I got a cheap cable off amazon. It was so tight i thought i was going to break something forcing it on so i bought two 15ft rocketfish cables for my two klipsch subwoofers. Its seems to be well built and has thick insulation. It gives a clean signal with no hum or unwanted noise. It's a good quality cord for the money, and plugged in snugly without being to tight.

I replaced a 20-year-old three-foot RCA Monster Cable that was originally used for a camcorder, remember those, with a Rocketfish RCA 15-foot shielded cable. The cable connects my MartinLogin 600X 10-inch sub to my Technics SA-600 integrated stereo/CD amplifier. This was fine when the stereo lived on my desk and cable length was not an issue. As my system grew, and my office needs changed, I found that I needed a rack to store all my gear. The rack stands next to my work desk. I need a longer cable.
The Rocketfish cable is made from a flexible PVC jacket that easily bends around corners, through cable runs, through walls (UL CL2 in-wall rated), and around furniture. For me, the cable needs to run from behind my rack, follow power and data cables to my desk, rest in a wire cable holder under my desk that runs the length of the desk, and be long enough to support the desk changing heights throughout the day. The desk is a motorized, variable height desk. The PVC jacket is smooth enough to resist friction from the other cables. It is also flexible enough to resist snagging on the furniture, laptop power bricks, and other items as the desk rises and lowers multiple times a day. This is important because the desk is powerful enough to cause damage if the cable were to get snagged on anything.
The PVC jacket is molded into the aluminum shell connectors. It is a handsome cable. But definitely not what I would classify as dopamine fueled audio jewelry. The ends of the cable are gold plated. They connect tightly to my sub’s RCA jack and my stereo’s RCA jack. I pulled on the cable and could not disconnect it with a good yank. Twist and pull seems to be the preferred method of disconnecting the cable. There is little chance that the cable will disconnect when playing the system hard. Finally, I tried to unscrew the gold-plated connectors. They would not budge.
My office has multiple laptops, monitors, stereo equipment, a charging station, printer, and everything is plugged into a Panamax power center. The subwoofer cable touches many of these power cables, touches two AC laptop power bricks, and shares cable hanger space under my desk with multiple data and speaker cables. That is a lot of potential EM interference that the cable could pick up. Since this cable is shielded, I do not hear any humming, snow, or static through the sub when the sub powered on and silent. When playing music, my bass is full, quick, and clean. Essentially, the cable is not getting in the way of my music. Which is exactly what one would expect from a good cable.

Rocketfish has introduced their new 15' Shielded RCA cable. The box includes the cable, and that's it. The cable comes with a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.
PROS:
-----------
* 15' is typically long enough for most applications
* The cable feels very durable and is also made for in-wall use.
* Uses digital coaxial technology, so it can be used for TVs/systems that require a coaxial audio cable.
* Looks stylish with the gold and brushed nickel connectors.
* The connectors are snug on the coaxial and RCA female ends of my receiver
CONS:
-----------
* N/A
OTHER OBSERVATIONS:
-----------
* I'm replacing a 6' coaxial cable used for my 350-watt subwoofer connected to my home theater system. There is little-to-no-sound difference even though the other cable had rubber connectors and gold tips. That cable was also shielded to a degree. I'm happier with regard to the extended length since my previous cable didn't offer but a couple inches of slack. It was also not in-wall-rated.
CONCLUSION:
=====================
There really isn't much to the product other than - It works well and looks great if you have an application that features the looks of the cable ends themselves. The cable is shielded (a must) and will provide enough protection against interference for what I need it for. I would imagine that most people would find this to be true for them as well. I'd buy again for sure.

In my house i have audio setups with a sub woofer in both upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs i have a wireless subwoofer kit, but downstairs i have a wired connection. My receiver is mounted on top of my sump pump pit that has a structure built around it as my basement is finished. My sub woofer can only be right next to that structure. This RCA cable is the solution to that.
The cable feels high quality right out of the box, yet is very affordable. The ends are heavy duty and the cable gauge is very thick. The fifteen foot length makes this cable ideal for placing your sub woofer in the perfect spot, or hide the cable in your wall for aesthetics.
After i ran the cable to the prefect spot in my basement, i was able to have the ideal sub woofer placement. I then recalibrated my speakers via the receiver and my entire setup now sounds amazing. I really didn't appreciate the difference the placement of my sub woofer would make. So far there have been zero issues with the connection between my sub and receiver. I would highly recommend!

The Rocketfish 15ft in-wall shielded RCA cable is a great quality cable at an affordable price.
The RCA or Coax Cable has a metal housing around the plug ends, with a gold-plated tip. The cable is housed with black rubber and forms a solid seal at both ends to ensure durability. This cable is shielded and is an in-wall certified cable with a 100m insulation rating.
One thing I really like about this cable is how flexible it is. I am not a fan of stiff/hard cables as they’re a pain to install, being flexible makes is much easier to run it through walls.
I used this cable to replace an old Monster coax cable I used to connect my subwoofer to my receiver. The ends of the cable create a tight and firm grip when connecting it to both of the components, so I don’t have to worry about it sliding out. The cable has a few small imprints in it, I’m assuming it’s from the twist ties that it comes wrapped in, but it’s nothing to be concerned about as no wire is exposed.
As far as the sound quality goes, everything sounded great. I could not tell the difference between this cable and a $150 Monster coax cable I previously used. My subwoofer was able to achieve the same levels of smooth bass as before.
Overall, I am very happy with the Rocket fish RCA cable. The cable is made of good quality, its flexible for easy installation, in-wall certified and offers a firm connection. I would definitely recommend this cable to anyone looking for a new Coax cable.

Recently got the Rocketfish™ - 15 ft. In-Wall Male to Male RCA Cable and had a chance to partially route it through the wall/attic crawlspace this weekend. I already had another subwoofer cable but it was too short so I had to use a female to female coupler/extender which no matter how good it is, can still be prone to some signal loss or noise. That is not the case with the well built Rocketfish RCA cable. It is very well constructed physically, with a smooth protective PVC outer shell that’s flexible enough to be pulled and bent through walls and around corners. The banana plug connectors are gold plated and the connector shell is a very nice aluminum finish. They are not bulky like other overpriced brands, so they’ll fit nicely next to other RCA connectors in the back of my receiver with a multi-subwoofer setup. This cable is not just your typical legacy RCA cable, it is a digital S/PDIF coax cable, made of high-quality, low oxygen copper, shielded throughout to reduce and nearly eliminate any interference. There are power cables in my attic for at least 6 to 10 feet running parallel to this subwoofer cable and I cannot hear any humming interference, so it’s all good. Cables rarely go bad, especially if they’re installed/routed out of sight and not jiggled around, but if you’re in a situation where you may get more wear and tear on your cable, rest assured Rocketfish stands behind their well-built product that’s backed by a limited life-time warranty.

Absolute silence, until the onscreen violence.

With a cable designed for a subwoofer, you are paying for BOTH the silence and the booming decibels when your music or movie calls for it.
I’ve got several subwoofers around my house. Although my B&W Bookshelf speakers sound great in my office/workout room setup, they sound so much better with a subwoofer. Of course, my theater room setup with larger Martin Logan speakers don’t actually need a subwoofer, but I want to hear things shake when that Tyrannosaurus announces its arrival. The one thing you absolutely don’t want is a constant 60hz hum, which too often happens because of a bad cable or a ground loop error. A subwoofer can deliver a perfectly annoying hum hiding behind the blasts, booms and crashes.
A close inspection of this Rocketfish (15ft Male-to-male) subwoofer cable reveals a very well made cable, with a continuous covering of PVC over an aluminum shell. The connector is gold plated brass which leaves no doubt about the quality of the connector and its tolerance for the bending and pulling cable often undergoes. There are no gaps in the insulation. Rockfish specifies this cable is rated for in-wall use and provides a limited life-time warrantee of the materials. The surprise here is the reasonable price. Recommended.

It's always great to find a product that works and specially when it's offered for a good price too.
Well rocket-fish has a variety of products to help with the set-up of your Audio-Video project and and i've been always a fan because of the bang for the buck they offer...
In my case, this 15ft long in wall rated RCA cable saved my life with the connection i had made between my 2 12" Klipsch subwoofers.
While in the past i was running a similar Rocketfish RCA cable from my Pioneer Amplifier -->to my first Subwoofer with great results, i decide to later on add on a second Subwoofer that i ran it on a cheaper rca cable thinking that won't matter since my main connection was strong but boy i was wrong.
It took me forever to identify where the subtle humming noise was coming and i guess was the cheap cable must've been catching some sort of interference in my second connection but i'm glad now that got fixed.
Just after i ran this cable i can tell how nice my surround system works now ... everything is quiet till the madness in movie starts.
And while i'm not using it's full length it's for sure nice to have since i'm moving my setup till i find the perfect spot for my second subwoofer!
