Great Affordable Gaming Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Cobra RGB gaming mouse is a must for any PC gamers that are looking for an affordable option. The chroma is bright and amazing, with a good amount of options for having it change colors in different ways. The mouse fits into your hand easily and comfortably, with good side grips as well as very responsive buttons. This is one of the best gaming mice I've owned at the price range it is offered at.

Perfect mouse for beginners and the experienced!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer peripherals are the first ones I ever fell in love with as an early gamer back in 2014 or so. Their edgy appointments and tasteful RGB LED lighting have always been some of the key features that have had me come back to them. Now, with this inexpensive and incredibly high-quality mouse, I am sticking around with them again for a while! I have been running a SteelSeries Aerox 5 wireless mouse for a while as my daily driver FPS gaming mouse, and I admit I have grown frustrated with the seemingly endless cycle of 2.4ghz wireless connection issues and having the mouse lose battery life at the most inconvenient of times right in the middle of a match. I found interest in this Razer Cobra wired mouse as a small, lightweight, wired mouse with the simplicity that those features imply combined with the high quality I have known of Razer. This mouse has everything you need for simple FPS gaming. Is lightweight and has an excellent polling rate and boasts an 8500 DPI optical sensor that allows for precision and excellent flick shots in games like Hunt Showdown. If you are preferential to switching DPIs midgame like I am, I found out that in the Razer Synapse software, I can change how many DPI presets there are, and I have now narrowed it down to two custom DPI settings: 1850 for my faster flick shots and 1600 for more precise aiming. The button directly below the scroll wheel lets me switch between these two settings easily! The scroll wheel, mentioning that, is very precise and has distinctly articulated bumps as you scroll along. The two side buttons are mapped to certain actions in my game and are also helpful for navigating back and forth on Google Chrome pages. The only thing I will say is that Mouse Buttons 1 and 2 (your index finger and middle finger buttons, respectively) have a remarkably loud click that some gamers may not like. I personally don’t mind at all! Continuing to discuss the mouse’s quality. The braided cable is an extremely nice feeling material and pushes along my desk and Razer Goliathcus mousepad without any hang-ups or catches at all. The RGB is tasteful and not distracting, with the Razer tri-snake logo on the top being programmable RGB along with a nice “underglow” strip of RGB right at the underside front curve of the mouse. All the above I have detailed makes for an excellent mouse that is sure to be a winner for gamers of all types! It should be noted that this is significantly smaller than some mice Razer offers. This would be best for medium male hands at most (I am a medium-large nitrile glove size, and this fits just about right for me) or for more petite female and adolescent hands. Thanks for reading, and hope this review helps offer some insights!

Simply Great!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer provides some great gaming mice. Whether you are looking for a mouse with all the features or a mouse that will get the job done, you cannot go wrong with a Razer mouse. The Razer Cobra is a budget-friendly mouse that still contains many excellent features. I have had the chance to test this mouse out for the past couple of days and in this review, I will provide my thoughts on the Razer Cobra Gaming Mouse. Note that this is only a wired gaming mouse. Even if the mouse is wired, the braided cable feels high-quality and light enough that it almost feels like the mouse is wireless. The mouse itself is extremely lightweight at about 58 grams. I seriously loved how it glided on my mouse pad. I found it enjoyable to use during my gaming sessions, especially with FPS games which were full of exciting and smooth gameplay. RGB is also present on some parts of this mouse. The logo and part of the bottom ring contained the RGB lighting. It would’ve been neat if Razer had made the entire ring on the bottom RGB but at this price point, I cannot complain. I took this mouse to work too to test out its office capabilities and all I can say is it works great with just about anything. I like setting my DPI to a high value and was able to play with those settings at work and having the two “front” and “back” buttons on the side of the mouse seriously helped with navigation. In terms of customizable features, Razer’s Synapse software works wonderfully with this mouse. Customizable buttons, sensitivity, RGB lighting, calibration, and firmware updates are some things you can do with Razer’s Synapse software. In conclusion, this is an incredible gaming mouse. Not only is it budget-friendly but the many customizable features will allow you to find the perfect settings for your setup. Also, no charging is required, which is always delightful to have. I have no complaints about this mouse and as a result, if you are looking for something more budget-friendly but still name-brand, I wholeheartedly recommend you give the Razer Cobra a shot!

light, responsive, versatile mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, if you're reading this review, it's because you care about your mouse in your gaming experience! It's a mouse review so I'll give you what I like and what I don't. Pros: 1 - Mouse is very responsive on different surfaces. In fact, it acts just as well with or without a mouse pad. This to me is great because when I'm gaming on the fly, I don't always have a chance to take the pad out or the space might be too small for a mouse pad. 2 - Speaking of space, the button on top just before the scroll wheel changes your mouse speed. It has 5 speeds so if you put it on 4 or 5, you can cover a lot more ground on a lot less space. Again, handy in space limited situations. 3 - The Razer Cobra is super light and feels natural on the hand, being relatively ergonomic. 4 - Scroll wheel has grip bumps so that your scrolls are more accurate. 5 - The mouse is nicely lit up rear side, although not visible while playing. But if, say, you're playing in the dark, you'll be able to locate it quicker. 6 - Fast clicking, fast scrolling, and accurate (see photos of some tests). 7 - Long connection cable 8 - Ability to switch mouse speeds at the click of a button Cons: 1 - Thumb buttons are a little too high. The way my thumb sits on the mouse and probably most thumbs, those buttons should be slightly lower than they are. 2 - Not as ergonomic as it could be. The mid upper section is relatively high and the rear of the hand does not rest at all on the mouse. This would likely cause more hand fatigue unless you support your wrist somehow. Overall, a lot more pros than cons so I'd definitely recommend it over a standard mouse, especially FPS games. Stars: 4.5/5 (rounded to 5 since there are no halves here)

Smooth Sailing Gaming Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Cobra Gaming Mouse is a cool looking, smooth running, lit, affordable gem. Ok, here’s why I think it is all those things: Cool looking? Sure, subjective, but who can argue with sleek black, curved in all the right places, with a brevity of all the needed features to fulfill your bidding? Fits in your hand comfortably, is light and comes with a speedy cable that feels like its filled with helium and encased in a velvet glove. The underside is supported by some kind of space-age voodoo technology (PTFE) that makes the mouse travel with minimal effort so that when your broad, sweeping, lightning-fast gaming motions are needed, this mouse delivers. And batteries? Batteries? We don’t need no stinkin’ batteries here. Lit? Yes, with lights. The unmistakable Razer logo is once again backlit with an ever-changing series of color fades that can be coordinated with other Razer products like keyboards, laptops or other devices from Razer via a comprehensive app called “Synapse” that will cost you about 500 megabytes of drive space. The app will also help you “personalize” your controls via various macros and adjustments like toggling through 5 adjustable preset DPI rates from 200 to 8,500 with the mouse button on top and adjustment of the polling rate from within three settings of 125, 500 or 1000 updates per second. Worth it? Maybe. It just depends on how much you value the additional numerous controls, the look of the lights and their coordinated dance. Affordable is relative, but this mouse is definitely not overpriced and delivers very good performance, aesthetics and ergonomics. Is it a gem? Well, when the internal green lights are glowing, I’m sure reminded of emeralds, so yes, to me, it’s a gem. Recommended.

Razer Cobra for the Win!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been contemplating between getting a wireless mouse vs. wired mouse and ultimately after doing some research online I decided to go with Razer Cobra Wired Gaming Mouse with Chroma and RGB Lighting. I am very happy with my choice and here are my thoughts on it. This Razer Cobra Gaming Mouse is a lightweight gaming mouse that is powered by Razer Chroma RGB. Since it is very light (it is only 58 grams), your hand will not get tired or become stiff while playing certain high intensity games. Next, this mouse has a sensitivity of 8,500 DPI and features ultra-durable switches, precise adjustments can be made in 50 DPI increments. If you have other Razer products, this mouse also has a gradient Chroma underglow that can be customized with close to 16.8 million colors and countless lighting effects and of course sync nicely with your Razer keyboard and Razer gaming pad. The wired choice will ensure zero latency issues, so rest assured your gaming will be superb. It is, as expected a customizable mouse, so you can assign certain button mapping and macros. It also features Hypershift for controls (make sure you have Razer Synapse installed on your desktop. It is very comfortable to use not only for gaming but for any other tasks, and it will definitely be in my travel bag from now on. I like that it is well made, the Speedflex cable does not get in my way and I'd definitely recommend it as it is also quite affordable!

This Cobra Is King
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have quite a few gaming mouses/ mice/meese...whatever. You get where I'm going. Either way I've got a few. And even though this one is wired, I get it. Because the one thing I realised is, at the end of the day, I'm going to plug in my wireless mouse and keep on gaming at some point or another. The difference with the Cobra is quite obvious. The amont of buttons are redused, but man does it feel good in the palm. It's lightweight and responsive. I feel like it's perfect right out of the box. I plugged it into my PC and it was just ready. Now you all know, that everything has that update. That driver install on the app, but no reaal ttime lapsed at all and I was on my way to getting sniped, as I do so very well. Lol!The app is a great tool for editing the feel and responsivness, but if you're coming from another Razer mouse, you won't have much of a problem. My RGB setup is still ACES. I was alittle worried ablout going lighter, but it's defininitely a welcomed change. I actually feel like my K/D ration may get a little better now. I highly recommend the Cobra.

Good wired mouse for anything
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make sure a wired mouse is what you are wanting. This is NOT a wireless mouse. That being said, if you want wireless, the. This won’t be your choice. But if you want a wired mouse, this is a great option. The actual field of the mouse is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. The mouse cable is very smooth for movement, but has a professional grade outer exterior. The sensors are very precise and work with almost any mouse pad. I strongly suggest not using this mouse on a table, glass, or any other material than an actual mouse pad. Overall, this mouse is huge and performance again very reactive and is perfect for gaming. But if you are just looking for a professional mouse for work or play even design work this is a good option to add to your set up. On the bottom, it has two silicone patches that make it easy to glide and even ace small patch around the sensor for protection. It has two buttons on the side, one button in the middle on the top, your two main right, and left in a scroll bar in the middle everything you need.

Very Accurate Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm always looking for better peripherals for my PC's. Especially mice and keyboards. I don't typically like fancy things. I prefer simple things that just work well. This mouse does just that. Also, I'm a lefty and actually use my left hand for mousing so I need something that isn't designed only for right hands. This mouse is not a right-handed ergonomic mouse so I can actually use it! I'm not a big gamer. I use my PCs more for architectural drafting, but I find wired gaming mice are better than standard wired/wireless mice. This mouse is very light, very accurate and has great click action. I especially like the sensitivity adjustability. I can dial in the perfect rate for speed and accuracy. I can find and select elements in my drawings more accurately with this mouse than any other mouse I've used. The software allows me to either set up to 5 sensitivity stages, selectable by a button behind the scroll wheel, or have a single setting. Sensitivity is adjustable between 200 dpi (slow mouse) and 8500 dpi (stupid fast mouse). I am most comfortable in the 3200-3600 range. With many mice I use, I find I can accidentally click the main buttons just resting my fingers on the mouse. I have not had this issue with this mouse. The buttons are firm enough to prevent unwanted clicks but light enough to click easily. There is some noise with each click but it's not obnoxious. The USB chord is sheathed in a nice flexible fabric material instead of a more typical vinyl sheathing. This material is slicker than typical materials and looks like it will help limit snags. The software is easy enough to use. You can use it without an online account, but Razor does try to get you to make one. The account lets you save profiles online and gain access to a few additional features. You can create profiles locally as well. This is great is multiple people use the PC or if you find you need different settings for different games. The lighting effects are subtle and easy to adjust. Apparently, there is a way to connect the software to Amazon Alexa to control lighting. Not something I am interested in. When you press the button to change sensitivity stages, a little window will pop up to let you know which stage you are in and the DPI level. There is also a calibration page. If you use a Razor mouse pad/surface, you can tell the software which one you are using for an optimized experience. Any of the buttons, aside from left click, can be programmed for one of many functions. I set up the 2 programmable buttons on the left side of the mouse to open the Calculator and the Task Manager. This is very convenient… I do have to say, the mouse is not perfect. As a lefty, the 2 programmable auxiliary buttons are on the wrong side of the mouse. While I can still use them, I must move my hand more than I would if they were on the other side. It would be nice if they had these buttons on both sides for us lefties. I also had some issues with the software not saving settings in the profiles. Seems when I created a new profile, my original profile rest to defaults. Not sure why… All-in-all, my gripes are minimal. This really is a great little mouse at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it for those looking for a very flexible and accurate mouse.

AMAZING
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not going to lie at first i thought it wasn't for me personally because before purchasing I was using a larger mouse, but after 2 days of playing with it I felt the difference in my game play. The mouse is much faster/ responsive than my previous one. The fact that it is much lighter also adds to the speed. 10/10 would buy again

a mouse that is good for gaming or everyday use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really nice gaming mouse. I did enjoy using it for gaming, but I also liked the way it feels and use it as an everyday mouse. The USB cord is very long and is also fabric covered making it very flexible. I noticed that with it being fabric the cable doesn't get as tangled up. The buttons are in the proper place to be used quickly. There are two buttons on the left side of the mouse that can be customized to your liking. You can create different profiles in the Razer Synapse application. I have one setup for everyday use and another profile created for gaming. Makes switch the mouse setup a breeze! I currently have the buttons setup to increase the volume or pause/play what I'm watching. There is a button below the scroll wheel that is used to change DPI. This was helpful playing games to help slow or speed up the movement of the mouse. The application is very user friendly and easy to adjust buttons for the mouse and the color modes. If you have or plan to purchase other Razer products, they can also use the app for customizations. The mouse does light up nicely and is not intrusive or overly bright. Overall, I like this mouse for the ease of use and that it doesn't cause my hand any fatigue. I did have a very nice wireless mouse that was pretty expensive but that broke. This mouse is just as nice, and I like the fact is wired instead of wireless. I think for the price this can't be beat and is well worth checking out.

A great entry level mouse for Gamers!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Cobra Gaming Mouse is a great entry-level option for gamers who prioritize comfort, precision, and speed. The lightweight design, responsiveness, and Chroma lighting are all great features found on many higher priced options. In the box you’ll find the mouse, with attached USB A cable, and some basic documentation for the warranty. I'm was impressed by the flexible cable, which didn’t snag itself or feel like it was in the way, it offered plenty of length to reach my gaming PC on a shelf, and the mouse feet allowed for smooth movement on any surface. It is also plug and play for both MacOS and Windows PC, allowing you to jump right into a game. The Chroma lighting would default cycle colors on both the logo near the palm area, and a nice glow along the lower edge. Overall, its a solid choice for FPS gamers who want a reliable and comfortable mouse, but aren’t looking to break the bank, or have the need for more buttons for MMORPG’s. The lighting adds a nice touch, living up to the Razer brand, and the performance easily bests any budget gaming mouse you can buy online. If you’re in the market for a new mouse, or looking to gift your gamer kids a solid gaming mouse that can be used for work, school, and gameplay, this is a great choice.

Lightweight, accurate control and response
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RAZER Cobra gaming mouse glides across smooth surfaces thanks to its Teflon glides. When used on a mouse pad, super precise control is obtained. Even though its a wired mouse, the special braided cable allows for easy mouse movement. The cables length lets it be used further than most other controllers. The LED LOGO changes color depending on the app settings. It also shines a subtle light on the mouse surface. I find the left and right mouse buttons comfortable and provide great tactile feedback. This is a wheel mouse. The center wheel scrolls both up and down or whatever you have programmed it for. It also provides a digg' input or can be held down to provide another set function. In AutoCAD, it allows me to pan the drawing. I find this is the perfect mouse for long gaming or for doing serious CAD drafting work where long hours are spent using the mouse. It fits my hand very comfortably. The left side has two (2) programmable buttons, depending on the game your into. Since the mouse is so light there is almost no physical fatigue from long use.

Lightweight and Stylish
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used several “gaming-centric” mice, all shapes and sizes, all weights and designs. The Razer Cobra has some of both my favorite and least favorite design elements. The Razer Cobra has a sleek and stylish design that is sure to have good general appeal to gamers who are looking for subtle gaming aesthetic that looks as good as it performs. The mouse is made from high-quality materials and has been designed to be both durable and comfortable to use. This mouse comes with a range of features that make it an excellent choice for gamers. It has a high-precision optical sensor that provides accurate tracking and fast response times. The best feature might be the incredibly satisfying switches. No mushy buttons here! When it comes to performance, the Razer Cobra is a great and reasonably priced high quality gaming mouse. Excellent for gaming, It has been designed to provide gamers with the speed and accuracy they need to perform at their best. The mouse is also very responsive and light, weighing in at just 58 grams. For me, it’s just way too light. I don’t want to push a brick around while gaming, but 58 grams is just a little too light for me. Sure, there are lighter units are the market, but anything under 60 grams is just lighter than I'd prefer. Overall, the Razer Cobra is an excellent choice for gamers who are looking for a high-quality light weight gaming mouse. It has a sleek and stylish design, excellent accuracy, and provides outstanding performance. If you’re looking for a new gaming mouse, the Razer Cobra is definitely worth considering.
