I recently saw a commercial on this product and decided to try it out. At first I was a little skeptical when they told me that you use a real guitar, and that it's awesome fo beginners like me. When I first started playing it and getting the hang of the game. Playing got a lot simpler. Another thing I enjoy about this game. Is it allows you to practice on a specific skill until you master the skill. It also has fun miny games that also help to fine tone your skills. Overall it's a great game for Newbees like me or Experts. :]

I bought this as a gift for my fiance. While I don't PLAY the game, I do hear his progress and have talked to him about the games functionality. He has fussed around with learning to play the guitar for decades, but now I hear actual progress every time he plays Rocksmith. He finds that it adapts well to his progress, keeping him challenged but not overwhelmed. I'm particularly enjoying being able to hear his confidence increasing with every session. We love it! Oh, and the Epi Les Paul Jr. guitar is AWESOME!

I've played GH & RB but, the feel of a real guitar in your hands is Awesome. I have never played any instrutments. First timer and I find myself picking up things easy and naturally. The price can't be beat if you figure in the cost of a guitar and lessons. This is a must buy if you want to learn guitar.

Great for you if you want to learn and do not know how to play a guitar. Lots of fun. Hours go by before you know it. I would recommend it for anyone that is interested in learning to play guitar. A great way to get practice and has many lessons that are awesome.

If you have ever wanted to learn the guitar or if you already know how to play this is a must own. This game is pure awesome. I can't stop playing and in 2 days I have learned more than I did with a year of solo practice.

I got the rocksmith game with a guitar. And since last night I have learned the intro to in bloom by nirvana
