Cannot give less than a 1 star or i would. Did not perform to expectations, loaded a bunch of junk during install which disables native programs. Not glasses friendly as sound from headphones is picked up by mic causing feedback and echo which support could not rectify. Troubleshooting was slow and delayed return beyond best buys 15 day return policy. Sound and chat wheels are loose and get moved everytime you put them on or take them off. Software defaults everytime you start your pc. Software installs several sound devices which must be changed according to game, music and pc sound. Not worth the high price tag when there are much much better headphones out there in the same price range. Dont let the bells and whistles fool you like they did me, get a quality headphone with a brand that has a good reputation.

The mic quality is bad on the receiving end when people are trying to hear me. The hearing quality isn't that bad but could also use improvements as there's to much vibration with headphones.

Ive owned multiple pairs of Nari Ultimates great headset for gaming. My latest pair almost lasted a year before the hing holding the ear cup broke. Contacted razer and was told thats unfortunate sign up for our news letter and you can save 10$ on your next purchase. Very disappointed in razer the 2 year warranty is a fake warranty, or either an error on best buys part posting it or razer is lying im thinking its razer tugging our chains.

A unique experience

With the pandemic still ravaging the world, many gamers looked for peripherals to enhance their indoors lifestyle. And I chose this headset because its most unique feature got me wanting to try it.
First of, the sound quality. Out of the box, the nari ultimate will feel lacking in the midtones and some treble. I tried it first on Call of Duty warzone for ps4 and while the explosions and gunfire are pronounced, footsteps, chatter and minute sounds are somewhat broken. HOWEVER, after i downloaded synapse 3 and tinkered with some settings that I finally liked, the sound quality noticeably improved. I recommend using the equalizer for game rather than movie for a well- balanced sound. Synapse 3 is a must. Some say turning off thx spatial audio, but I keep mine activated because it really works. It does give a multi directional feel of where the sound is coming from.
Then the haptic feedback. This is what made me curious. As there is no test unit, I gambled and bought the nari ultimate to experience it. What I can say is that it definitely adds a whole new level of immersion. I thought it will just be a gimmick but it works, especially for fps and explosion heavy games. The hypersense technology will vibrate the the headset when a sound is being produced by your in-game character or when literally anything is happening in the game. Although I can say that the vibrations will take a while to get used to but once you tried it, you will really want to play with it rather than without. Best of all, the haptic feedback will activate even if you are on wired mode, while watching a movie or even when listening to music, though the last is not advisable.
As to the build, the headset is quite heavy. And I feel that it would really have felt better having adjustable headband and earcups rather than an auto-adjusting one. The combination of metal and plastic is good to the touch, while the cloth in the earcups is a welcome addition instead of a leather one. It is comfortable to wear for about 5 hours of gaming. Beyond that, I can feel its weight.
By my experience, battery life is around 5-6 hours of wireless use with the hypersense technology on and on default setting. While this is relatively short, the good news is that you can use the headset while charging.
I will have to say that the mic is on average. It was neither super clear nor muffled. I think kraken x’s mic is better than this. But hey, that haptic feedback would really make you forget this.
All-in-all, razer nari ultimate does what it advertises: to give you a unique experience. I appreciate razer for innovating and adding a new layer of immersion in gaming. I think hypersense is the future, and with a few tweaks in the downloadable razer synapse 3 app, the razer nari ultimate’s sound quality would be excellent for a wide range of games and movies.

I bought this headset to complete my set of wireless peripherals and they haven't disappointed. The big gimmick of this headset is the Hypersense technology, basically it vibrates your head. This is exactly what it is, a gimmick, yet it still is undeniably cool to feel those vibrations while playing games or listening to music. However, I rarely put this feature on nowadays, as it can get in the way of watching a youtube video, or just relaxing while playing a game. These still sound great, they have some nice bass, and I enjoy the sound quality overall. Another major pro for these would have to be the comfortability. At first, it feels weird how it loosely fits on your head, there is no clamping force whatsoever with these. If you tend to move your head sporadically these will fall off. I am highly satisfied with this product and would recommend to anyone who: 1. Has the money to spend, and 2. Is in the market for some wireless headphones.

If you are a PC and Playstation player I strongly caution you against buy this headset.
I have been using these for a month and a half and am getting constant reconnections during PC gaming sessions (see attached screenshot from synapse). On PS5, my friends complain about a really bad echo on their end when I use the headset.
I am now stuck with a useless $200 brick because I was one day over the Best Buy return period.
To any potential buyers: save your money and look for other options if your primary use of the headset will be for playstation and PC

I was replacing my Kraken Pro 7.1.
I had these about 7 days before having to return them. I really wanted to like them but there were a few things I couldn't get over.
The build quality felt really sturdy. I do prefer the adjustable headband of the Kraken Pro's but the headband padding and tension worked very well and was comfortable.
The sound was very good. Out of the box, there was a little too much bass for every day use but setting the EQ in the software made a huge difference. It was a nice clean sound.. however, turning the bass up too far would distort the mids and highs. This is where the haptic feedback succeeded in my opinion. You can adjust it in the software to your liking but you could use it to offset some of the bass.
The feedback is a unique sense I do encourage people to at least try it (BB does have these on display at some locations. While playing games, it did bring a new sense of immersion I did enjoy. It had me jumping in my seat during some gun battles.
Maybe the ones I had were defective but I was told the mic made me sound like a robot on many occasions. Restarting my pc and reinstalling the software didn't seem to help.
The main thing I couldn't get over, the smell. I think it was the cooling gel ear pads. On multiple occasions, it would irritate my eyes and nose, my eyes would start to water.
While the headphones are heavier than most, they didn't feel like it on my head. The clamping force could have been a little tighter. When I would trying to drink something while wearing them, they felt like they were about to fall off.
Like my Kraken Pros, I see the pleather falling victim to pealing and flaking off leaving a mess on my head and around my desk. I'd much prefer the vented fabric without the pleather.

Dirty Nasty Fun Bass

This headset is a love or hate kind of affair. I tested this headset on all my friends and we all came to the same conclusion.
This headset is good for gaming, electronic music, bass heavy music, and action movies. The sound profile is warm and loses detail when compared to some say some Sony MDR's around the same price point. But where the Nari Ultimate wins is just that fun factor, the bass and that rattle to your skull is just so good at times. The adjustable feedback motors are really good and once you figure out the controls and dial it in you will be happy with it.
The Microphone is good enough for gaming, I would not use it for twitch or voice over work, to much noise and not enough detail. Which made it great at the lan party.
The audio nut inside hates this headset, but the fun factor and overall package made me love the Nari Ultimate. It's the dirty Bass and that rumble that hits with your favorite drop, or that crazy gun battle in borderlands with all the explosions going off around you that you can not only hear, but feel.
A foot note for those wanting to use this for VR.
This headset is a little loose on the head, but still good for VR and brings another level of impact to VR gaming.
Overall I feel like this is good headset with a lot of fun factor.

I love high quality audio, so for me to say that this headset is 'almost as good as a full sized sound system' means something.
I have spent over 20 years looking for the perfect sound system, and find that most of what is built today can't match the old school component stereos.
The Pros
The Nari Ultimate is the closed I've heard to perfect audio in a headset.
I've spent the last 2 months listening to music, watching videos, and playing games and I can't find anything to complain about with the sound quality.
Voice chatting online is as clear as a phone call, if not better at times.
The high and mid-range tones are clean and crisp, with no muddling of the sounds
The bass response, without the haptic turned on, is fair (at best) but clear as a cloudless day. With the haptic turned on, it sounds, and feels, like there is a lot of clear bass.
The battery life is actually better than I expected it to be (with the LED off) I can game for hours on end and not worry about the battery.
I can't really comment on the lighting effect as I haven't really used it. I will say that in the short time I had it turned on it drained the battery quite a bit quicker.
The Cons
The haptic feature is nice, but a little over powering if it isn't manually set to the lowest 2 settings using the software . It defaults to somewhere in the middle of the setting range That can make the audio a bit muddled and make you go cross eyed.
The volume knobs on the headset seem to jump from 100% to 60% before working down to 0%. This isn't too big of a deal because I prefer to use the volume controls on my PC.
The only other issue I have had with the headset, and it's a big one, is that, after having it for just over 2 months, the USB dongle seems to be going bad. It will connect and disconnect repeatedly or will fail to work at all.
I wanted to give these a 5 star rating, but this one issue makes me question the build quality of the headset.
I will note that I have not contacted tech support about these issues yet, and if they can get me fixed up with out much fuss, this headset will earn the other 2 stars

I really do love this Headset, coming from an older Turtle Beach gaming set. There are some benefits and drawbacks to it, so I will try to summarize the good and bad.
The Good:
The set is comfortable and loose fitting, which is how I like a headset to fit so it can be easily rested on my shoulders when not in use.
Lightweight and cool feeling ear cushions.
The haptics are a really nice addition, and I didn't realize how much I was missing until I got them. Games like Hollow Knight are made that much more immersive when you can literally Feel getting hit.
The Bad:
The sound quality feels like more of an afterthought compared to the haptics. I have used them to listen to music and they feel great, but may not be the best fit for an audiophile.
They are HUGE. They feel like they take up a lot of space on my head, and while adjustable they are side heavy.
The haptics can be adjusted for a PC as well as the RGB and other features, but the battery life does suffer for it and I find myself tethered to a charger more often than I would like.
Bottom Line:
For the price and quality of this Headset, I would definitely buy it again knowing what I know now. It is a niche item and may not be the best fit for everyone, but I say if you want something unique to give it a shot.
