The headset itself sounds/looks great. I've had this headset for a few months now and I can say I am all around happy with it.

Very comfortable headset with great surround sound quality.

One of the main issues I have with other "gaming" headsets is they would require me to use push to talk instead of voice activated due to ceiling fan causing the mic to initiate voice chat...continuously. Not only is the surround sound great I can now use voice activation with voice chat software: discord, mumble and team speak.

The headset has been absolutely amazing and have had it for about a year now and have had zero issues with them. The Mic has been the best microphone on a headset i have ever had and is easily configured. Synapse isn't that bad either unlike what others out there make it to seem. I would say that the only downside is that your ears can get a little hot after wearing them for awhile.

I was looking for USB Gaming Headset for Windows, this one had good reviews, so I bought it and ended up using only for 3 days. Overall, I liked it a lot, sound is great, microphone is very convenient to use, only problem I had - could not adjust a band on top of my head. Band was pushing and leaving red mark on my head (my head is not big by any means :), unfortunately, I had to return it.

The reason that I am giving this 5 stars is because of the way the suround sound works and the microphone. I am not a gamer per say, but I do like the way it follows the movement of action in games. I used the microphone to help me with a language program I am using, it very sesitive and accurate.

These headphones are awesome, made out of good material. Only complain, sometimes the LED's just don't turn on, this is the second pair of headphones from this model and it does the same thing. Not sure if a windows issue, or manufacturer. Regardless, audio is good and microphone is not bad.

Only Positive: When you first use them, they are decent, sound good. Negatives: 1: Give it two months tops, and the band will snap on the left side next to the microphone 2. Razer Customer Service makes Microsoft Service look like the best in the world. 3. For a replacement headset, it will take 4 to 6 weeks. And they are out of california 4: What you receive as warranty replacement is garbage, its basically a repackaged return that was never fixed. 5: Upon receiving your warranty replacement, your warranty is immediately voided, you do not even get a 30 day period on the replacement, and they will block further communications. Do not buy from this company. They make some of the worst companies, like the ones run by Trump, look like they are 10 out of 5 Star.

After two years the sound quality is still great and can get very loud and the mic is still in amazing shape, sounds great. Undoubtedly one of the best headsets I've ever owned, will probably have it for another 2 years before I need to replace it.

The sound quality on the razer kraken 7.1v2 is actually worst than the original razer kraken 7.1 Chroma. Otherwise they are decent.

I play a lot of fps games and the sound is impeccable. I can hear the games footsteps from a mile away and know the direction. The mic is a standard headset mic, but its reliable. The mic also has a button where you can shut it off and retract. 5/5 would buy again

This headset is that I want, great sound and comfortable

Alot of people hate on razer but I've never had an issue with any of their products this one included. It's light but thr build quality is great. Alot of customizable options to boot and the mic is clear. Great buy if you're looking for a cheap surround sound headset!

Bought these for my son and he loves them! Excellent sound and microphone is great. He says these are better than any of the other brands he previously had. He already had the Razer mouse and now wants the razer keyboard. Great products. Would definitely recommend!

I play a fair share of PC games and I like to get competitive in them and having this set of headphones really gives that edge for game audio. I can really zone in and use the audio to my benefit to out play my openents. Also has crisp and well balanced sound!

They look great, they fit great and they sound amazing. I was a a bit skeptical regarding surround sound from a headphone but I really do seem to pick up the direction the sound is coming from when gaming. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

I bought this head set for my son. He is an online gamer and uses a head set to keep the volume under control at night. They have great sound with no outside interference. Full metal band is also a nice feature as he has broken plastic ones previously.

Sound is great, noise cancellation is great, I can't even hear my Dad when he's calling for me! You will love these if you want to drown out background noise when you're yelling obscenities at your online "friends"! Gamers around the world UNITE!!
