I bought this to upgrade from my old Roku as it was not compatible for the updates and I was not able to switch users on Netflix. It works great, but not even a week and I already had to replace the batteries, not sure if the batteries that came with it were defective or if this remote is going to kill us in buying batteries constantly. The old Roku remote could go about a year or more before being replaced.

I like the picture quality. The remote automatically connected to my TV.

Price is on par with other devices. Very easy to set up and add to network. Netflix runs flawless and is the best for Sling TV compared to ChromeCast, Android Streamers (several varieties) and even better than Xbox- All 3 must use buggy software/interfaces created by Sling. I got this because of the Ethernet port for maximum streaming pipeline. One of my Premier+ uses WiFi works great but does have limits. Love the Point anywhere remote! Hundreds of Streaming apps already on device and Home screen is easy to view and customize. My only gripe and it's minor, wish the remote could be adapted to turn on the TV. This would allow me to only need 1 remote. I have Harmony 650 programmable remotes (4) so not really an issue. Love the Roku now as I wasn't always a fan... I own 4 now, totally impressed! So much so that I cut the cable today! Saving a bundle (no pun)!

Still not sure how's the stick any better if this addon is a lot faster.

Great box to add streaming to your TV or if the streaming built in to your TV isn't the best or if your bluray player has streaming but not the best, this is quite an upgrade in speed and features. I highly recommend just about any of the Roku streaming products, just be sure that you have adequate WiFi speed if you expect to get 4K streaming without buffering issues.
