Best streaming device for the future

It has largest selection of apps of any streaming device/smart tv. What other device will allow me to conveniently watch Big Ten Basketball, Game of Thrones, The Man in the High Castle, and my favorite jumping cat videos in one night?? But for reals, if you are reading this review, it is probably because you are interested in the HDR capabilities that the Roku 4 lacks. Do yourself a solid and pick this up. HDR is the future of visual media consumption and the premiere+ is here for you right now. One interesting (and baffling) flaw with the current device's OS is the fact that it transmits 4:2:2 color subsampling by default (update soon roku??). The premiere+ can only handle HDR10, which uses 4:2:0 color subsampling. It's a square peg, round hole situation. Anyway, you can change the color subsampling to 4:2:0 and enjoy streaming HDR10 content by accessing a secret menu described here: https://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?t=96956&start=30

3rd Roku

We moved it to my daughters room and upgraded to the Roku 3. This was purchased to replace the 3 as it quit working and we had been having issues with it for a while. We also purchased a new Roku stick. No issues so far.
