn, good value for price, sturdy, and has been fun to fly.

Awesome great starter drone and very fast. Blades are grrat

I got this for my husband to play with. It is ok but not very sturdy. The wind will take it from you.
