We've tried not only different brands but also different Roku devices. We've cut the cord with cable and use a streaming plan, and this Roku device works the best of everything we've tried. Simple and easy to use interface, and easy setup. Streaming with this we don't even notice we don't have cable. Would highly recommend upgrading to one of the newer Roku devices if you're still using an older model, and the extra features that come with the Premiere+ are worth the cost.

I bought this for my sister. It works great. I don’t like the user interface as well as Apple TV but Apple TV costs a lot more and the remote for Apple TV can be frustrating to use. Thought she would like this better. She likes it. Easy to setup and plays 4K content. No issues with it.

Great option for TV's without streaming option. Was extremely easy to set up, and has so many more options than my other Roku device. Price was perfect!

I have owned three different older models of Roku. My husband and I wanted to purchase one for our living room after getting a new tv. We looked at reviews and debated on getting a different brand, but we just couldn't leave Roku. It has been by far our favorite streaming device that we have had. This device is super quick, and it's easy to add apps to it. We use Netflix, hbo go, plex, abc, and more! We are even thinking about upgrading our older models to this one due to how well it works!

Have used roku products for last 4 years. Pleased to use This new product with 4K capability. Very fast and easy to use as before. Prefer to use this than Apple TV as roku has no restricted echo system.

We no longer use a cable TV provider, only use wireless service from the cable company. Roku, we own 3, allows us to stream all our favorite television shows. The new Roku gives us the greatest picture.

Fast interface and processor; great for streaming. Mine is connected via its Ethernet port (not its WiFi option); an option that is available for this Roku. Other Roku models can only connect via WiFi.

Purchased for the tv in our guest room for the upcoming holidays. Wanted to let our guests be able to watch netflix, amazon prime, and access channels on demand. So far so good and very easy to set up.

Wanted to upgrade from the Roku stick, since I got a 4K tv. This one is not a compact as the stream stick but the remote is amazing you can plug your own ear phone to listen enstead of the tv speakers.

Easy to setup and provide an instant high quality videos. Lit of free channels and movies for families. I wish if it could get connected to other roku devices in the same house will be more beneficial

This player is easy to set up and we like the programming that is installed. There is a lot of extra channels that can be added for free and some at a small cost. So far we really like the ROKU player.

If you are buying a 4K TV definilty get a 4K roku. much easier to use than the Android TV interface on many TVs. if you already have a Roku 3 and are not looking for 4K, then no additional benefit.

Great picture quality. Love that it can be directly plugged into Ethernet for faster speed. We love Roku and have 3 total devices from them. By far this one is the least buggy. Great for the cost.

This product is excellent. I didn't even bother using my new tv's apps to get online I went right to the Roku. It updates often and the app suite is second to none. 4k on my 4K HDR tv works great!

Bought this to replace a Roku streaming stick. This unit with the faster processor all but eliminates buffering. Starting application is noticeably faster. Works great with the Directv now app.

Great to access various apps. This so important since many of devices have limitation to certain apps. The beauty of this device is the image quality, processing speed and easy to use and set up.

I had an older Roku and wanted to get a new one. The Roku Ultra is a great upgrade with many new features, but most importantly, it makes the picture on even lower resolution TVs look much better.

Upgraded from Roku 2 to this model and there is a big difference in the performance. Video quality is excellent. Responds to commands pretty fast. Fast forwarding and rewinding are much better.

This product was easy to set-up; however you do need to purchase a HDMI cable, if you don't have one on hand. While it was simple to setup via Wi-Fi; however, you need some assistance if connecting using an Ethernet connection. Outside of that, the box works as advertised.

This product is so easy to use, that I ended up getting one for my 8 year old to have in their room. It’s much easier to monitor what’s being watch and I don’t have to add unnecessary channels.
