It is extremely easy to set up and use. I did have a slight hiccup when installing my parents system due to the fact that they use and Apple devices and with the Apple devices there's a little connectivity issue when setting up the Wi-Fi access. It wasn't hard to find a quick work around for it but it did slow down the process just a little bit. Once fully installed this gave no problems with their Apple device. The system is great for parents like me with small children giving us alerts when a door has opened or if someone forgot to close something. When on the go it's nice to be able to check on our home and know it is secure. It's also nice to know that the system has its own internal batteries so if there's a loss of power the security system is still able to arm and stay armed.

It sounds like the device did not meet your expectations in regards to the volume of the siren. The Ring Security Kit 5-Piece is an alarm system that combines reliable home security with a secure internet network. If your siren is triggered in your home or business, the Ring Alarm Base Station siren will sound for 10 minutes and then turn off. The Ring Alarm Base Station has a 104 dB siren.
There are a variety of situations where a homeowner might feel the need to extend the range of the alarm signal. These include:
Living in a very large house where walls and other construction may mute the siren.
Living in a multi-story home where the sounds may not be heard in the basement or attic.
Having areas that are frequently subject to loud noises that might drown out the sound of the siren.
Having people living in the home who are hard-of-hearing who might miss an alert if the sound is too far away.
If the volume of the Ring Alarm Base Station siren is not sufficient for your environment, we recommend that you add the Ring Alarm Dome Siren to your system. The Ring Alarm Dome Siren is a secondary siren that can extend the range of your Ring Alarm to sound in areas of your home.

The newer model, Ring Alarm "Pro" adds in a couple features, most notably an eero router, but if you don't need mesh coverage because you have a smaller home, you mostly get everything else you would want in a lower priced package. Setup is just as easy, and compatible with current gen Ring motion detectors, sensors, and Ring Flood and Freeze sensors.

This product truly brings out the true potential in those smart home components and has simplified the process of Disarming and Arming my home without the need for an app. The system installed easily, it looks clean and timeless makes a pleasant sound when the doors open! I’ve accidentally tripped the alarm a few times and you can really hear it. Works with Alexa devices for added convenience! I’m truly glad I purchased this, absolutely one of my best Smart Home purchases yet! I strongly recommend!

I did. I left ADT and decided upon such as it integrated well with that was already in place. I really prefer the self monitoring and the idea that it’s at such a low cost... $8.50/mthly. I love the ease of installation too. Did it myself and quick too.

It’s easy to setup and works great. We even were able to use the sensors as triggers to turn on things as they open. Great product.

This kit has everything to get started I already added a stick up cam and doorbell outside.

Great system

Only problem is sensor fell off the wall and yes I cleaned the wall prior to installing and I wish it came with a bracket for permanent installation So I need to buy more tape. The free echo 3rd gen. Just sweetened the pot.
