Gray keyboard Gets the job done for the price tag

I previously owned a keyboard that was "back lit", but the letters were not transparent, so the light didn't shine through the letters, making it impossible to see at night. The Razer - Cynosa Chroma USB Keyboard is completely amazing. The keyboard can be set up to display any color you choose... literally any color. It's capable of producing over a million different colors which you can choose by using the included software. You can pick from amazing lighting effects, or you can use a simple, one color setting. The software for this keyboard has so many options... macros, turbo, color setting, brightness control, and many, many more. I can play games in the complete dark, since the letters light up, making them easily visible in any lighting situation. The feel of the keyboard is perfect, and I can type comfortably for hours. You can change the color of individual keys or groups of keys for a completely customized look. Most keyboards with the same features cost well over $100. This keyboard is priced amazingly low, and the quality of the build is very good. I love this keyboard!

I purchased the Razer Cynosa Chroma recently and man is it worth it. I work from home and I could not find a keyboard that worked for me......that is until a friend recommended this keyboard and I decided to give it a try. I have NO regrets! It feels comfortable and typing is easy. On top of that, it is an awesome gaming keyboard. Response time is superb and the ability to bind keys to do specific actions gives me an edge when gaming. The RGB lighting effects in combination to the Razer Synapse program is insane. I for one LOVE the "Fire" effect. I plan to purchase more Razer products in the future. I give this product a 5 out of 5!!!!

This keyboard is very easy to use and is very quiet. The lighting on the keyboard is an excellent idea and really Makes it easy to use in a dark room.

These are really neat keyboards and LEDs are simply awesome. I've been using Razer keyboards and mice for well over a decade and although I see others online who claim they've had bad experiences, from a hardware perspective they been rock solid for me. I dig the soft-touch keys, but use this for non-WASD games (E.g., flight sims) and work applications where a backlit keyboard comes in handy. The new Synapse software is functional and looks really cool in the rare instances where I use it for APEX legends, instead of my mechanical Razer Blackwidow Pro. Great buy and totally worth it!

The Cynosa gaming keyboard is a membrane key wired USB keyboard. I like membrane keyboards over mechanical because of sound when hitting keys. The Cynosa Chroma uses Razer's Synapse 3 software/driver (still in Beta form, but works just fine) to set keyboard lighting settings. Settings can be linked per app, and there are already app styles out there that the Synapse software general finds for you from their website. I have a Naga Epic, so these work together pretty well. The Synapse software can even run some smart home lighting, so when you start a game, it could change the lighting in the house/room according...or if you play a movie, it could dim the lights. Keys feel solid, keys can be different color/lighting than the back light. Presets will make the keyboard change a rainbow color in a wavelike pattern and more.

I got my son a Razer mouse for Christmas, so when his keyboard started flaking out a bit on him, I picked up this Razer keyboard to replace it & to go with his mouse. The price was on par with budget gaming keyboards with lesser options. Personally I prefer mechanical keyboards (lifts monocle) but for a membrane keyboard this is a solid choice.

I was just looking for a replacement keyboard with a backlight option. This one has it all. SO MANY options for lighting from solid colors to ones that react to what you are doing/playing. And I'm still learning all the different options/programming ! Keyboard has a very solid construction and high quality feel. Keys feel good just typing on it.

Cannot say enough good things about this keyboard! I've been typing more for my job over the last year and have found myself being more critical of keyboards. I've tried a few different brands and key styles recently, and have found faults in all of them that become deal breakers. I decided to forget about the convenience of wireless, and consider wired boards. The wired options opened up the door to much more variety. While I consider myself somewhat of a keyboard snob, I'm still not willing to spend big money on one, which led me to this keyboard. For typists reading this review, I think the best compliment I can give is that my use of backspace has dropped drastically! Typing accuracy is sharp, and the pronounced drop & return of each key makes you feel confident as you type. While this is not mechanical, its close to it. The cherry on top are the lighting effects. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about them, but I found myself enjoying the light changes and overall appearance of the keyboard Overall highly recommend! Side note - I do not use this for gaming, strictly typing.

This Razer keyboard is a great and inexpensive gaming keyboard. It came packaged very nicely, with the same packaging all Razer brand keyboards come with. The keyboard was well wrapped and protected. I have not yet had this keyboard for long, but the setup was very simple and straight forward, and was well explained in the manual that came in the box. The keys are not extremely loud, but also are not extremely quiet. The sound is about perfect for me. Feels great while typing or gaming The RGB lighting looks amazing, and is easy to use and customize, just as all Razer products. Overall very happy with my purchase, this keyboard is a great deal for a cheaper RGB option.

Extremely happy with this keyboard. Feels great and sounds quiet. My wife and I love the RGB lighting and the Razer software is easy to use. I’m not a gamer, but found myself needing a comfortable keyboard with backlighting and this checks all the boxes! I couldn’t give a perfect 5 stars because the alternate characters are printed below the normal characters which I found unnecessary. Not the end of the world and I would still buy the keyboard.

The keyboard itself is excellent. The build quality is great, the RGB is awesome, and the fact that it is per key assignable is great! However, the Razer software isn't great, not necessarily the fault of the keyboard itself, but is necessary for the RGB to function. That leads me to the next aspect I dislike, the software has to be running on the PC in order for the RGB effects to work. Otherwise it defaults to a lame color cycle effect. Desipte those things I really shouldn't complain because for the price this is a excellent keyboard. I don't game, but I did want a cool looking keyboard that I could use everyday. They keys aren't super loud, which was a must for me living in a apartment, but yet they do make a satisfying clicking noise. Overall I'd buy it again, and i'm sure with software updates the software issues can be worked out.

Have used almost daily for 2 years. Clickiness is satisfying and the rainbow backlights are asthetically pleasing without being distracting.

Bought this to play some DOOM as the other keyboard I had was not the best nor was it specifically for gaming. This keyboard is very responsive and the keys feel good even for just resting your fingers on as they have a matte finish. Even when just typing, the keys feel smooth and a delight to use. The RGB lighting is very customizable with the Razer software, and I've only briefly played around with it. The keys are so far sturdy enough to take a bit of heavy Stepmania key mashing as well as some furious DOOM 2016 demon slaying. My only complaint is that the keys don't click as much as I would like. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who asked.

The keyboard itself is of very high quality. The keys make a satisfying click as you type. The colors are pretty cool looking as well. Set up is super easy and the software allows you to change the color scheme and patterns.
