The Rode Wireless Micro is a cool lightweight mic kit that offers good sound in a small package. Rode is also now currently offering a Camera Receiver for free(you pay for shipping) to people that already own the kit or are purchasing the kit if you register the product on their website. I use it for YouTube videos and mobile podcast setups with my iPhone and the Rode Capture app. Definitely worth the investment.

These Rode mics are fantastic for content creators. The sound quality is excellent — crisp, clear, and professional. I’m especially impressed with the built-in noise reduction; it really makes a difference and feels like money well spent. I’m truly enjoying this product and highly recommend it to anyone serious about creating great audio content.

Amazing mini mics. You really can’t go wrong with these when doing a budget broadcast production or vlogging! The audio is great, it’s super clear. Sounds a little far away but that’s easily fixed with just being super close to the mic. Not the GREATEST for being in super loud environments but that’s where audio filters come into play

Love it, but seems to be a factory issue lots of Reddit threads reporting that the left side randomly stops working…. Just like mine, but it appears to be covered under warranty! I just noticed this same issue today…. 60 days after purchase! Love them, otherwise, but need to do some kind of warranty swap… will update to 5 stars, once remedied.

Simple plug and play setup and the audio quality is very good. You can clip it to a lapel or it also has a little mounting magnet on the clip you can use which is handy. The sleek little charging case is very reminiscent of an airpods case and holds both mics and the receiver plug, which makes storage very easy. I use this system for 10 hours of intermittent usage a day recording appointments for transcription at work and it has been extremely dependable. Would definitely buy again.

I’ve owned both the lightning port version and now the USB-C port version of the RODE Wireless Micro for a month or two now. I was so impressed with this wireless mic when I used the lightning version on my former iPhone 13 Pro. But I will say I loved it so much I went ahead and purchased the USB-C wireless mic version without hesitation when I got my new iPhone 17 Pro. I have found this mic classy in appearance. I’m never afraid to show it on a video. It’s app, the RODE capture app, works perfectly alongside this system as well. But in the end, the sound matters most and RODE has expanded the use of this excellent wireless mic to mirrorless and DSLR cameras no by acquiring a separate receiver. I got mine free from the company and it works great! I look forward to having great audio on my iPhone and Canon R10 in the days ahead!
