I purchased the Ultra Roku to replace an older model Roku- what a difference! I directly connected it to my router via an ethernet cable— Fast and smooth streaming! I especially like the headphone jack on the remote- allows me to listen to my fave shows w/o bothering anyone else.

The TV controls via IR and HDMI-cec is great! Uses latest standards in the best way and as intended to create better consumer experience. Previous Roku versions I needed to use TV remote for some things, now I only need the Roku Ultra remote! Thank you!

This product, in my opinion, out performs the Firestick significantly. I've noticed picture quality has improved in the dark colors. I don't see as much compression. Everything about the product exudes refined quality. Extremely happy with this purchase. Worth the money.

Awesome little product. Works great. Also has a little bonus. If your kids have Roku in their rooms and you want to mess with them, you can control it from outside and have them wonder what happened. Not that I would do that :-). All jokes aside it is a great all in one device.

I love that you can hook up your headphones to the remote to have quiet listening. Easy to use and fast responding. After about two years though it seems to be glitchy sometimes it will turn on in the middle of the night or turn off randomly. And sometimes it will reboot itself after getting frozen. I guess it’s time to get a newer model. Still a great product over all.

This is a great value compared tp Apple TV. It is also portable, so you can take it on vacation. It’s very easy to use, and ii is a big help if you have older TV’s that don’t have the streaming services built into them.

I wanted to install an app to watch some of my local channels. The app would not work on the Chromecast or Firestick. So I bought this Roku and now I can use the app I want. Actually with this Roku I rarely use the other devices as I can use all three through Roku!

Gets a better signal than my blu ray player, and keeps my place in the program I am watching.

I started noticing that my old Roku 2 XS seemed to require more restarts (had for about 5 years and used a lot), so I was looking to upgrade. I got this when it was on sale and found that it seems to be faster at loading the apps. Unlike the Roku 2 this does not come with Angry Birds, not that I play any games. Easy to reset up my apps.

The roku device was really new to me, but The handling is so simple and easy, everyone can operate it. It saved me all the extra fees for TV!!! Here in USA you all pay much too much money for tv, phone and internet! It is insane, what the firms want to charge you!

After many battles with cable companies, I switched to Roku and will never go back! The freedom to choose your package and add/delete channels is so simple. Plus, there are so many free channels. The best part is the pricing, way less than cable.

I have been streaming for ages to my TV. My old box was old and outdated so decided to try a ROKU. I love it. Really fast. A lot of nice free channels. 4 stars because the only drawback I can see is most of the channels have no way to stop it from automatically going to the next video. I usually watch at night when I am going to sleep so I would prefer the option to have it stop when the video I am watching is done.

I like the Roku Ultra because it is nice to have one remote which will navigate the streaming apps as well as turn the TV on & off as control the volume. I like any Roku because there is so much to choose frm in the way of apps. It gives me lots of flexibiliity.

This newer roku model is definitely better. Had the older model & decided to upgrade despite not having a 4k tv. It is faster. This was for my daughter's tv. She turned me into roku a gym cc'dyr ago so this was a thank you gift. Now I need to upgrade mine at home.

If your looking to turn your TV into a smart(er) TV, Roku is the way to go hands down! Running great 2 1/2 years strong. I've used a lot of the different media streaming players and Roku wins in all categories.

I own three different Roku models and although they all work the same, you can certainly tell the difference between them. Love the Ultra and just upgraded my other two to Ultra’s over the weekend.

My no frills Roku was so simple to install and use and I have so many options on it that I bought this one for a friend. She's even more technically challenged than I am so I knew it would be easy for her.

I use it for netflix, amazon, and xfinity stream. I have xfinity internet and bought this to eliminate the 11.00/mo charge to lease the additional xfinity satellite box. Paid for itself quickly. No problems with any of the services I use it for.
