I purchased this phone in November 2018 & replaced it with the same model in July 2019. After a few months, the original phone developed a couple spots with dark shadows near the top of the display screen. When I attempted to return it for warranty service, Samsung told me that I had to call Tracfone for warranty service. When I called Tracfone, they claimed that I must have physically damaged the screen & therefore it was not covered under the warranty. They made this completely untrue claim without ever seeing the phone or even asking for a picture of the problem. If you prefer to do business with companies that stand behind their products, don't ever buy Tracfone.

If you want a minimal phone with maximum performance, like I do, this one is very good. Holds a charge, clear reception, good volume, great web interaction, acceptable screen resolution, some bells and whistles. Easy set-up and activation. Good camera. Excellent phone for the reasonable price.

My old Samsung TracFone finally died after five years and one battery replacement. I was intending to buy the new Apple Xs phone; but, since I had six months time and 10 hours of service left with TracFone I checked this $79.99 phone out. It's a great phone and much nicer than my old phone. The screen is larger. Wonderful pictures! It's very intuitive. I am able to send messages to several people at the same time and I'm no longer receiving partial messages.

I was looking for a good phone that was big enough to read, yet small enough to fit in my pocket. This phone is both. It's fast, has plenty of storage for what I need, and works well. The only thing I don't like is that it tends to add steps to certain procedures, like deleting text messages. If I want to delete individual messages, it requires one more step than my old phone did. Insignificant, but annoying just the same.

I bought the samsung galaxy J3 orbit. It was on sale $65.00 at best buy. I have been using the phone for about a week and it works great. It has a strong cell phone signal. I have talked to people on the phone and the sound is good and clear. It sounds better then my old tracfone. The phone has a notification alert. If you activate it the phone will beep every few minutes if you miss a call or text message. To activate it go to settings, accessibility, notification reminder. It has an HD screen and it looks good. It has 16gb of internal storage. I installed a 32gb sd card and it works good. The phone supports up to 400gb sd card. It has a rear 8mp camera. The pictures look good. It records 1080p hd video and 720p hd video. It looks good. It has a front facing 5mp camera. It has 4GLTE and it works good. I use the wifi on it at home and in a store. It works great. I was able to transfer my tracfone service to this phone. It took about an hour to transfer. It also has a built in flash light.

It was easy to set up and operate. I can do things on this one that I could not figure out how to do on others. Makes great pictures and keeps a charge a long time.

Haven't had it long enough for a thorough review, soooo. User doesn't do much more than talk and text with it so can't really speak to anything techie about it. It does what he wants it to do and is easy enough to navigate through. Besides the ability to block spam call numbers and take decent pictures; that's pretty much all he wants it to do for him. So far it's fulfilling all its obligations. Longevity will be another test...

Great value for the price. Great photos and large enough screen. Our kids are grown. Mostly need it for basic texting or calling, tho' it does much more. Battery saving features requires less charging than my last phone. Fits my needs well.

Good phone for only $100. The processor is pretty fast and webpages load quickly and scroll smoothly. Some disappointments: 1. Status bar icons are tiny and very hard to read. My previous LG41C Android 4.4 phone was much better, with clearer, larger icons on the status bar. 2. You can't move apps from native phone memory to memory card. I think this is an Android 8.0 "feature". Annoying for memory management. Also, I had to move image files, mp3 files, etc. manually using a computer, native apps for this don't work. 3. Some advanced features appear to be disabled for Tracfone version (Wifi calling & tethering) 2. Android

This phone was easy to set up. I get the unlimited talk and text plan, plus 1 GB a month from Tracfone for $20 + tax. It has a lot of storage room for your favorite apps. I use this phone to text, talk, order online, watch videos, watch TV, watch livestream, Facebook, Zoom meetings, listen to music, alarms, Google info, map directions, taking pictures, and whatever else I am forgetting!

When I purchased this phone, I was eager to replace my aging Majesty Pro by ZTE. At 16 GB of space, and 2 GB of RAM, it was a winner and performed even basic tasks much faster. Also, its camera really proved itself on 2/1/2020 with a good picture of a sunset in Colorado. It rendered it well. I am pleased!

I was a little apprehensive about buying this for my son who's going to be away all summer because you're not able to handle it or use it prior to purchasing it. I almost bought a much more expensive phone but I'm glad I didn't. This phone isn't going to blow your mind, the camera is meh. Probably equivalent to phones 4 years ago and the speakers aren't great but everything else seems great. It's not laggy, the screen is great for the price, the size and battery life seem good. Overall a really fantastic basic smartphone, especially for the cost!

This phone was bought for an 89 year old man. It was easy to set up for him and he's handling it well. He's able to easily call out and receive calls. It's a great Android with Oreo version. It's fast, easy and prefect. The only thing is that it's too thin for him to handle so I had to get him a case. He's learning more about the phone each day. I definitely would recommend this phone to others.

Once I got it set up and fixed it so I didn't have to keep putting in passwords I like it . Its a good size for me. It fits in my pocket just right So far I like the phone . I wish I could figure out how to make the font a bit larger. I have to wear my reading glasses to read the tex. Its harder to see than my old LG phone I think its a great phone for the money I spent

I had to upgrade my old phone and this was TracFone's suggestion. Boy we're they right. The phone functions properly, which is expected. I was able do download all the apps I need. Netflix, Amazon Prime, ESPN and my home cable. The screen is large enough where I am not squinting. I was able to sync my wireless headphones easily. The camera takes great pictures. Overall quite a lot for a reasonable price.

The camera, ease of use, battery life and Best Buy nerd efforts made this inexpensive phone a great buy.

Transfer of info from old phone went great. Like the upgraded camera and extra memory. Nice upgrade from my old Luna pro. Faster and as easy to use

I bought the phone on Black Friday so got it for only $64 instead of the $149 normal price. Since it was a Tracfone I called them direct to have my minutes transferred. Then I couldn't get the phone to work so spoke with 11 different people there and over 5 1/2 hours to have a nice young gal finally figure it out. So... I love Best Buy and the Samsung phone. As for the customer service at Tracfone... not sure.

This is obviously not one of the more expensive Samsung cell phones, but it does the job. Can't speculate on the battery life as I haven't had it that long. Great display resolution. Sound is good, camera is good. Easy to use. Don't care for the method of deleting texts and a couple other of their programming choices, but overall a good phone.

This phone is a nice phone that is relatively inexpensive for the features. It helped that I got it at a steal of a deal at about $79.99 and then had $15 in coupons so you can't beat the price. It has a lot of features and it isnt too big at about 5 inches I believe. An average phone but packed with features.
