Replace every six months

At first I didn't think it made a big deal because our well water is filtered twice before it gets to the refrigerator. The water slows down going through the fridge when the filter approaches six months. That slows ice production too. A new filter every six months helps.

Genuine Frigidaire water filters

Able to find product and order..even with delays going on with ordering from many companies this product still came extremely fast! Easy to remove old one and install brand new filter. Haven’t had any issues! Plan on purchasing again when the time comes.

Easily installs in less than 5 min (Including flushing the filter with water). Must buy!

Overpriced but necessary

But I found out the hard way that buying the cheaper ones from online doesn't always pan out as they don't have the same tolerances and can leak. Oh well...
