Amazing performance! You can really feel the base of a nearby explosion, while playing your favorite game and also be able to carry on a full conversation at the same time. Having the ability to mix my chat and game audio by just adjusting the weel on the headset is also one of my favorite features of this headset as well!!! They are a bit on the heaver side but not bad. The headset itself is very comfortable and they cushions don't make me sweat. This really is just another one of Razer's amazing products.

Got this for my PlayStation. It does not automatically switch between the tv sound, and the headphones when you turn them on. I have to go into the audio setting every time I want to switch the output. The PlayStation defaults the the tv in automatic mode. The sound is awesome and the battery life is good so far. They are also very comfortable and don’t irritate my cauliflower ears since the cans are so deep.

I really like these headphones. The cups seem a little large but they also provide full coverage around your ear and tend to give off good bass whether you’re listening to music or playing games. I like this version as it has the USB dongle, which may be a deal breaker for some. The reason why I like it in this format is that I'm able to use it on my game console and easily disconnect it to use on my computer for work items like remote meetings. Some other reviews here say that the dongle is flimsy and uses cheap plastic. I do see that a little, but it doesn't seem like it isn't built in a manner that would cause it to break easily. I think where the negative reviews are coming from in regard to this piece is that you could easily be too rough with it pulling it out of USB ports and sticking it back into other USB ports. A workaround I plan to do with the dongle is use heat shrink tubing to keep the case secure. Connectivity is pretty quick and seamless. There also does not seem to be any latency. I like that the mic flips up to mute the device, it does not feel like it is in the way when placed in this position. The mic picks up pretty clearly and people on the other end seem to hear me pretty well. It's easy to adjust the volume as it is a rotary wheel. Recommended.

This wireless headset is high quality, reliable, and has a long battery life. The sound is quite good as compared to my hyper x headset. The mic is clear although it seems to be a little better the further away from your face it is so it only picks up your voice, because It's very sensitive. There are changes in the razer software to adjust that, but it's really personal preferance. It's quite comfortable, the autosizing adjust works very well. I tested it on the ps4, and while the sound is great and works very well normally, I should note that it will not work with PSVR. Once PSVR is on and attached to your system, it will not recieve sound anymore from the ps4. The distance doesn't seem to affect the sound quality too much as long as its in range, and it seems to have a large range. overall, a great quality and sound headset.

For as big and heavy as this headset is, it's surprisingly comfortable. I can wear it for hours on end without feeling fatigue. Sound quality is more than good enough for gaming and content consumption. The mic is merely OK. Good enough for Zoom meetings, but again, I don't thin it's something I would necessarily rely on for extremely competitive Call of Duty matches. The first time you connect the wireless dongle, your computer will likely prompt you to install Razer's Synapse control software. It's not at all necessary; you can cancel the prompt, and it won't come back. It charges via micro USB, which is archaic, though to be fair USB-C was far less common at the time the product was first introduced. The biggest con is the battery life. Razer claims 16 hours. With mixed use between gaming and Zoom calls, I'm lucky to see 12-13 so it's more or less impossible to get two working days out of them. I can overlook this shortcoming given the deep discount at the time I purchased them, but for anything more, you're better off looking at pretty much literally any other headset.

    Solid Wireless

This is a very solid headset. The over-ear format is very comfortable, this is best for larger heads (smaller folks may find these floating a bit at minimum extension). Volume wheel on left ear cup is nice for adjustments without audio system settings being affected. No software required, these were plug and play for me. Range is acceptable, ~30ft los, where that is diminishes with walls obstructing los. The reason this set isn't 5 stars is the charging connector. Most headsets have problems with wear on this component. I got 6 months out of mine, and it will only charge with pressure on the port. I had it charging while hanging from a stand, so I figured I would get a longer life out of it, but that's it. The upside is this set has consistently been at the $40 range on Bestbuy.com, so a replacement isn't the worst. I'll likely try to repair my first one as a backup. Overall, this is a basic wireless headset that is unbeatable in its price range. I would say up to $60 it is reasonable, if it we're at list price $99 the value would not be exceptional, but OK.

Great headset for the price. Got the headset during a sale and it was worth it. Surround sound and noise cancelling are awesome, plus the comfort is superb. Reason why I only giving it 4 star is because the headset is huge, its definitely not a headset for to go gamers. It barely fits my backpack with everything else of my stuff, so I have this constant fear of when my backpack hits something, the headset my break.. though the built of the headset feels sturdy. PS: if you can buy this headset on sale, definitely worth the price. But on a regular price.. too expensive.

Purchased these 2/11/23. They were on big discount (65% off). An absolute steal at that price. Very comfortable around ears. They sound fantasic and with the razer software they can be adjusted to your listening preference. Battery life is good also. Havent had any issues. Highly recommended especially if you get the sale price.

Solid headset, comfy ear cups. Good sound. I have a larger head so it is still a bit uncomfortable. I’m sure I’ll break them in before too long. Downsides are that they feel pretty bulky. Not in weight, but it just seems like they could have made them a bit more sleek. That and synapse software could be better.

Bought this to replace a failing Logitech set. The Logitech was a good set that lasted years but I wanted to try something different. This set was easy to set up and is very comfortable. The software helps create an excellent sound. I like the fact that I can walk around my house while listening to music without interruptions. While gaming the sounds come out very clear. You can here the smallest sounds like you were right next to it. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good sound.

I picked these up on a sale recently and they haven't disappointed. Connected to PC they get great battery life and have great range with the USB adapter included (I've been able to walk at least about 50 ft away between two walls). The sound is also full range with decent bass. The cupped and padded earphones also feel great.

I already had a wireless headset, but couldn't pass up on this one when it went on sale...and I'm happy i got it! Yhe sound quality and comfort are both awesome! The headset looks a little funky because its, honestly, pretty gigantic. But who cares! We're gamers! It works great for sitting in front of a screen for hours on end.

I got it on sale for $35, and it’s absolutely a steal. This is better than a $50 headset, and maybe somewhat comparable to $100 headsets. The bass is good, yet has a clear sound, and fits very comfortably. No audio or microphone issues, and I’ve had consist 10-14 hour usages without charging. Spatial audio is alright. Comparable amongst $100 headsets.

These are very comfortable and can be work for long periods of time. It is worth noting that the ESSENTIAL version operates strictly in a wireless mode. There is no 3.5mm jack if you wanted to use them in other applications such as listening to music where a physical connection is required. If you dont mind looking like an aircraft pilot, the massive ear cups won't be an issue. You'll need to EQ these to get the best sound, I personally found them to be quite flat in response.

I have had this headset for almost 2 yrs. It has been very comfortable and with great audio. The built in volume control was great as it worked independently from the controls on the computer. Unfortunately after almost 2yrs it is starting to have issues sending sound to both ears. Still would make this purchase again.

This gaming headset is amazing! The sound quality is outstanding with deep bass and clear highs, making gameplay super immersive. The noise-canceling works great, and the microphone delivers clear voice quality, which my friends immediately noticed. It’s comfortable for long sessions, thanks to the soft ear cushions and adjustable headband. Lightweight but durable, it’s perfect for any gamer. Highly recommended! Only bad thing would be the ear cushions wear out in a year had to replace
