Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Multidirectional Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception and picture quality, along with its ease of use and the ability to receive many channels. However, some users mention needing a stronger signal and improved range for optimal performance. A few also point out that the cord length could be longer and that placement may require some consideration for best results.

We tried out several antennas before settling on this product. Low profile, non-obtrusive. In our location, it performed as well as other, more expensive, amplified models, and slightly better than less expensive non-amplified models. Picks up most channels in our area without repositioning. In our area, we must reposition to receive NBC, and it won't pick up PBS.

The TV antenna works very well for picking up local stations. The price is reasonable and it is small enough to not be a problem. It seems to be important that the antenna can see a direct line to the major transmitter antennas. We have a large picture window facing that direction and it works well.

Picks up many channels I didn't know about but would have liked a longer cord so I could move it around.

After setting the antenna up, I was pleasantly surprised with receiving over twenty channels. After clearing out the religious channels, I still get 18 channels worth watching, 5 are in HD. Everything except the ABC channels come in reliably. I live with in 40 miles of three transmitters that broadcast a network signal. 2 of the 3 transmitters are with in 10 miles of my location, including the one that broadcast those ABC channels. Not sure why, but I get a better signal from a tower almost 40 miles away than the one that I can see from my back yard. Have tried moving the antenna around in the room with no real change in reception. Other than that, not a bad unit for the price. I think the picture quality on the HD channels rivals what I was paying for with cable....

This antenna really brings in a great picture when it is working. But it is not consistent. Some days I pick up 20+ channels and others I may pick up only about 12. But for a relatively inexpensive device to bring in local channels without any additional costs, this antenna does a solid job.

If you are going to cut the cord, you need an antenna. I bought this and plugged it into my 10-year old Vizio and it has worked well. I am in a first floor condo unit surrounded by buildings and had some difficulty, particularly when initially searching for channels that the antenna recognized. But at this point, I have all the channels I wanted and it gets consistent signal. Good enough for me.

I bought this antenna to get an over the air channel called comet. The reception is very good and easy to set up and hardly noticable when attached to the TV. It works so well I bought a second one for my bedroom set.

I purchased this antenna to get rid of Cable TV and stick with my Blue ray player that has Hulu, Netflix, etc as an APP. At first it worked so-so. But once I attached it to my wall above my window, now I get all of the stations for basic TV and I don't get the interference. I have already recommended this product to a friend and he purchased it and gets great reception in his house.

I have a room in my house that doesn't get used as much as the others, so I didn't want to pay for another cable box. After doing my research I decided to give the RCA antennae a shot. Easy set up, channels are crystal clear. No problems!

The RCA - Multidirectional Indoor HDTV Antenna is a decent antenna that does a good job of picking up over-the-air HDTV signals. Its true usefulness will depend on your location and how close you are to source signals. For the price, it is a good option for those who do not want to pay the high cost for satellite and/or cable TV.
