I have been using this washer for four months, and it is an exceptional appliance that meets all my requirements while maintaining an elegant design. The machine offers remarkable versatility, allowing users to customize wash cycles with impressive features: Quiet operation; Clear cycle completion notifications; Substantial capacity for handling large loads, including comforters; and Powerful cleaning performance. The washer's adaptability is particularly impressive. For instance, when laundering white towels, the "heavy-duty" setting provides such thorough cleaning that bleach becomes unnecessary. The results are remarkable, towels emerge immaculately clean with a fresh fragrance. The delicate cycle, which I initially approached with skepticism, proved remarkably effective. I consistently utilize the "pre-soak" feature, which I believe enhances detergent distribution and cleaning efficacy. I've had this unit for less than 30 days (so keep that in mind). I like it a lot, I wish it had light to show inside the washer when working (like all little boys, age notwithstanding :-)), I like to see it working. I has many settings to make it like you want/need. I wish it were a bit less expensive :-)) (may be $100 less). I have not used its maximum capacity yet (and by purpose, I got a unit larger than I would usually need, that way it will last longer, so is my thinking). It looks nice and does not take as much space as I thought when I did the measurement, its lid opens quite a bit in front of the control panel which means if you have cabinet above it (as I do) which are not as off the ground as to clear the total height w/ the lid open, you are still OK because the lid opens in front of the wall mounted cabinet and will not hit it. I got a white unit to match my existing dryer and the space the unit went into, and all looks good. It is a quiet unit. I has multiple setting for water temp, spin, number of reins, load size/type, it has softener, detergent, and bleach container, it has delayed start, and smart phone connectivity, and internal faucet which I really like because where is is located, there is no wall sink near by. All and all, I like it and very happy about my choice (let's talk in 5 years and see what I think :-)).

We recently got this washer, and it has made doing laundry so much easier. The first thing we noticed is the capacity. This washer can handle big loads, which means fewer trips to the laundry room and more time saved for us. We can wash blankets, towels, and a whole week’s worth of clothes without worrying about it being too full. The other feature we love is how fast it cleans. The Super Speed Wash really works. Our clothes come out fresh and clean in less time than our old washer ever managed. It is especially helpful on busy days when we need laundry done quickly. On top of that, the washer is smart and easy to use. The settings are simple, and it gives us plenty of options to fit whatever we are washing. Overall, this washer has been a great upgrade. With its large capacity and quick cleaning power, it has made laundry less of a chore and more of a quick task.

I purchased and installed the washer about a month ago. We've done about a dozen loads so far and am very pleased with the results. The washer was easy to install, controls are intuitive, and the rinse process is better than my previous washer. Do follow the initializing sequence as recommended by manufacturer. It is also advisable to match the wash load size to dryer size to ensure full load can be performed and dried in one batch.

Working good per my grandchildren. They are testing it out. It fits snuggly and nicely in laundry closet. Easy to access and use, being used at home. The delivery was great as well as the installation at a later time. Awesome Techs

So far, just three weeks in, this washer is working really well. All functions working properly; clothes are getting clean; love the choice of functions available. When using the smart things app to select the settings, a description of each settings with appropriate laundry type is provided. The user manual can be found online by Googling or Samsung website.

I had one that looked just like this and was happy. However, it didn't last. I thought 10 years and that's great... Oh, silly me. checked the code and it was made in January or 2006. This is very much the same, all new and upgraded electronics. Quieter than my original when it was new... works great, couldn't be happier. Maybe, it will outlast the one I replaced, the dryer is still going after all this time, Maybe I'm just lucky but I think it's a good product,

It is early yet, but so far, the washer works great. We love the way you can fine-tune the wash cycle to your needs. The controls are simple and easy to use, and the washer has a large capacity. It is quiet and doesn't dance around the room during the spin cycle. It is a very cool looking washer which is a plus.

I have had this machine for 1 month now. Huge capacity !! They make a 4.7 CF and a 5.3 CF. Not sure how much of a difference but I chose the 5.3 to wash sheets and towels. I also got the Impellar...as i was getting tired of sheets getting tangled in the regular tall agitator that OFTEN caused the tub to be IMbalanced and was necessary to RE balance the load....Very annoying and time consuming :( This machine can wash MORE sheets and blankets than my dryer can actually handle at 1 time. It DOES take a few washes to get accustomed to the various settings but not hard at all. A " normal" wash DOES take about 90 minutes ( odd) but maybe to save water? There IS a SHORT cycle you can select. ( approx. 20 minutes) ..as well as a DEEP WATER selection if you desire a FULL tub of water. Many folks COMPLAIN...even RETURN machines due to the LOW water levels in NEWER machines. You can thank the tree huggers for that :( But I believe using LESS water and allowing the clothes to beat upon each other actually does the washing. Quiet....HUGE capacity...CLEAN clothes .....just what I wanted !! No " banging" because the wash load gets imbalanced...THAT does NOT happen with this machine ! If you can learn to live with the LONG wash cycles you will be well pleased with this machine. Glass QUIET self close door is a Plus. LOTS of options for ; cycles, water level, various spin cycles, etc. I got mine ON SALE and other stores could not compare in the price.....however...the IN STORE price @ BB was CHEAPER than the ONLINE price ( go figure?) So far....VERY Pleased. i had looked at Front load washers but after some research found that those take a bit more maintenance such as CLEANING the rubber seal around the front door often :( Plus....Front loads required a LOT of stooping if you don't get the pedestals ( approx. $ 150 ea. ( ouch ) I will probably get the Samsung dryer to match once my current dryer conks out. I read a LOT of reviews and so far am VERY pleased with this Samsung unit for the price I paid compared to other units. HUGE capacity....Quiet....CLEAN clothes !! I THINK New dryers come in a 7 Cu. Ft. Capacity which would be great as this machine can handle a LARGE amount of clothes at 1 time. I am talking about 3 sheet SETS at once....or 8-12 towels !! Again...my CURRENT dryer has the SIZE to accept the LARGE bundle but it takes a LONG time to dry all the clothes THIS machine can wash at 1 time; and my current dryer is only 5 years old. AMAZED at the capacity of this machine...and the CLEANLINESS of the clothes !! *** advice: only use 1/4 - 1/3 of a plastic cup of detergent. Soap manufacturers provide a BIG scoop hoping you fill use a FULL cup..or more. MORE soap does NOT clean your clothes....the agitation does ! READ the labels !! Also...avoid the Highly promoted MAJOR brands of soap. Look at the Hispanic brands on the end of the isle...lower shelf. MUCH cheaper in price and they do a FANTASTIC job!! SAVE $$$ AND get CLEAN clothes !! I hope this helps others :)

I can was a king size comforter with NO PROBLEM , no noise when spinning, and everything comes out clean.

Purchased a new washer before the old one clunked out. Doing a great job of cleaning items. It is getting put through the test. A couple of new puppies keep the machine working. We have been able to put bathroom mats in the washer. Machine does a nice job making sure everything balanced for spins. The one downside to this washer, if you're short, you'll have to really reach to get to the items in the bottom of the washer since the tub is huge.

It’s a great washer, efficient and quiet. But Best Buy had to replace the first two delivered for defects, and the 3rd one delivered is perfect. Thank goodness for Best Buy!

Very satisfied with this washer. Very efficient and can accommodate alot of clothes as the drum is relatively very large. Very quiet and efficient. I love the fact also that the lid never slams, so I need not be concerned about just letting it fall on it's own

This Samsung Washer (5.2 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Top Load) was the best selection that I could have made to replace my previous std. 3.5 Cu. Ft. Kenmore washer which was dying a slow death. I couldn't wash more than 5 or 6 light items at a time and needed a washer a skoosh larger to accommodate bulky items such as comforters, quilts, large and heavy fuzzy bathrobes, window curtains, etc. and also fit into the same space as my old machine. It sits a few inches higher than my current dryer, but that's no big deal as I intend to purchase the matching Samsung dryer at a later date. Delivery/installation was easy, prompt and professional and it was worth a separate charge to haul away my old washer. This washer was much quieter than my previous one. Plus, I already had the SmartThings app on my phone so I can check the status of a load at any given time or pre-program the next load from my phone. So convenient!

I just love it. worth every penny. this does not make noise like my previous one and cleans the clothes nicely. Even dries it very well.

This washer has no center agitator. Leaving more room for clothes. It is deep and I am short but tongs work great to get small items from the bottom. It's very quiet since my son's bedroom is next door. Love it.
