Headset Overall: 5/5 Reason for 4/5: At its original price point I feel there are better value options. However, I love razer and have wanted these for AWHILE. In fact since they dropped. Background: I saw they were on sale and decided to scoop them up since I had some coupons due to the McDonald's event (Don't judge lol). But MAN was I not disappointed. Review: The overall fit feel and comfort was fantastic! Cord was fairly durable as well. Drivers sound fantastic when gaming and even for music. The mic quality is what definitely surprises me the most. The crisp, clear, noise reduced sound was refreshing to hear on a headset. I'm used to just being like "if it works it works" you know? My sister was sitting next me (a seat away on the couch) and despite trollin' me a bit it wouldn't pick her up really at all. All I'm all I can definitely recommend em, ESPECIALLY if you get the on sale with a few extra discounts! Happy holidays all.

I love this headphones. I’ve used them daily for almost a year in my remote work. Its been great for meetings and calls, it does not completely block external sound but just enough to not get distracted. Also the over-the-ear is perfect for me so its comfortable for when meeting go over the hour and the mic is also works great, it has flexibility so you can fix distance from mouth. For music purposes quality is great too. It should be perfect for gaming as well.

Excellent Headphones, worth the 60$ retail price, I was pleasantly surprised they were for sale for 40$. The Mic quality and audio quality are excellent. Unlike other gaming headphones, these completely envelope your ear so that the headphones are not resting on your ears but your head which makes them very comfortable, the 50mm drivers are amazing, I have never heard explosions like I have with these headphones, and by far the most comfortable. 3D and Surround audio are automatically applied to these headphones via Playstation and Xbox native 3D technology. I would have paid 100$ for these headphones

The sound quality on these headphones is just crazy for the price. Microphone quality is excellent too! We use them for gaming and have absolutely no issues. We've been using them daily for months, almost a year I think and there's been non degradation in sound quality or build quality! I'd recommend these if you like over-ear headphones and don't mind not being able to hear stuff around you. These guys do an excellent job of noise deafening.

got these for working remotely, the goal was to give myself a more portable option that an XLR condenser mic with a separate USB audio interface and a scissor arm. Something I could tote around with a laptop. The Razer Blackshark V2 delivers. The audio quality on the mic is acceptable with the caveat that I spent hours in the Razer Synapse program tweaking the settings and trying to find some combination of options that I could live with. Now, I think I still sound VERY tinny compared to my more professional dekstop audio setup, but for the price, mobility, and comfort I have found these are capable of producing acceptable microphone audio quality. The biggest problem I ran into is that the mic on the Blackshark V2 doesn't pick up lower tones as clearly as higher ones, and apparently my voice is on the low side. At least I had the option to tweak the settings because before getting the Blackshark V2 I had tried the Razer Kraken V3, and there is no fixing the audio that headset produces. Those were my second Razer product ever and my first Razer headset, I was shocked they put their name on something that shoddy. If Razer hadn't been having a sale that made their products an attractive price at the time I'd never have given their headsets the time of day ever again. The comfort on these is fairly good, nothing extraordinary to me but I usually take meetings and listen to music through audiophile quality headphones and I often put custom earpads on them, so my standards are very high. These certainly exceed what I would normally expect from comfort in a set of headphones at this pricepoint, but I find them to be less comfortable than your average Sennheiser headphones. The cups are a bit more shallow with the default cups and rest closer to my ear than I would like. Replacement pads are at the top of my shopping list for these, though I do like the breathable jersey material on the outside of them.

Very comfortable fit, soft around the ears, long cord. I prefer to use them without the surround sound when gaming, but if I’m watching videos or movies I’ll apply the surround sound. Not very pricey, comes packaged well.

Great plug and play headphones. Sound with base ect is great. Voice output is very good. I wanted a pair of headphones that was simple and avoided Bluetooth EMF. Sound control on side is easy to use. Lastly they feel good and I can’t hear much from the outside world. (PS5)

I’ve been using the Razer BlackShark V2 X for a couple of weeks now and I’m really happy with it. The sound quality is clear with good bass, and footsteps in games are super easy to pick up. The mic is solid too—my friends say I sound clean without background noise. It’s also really lightweight and comfortable, even during long sessions, which is a big plus. Works perfectly on both my PC and console without any setup hassle. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

Solid headset, especially for the price point. I wanted something that traded off some features for simplicity and reliability… and this absolutely crushed it. Still great sound quality, so it’s not a compromise there. The ear cups and headband foam are a little firm but still wearable for hours without issue. Packaging is top shelf and way overdone for paying $40 for this. Would recommend to anyone, and I’ve bought two more to gift to others.

So my old headphones I have had for over 3 years. It was time to change. Also due to the fact that I could only hear out of one and no one could hear me. So I did a lot of looking and kept returning to this one. Pink is girly but it looks so nice. They feel so freaking comfortable on my ears and the mic can be moved away or closer if need be. There's a mute option on the rear for convenience. Not only can everyone hear me but I hear very well and the microphone is wildly loud so you don't need it up all the way which is amazing.

I’ve been through the headset ringer—Logitech, SteelSeries, Turtle Beach—you name it. But the 2023 Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is honestly in a league of its own. If you’re playing competitive shooters where sound cues are life or death, this is basically a cheat code. Seriously, the mic is insane. My friends literally asked if I bought a standalone streaming mic. It’s crisp, deep, and doesn't have that "nasal" wireless sound. I can hear footsteps from a mile away. The spatial audio is so tuned that I’m pre-firing corners before people even peek. The "FPS Profiles" built into the headset are actually useful, not just a gimmick. I play like 5-6 hours a day and I feel like I only plug this thing in once every two weeks. The 70-hour battery life is the real deal. It's light. Like, "forgot I was wearing it" light. The memory foam doesn't make my ears sweat during a sweat-fest match. Look, I love this thing, but I'll be honest so you know what you’re getting, It feels a bit "delicate." Those thin wire sliders look sick, but I wouldn't go throwing these in a backpack without a case. Treat them like a premium tool, not a toy. You can’t listen to your phone and your PC at the same time. You have to toggle between them. It’s a minor annoyance, but worth noting if you like taking calls while gaming. But at the end of the day, you can pick these up for 30 bucks because it’s usually on sale.

I recently pickup the Razer - BlackShark V2 X Wired Gaming Headset and wow, it blew me away to be honest. I play Fortnite and COD a lot. The sound quality is insane… every footstep and explosion feels so immersive. I literally hear everything so close and clear which is great because I can adjust the levels however I want. The plush ear cushions make it super comfy for those long gaming sesh’s. Plus, the mic is crystal clear, my squad/party can hear me perfectly during intense matches. Overall, I’d give it a solid 1000000000000/10. Definitely a game-changer. Btw, if you look pink, get this headset! I’ve always used my sisters older razer gaming headset so that’s why I decided to go with this one

These are probably the best value headsets on the market for its price point. However don’t expect to get the same quality you get around that $100 price point +. The volume just simply is not loud enough at its max and I’m constantly thinking it isn’t plugged in all the way. For someone starting out or a child that might break em, these are perfect. For someone that is used to recording in a studio, you will be wanting a lot more from a headset. Durability is still TBD as I’ve had these only for a few weeks. Overall I do think it punches above its price point.

Great, easy to use headphones for PC. The headset is lightweight and seems pretty sturdy. These headphones use a splitter adapter for using on PC, and I assume you just unplug the splitter to plug into controllers for console. Not many controls are on the headphones themselves, only having a volume know and a mute button, but that is good enough for me for the asking price.

I like these headphones, they sound great, they’re comfortable, and they look good enough. I do wish the built in mic was detachable but you can take the cover off and tuck it under the wire to keep it out of the way. I was able to get them on sale with a gift card and rewards which took my price down to $10 so they are very worth my money. Overall they are good especially for young kids who don’t need anything too serious.
