What a night and day difference in terms of speed and obviously space. I installed this into my Alienware Desktop from a 512 SSD for boot up and 1 TB HDD drive to the Samsung 990 Pro 4TB SSD and I absolutely love it and truly notice a difference in speed on my PC. Extremely easy to install and surprisingly so easy to clone my original operating system (512 SSD) drive to the 4 TB using the Samsung Magician app. I absolutely love the difference and actually was so impressed I bought a second one since I had an empty slot that I now use for games and work and the other for boot up and software. I purchased my heat sinks elsewhere as I read they can get hot, but I’ve had zero issues with temp and have had them installed for a good amount of time for a strong sample size. You can even monitor the temp and speed using the Samsung Magician App. On the Desktop photo, you’ll see the two red rectangular shapes just right of the RGB ram stacked one above the other and the second photo is the Samsung Magician app. Definitely worth the money if you’re looking to upgrade.

The 990 PRO 4TB was an amazing upgrade for my computer, like giving your brain more room to think! It's super-fast and make my programs load in seconds and files open instantly. With 4TB of space, is grest for video editing that I do without worrying about running out of room. Although my motherboard only supports 3x4, it is backwards compatable and still seen a noticable difference. If you want your PC to feel brand new and zippy, this SSD is the way to go!

I highly recommend the Samsung 990 pro for your laptop or desktop upgrade. It's an excellent drive. Extremely fast and reliable and has a great life. Span to price ratio as well as performance device ratio. I replaced my main drive and secondary drive with these drives and am very satisfied with download speeds and game load times also the Samsung magician app allows you to tweak performance and monitor temperature as well. Samsung 4 tb on sale 105$ off? Yes please. I use Samsung almost exclusively and haven’t had an issue yet. 4 years of solid service using 4 different Samsung M.2s. The speed is consistent and Samsung Magician makes it easy to maintain the M2s and keep them in great condition. It’s free btw.

From my perspective, it's the best M.2 SSD on the market in terms of quality. The price is a bit high, but it's truly an investment that will last you at least two decades. The quality and speed are out of this world, and for gaming, it's simply perfect. If your goal is to build your dream PC, this is the one for you.

I've had zero issues with this drive after nearly 1 year and copy/paste is fast with huge files. Very fast windows 11 boot time and loading games as well. 4TB fills fast with today's gaming libraries, so I'm going to buy another after this review. Battlefield 6 time :)

This is the second one of these I bought for my gaming PC, I take a lot of back captures using windows game bar, and I have it set to 3 minutes long. Along with having a lot of games installed it takes up a lot of space. These SSDs are well worth the price, but I definitely recommend trying to buy on a sale like I have because it’s still a lot of money.

Been in system for over a month, still showing advertised speeds. This is my 5th Samsung SSD, I have a 2TB WD SN850X and can't notice the slight speed increase over that. But both brands have been super reliable through the years, but a much better price on this over 4tb WD.

Ive owned over 5 different nvme of all sizesand samsung has aleaya stayed on top. Dont get me wtong full price is a robbery when the tech is new . The worse experience ive come across this market. Has been corsair and ghe MP510. Last about a year and had drive failure after 20tb rewriten you can see the diferent with pictures . Temperature are also very good for iterms that stay toasty and preforming high end conputers

These Samsung SSDs are the best IMHO. PAssmark test rated them quite high, and they have blended well into my build.

This is, in my opinion, the best gen 4 NVME SSD out there. It has excellent TBW, speed and temps. What more could you ask for? I've slowly been trying to acquire 6 of these to put into a Flashtor NAS. I'm on number 3 of 6. I'll keep looking for deals!
