I love this subwoofer!
I didn’t want to run cables to the back of my room where I decided to place the sub, so I got the wireless kit Rel Model:HT-Air MKII SKU:6560282.
Extremely simple setup. Creates its own wireless connection. Comes with everything you need. You just need power outlets to plug into near your receiver and also where you decide to place your sub.
If the placement of the sub is close enough to your receiver, you just need a power outlet and an RCA cable to go from the receiver to the sub. No wireless kit required.
I upgraded my RCA’s to Audioquest Black Labs. I wanted to reduce as much unwanted noise as possible.
Sealed system provides beautiful clean punch and rumble while watching movies, and is extremely tight when listening to uncompressed audio 2.1.
I can’t imagine anyone being unsatisfied with this sub. After accommodating for my specific room acoustics, I have it dialed back to 40%.
You will not be disappointed.

Upgraded system with 1st sub, after upgrading AVR earlier in the year that accommodated 9.4 After about 40 year old HK system that still works great at 4.0, So obviously a major upgrade. Rell sub was recommended by several Best Buy experts and glad went higher end. Sub sounds awesome, did need to adjust AVR settings a bit, boosted base too much so tuned it as needed on AVR settings for a great blend of new base range. Music and Movies all sound much better. Old system is great for game room, but no going back from 9.1, except forward to a 2nd sub in the future, and some updated speakers.

REL specializes in subwoofers and it shows. They are great for both movies abs music. They are in a sealed enclosure witch gives them a tighter sound while remaining quite powerful. I’ve been into audio equipment fir 50 years and i have to say the REL subs are inw if the most impressive components I’ve ever cone across.

I researched subwoofers extensively and listened to as many as were available, before making a purchase. I found the REL to be powerful and clear, compared to others that simply created muddy noise. In my home, this sub is strictly for home theater use, and for my 20 x 25-foot family room, it's more than adequate to vibrate the furniture when necessary. Very good quality and sound at a reasonable price.

I felt this was a lot of money to spend on a subwoofer even though it was on sale and i got an additional $60 off because it was "open box" in "like new" condition. It is incredibly powerful with deep clean bass. When setting up, you really have to be careful as you gradually increase the level knob. It goes from nothing to too much in a fraction of a milimeter

Powerful deep tight bass goes below 20 Hz in room, suitable for music, very well made.
My only complaint is auto on/off not working reliably, looks like you need to send full range signal to turn it on.

This sub is outstanding. It can literally make the room quake. You can feel its low vibrations in your chest.
This is simply the best in this price range.
BTW, REL only makes sub-woofers, so you would kinda expect them to be the best!

Plugged it to RZ50 and put a scene on star wars, without any adjustments, the bass instantly made the scene incredible and blended so well with speakers that you did not know where the woofer was located. Very happy with purchase. 14x22 room was filled with more than enough bass. Happy with purchase

I'm picky when it comes to audio components. The HT/1205 MkII brings clean, tight bass that REL is well known for, paired with REL HT-Air Mk II wireless transmitter. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Awesome sub. Rel is one of the best brands out there for subs. This does great for any home theater set up. It preforms reasonably well for music despite being a HT based sub.

Coming from a budget sub to this monster, i didn't know bass can sound this good and have this much impact without sounding overpowering. I can get details in the the bass i didn't know existed. I love the design and i don't miss the ported bass i has previously. I mean i did get 2.
