This was an impulse buy, being in the need for a tablet, but not wanting to Shell out for the S6. I must say that this is both powerful and beautiful, and even though I frequently use it, I really only charge it once a week. I am pretty satisfied with this.

My wife got this tablet to replace our old tab E. This is quite the upgrade! It was fairly easy to setup and the screen is great looking. it has plenty of memory and the battery life lasts for days on standby. We are using this tablet for light gaming, browsing and video streaming. So far we have no complaints.

I intended to buy the 64-GB version of this tablet when it went on sale during Amazon Prime Day, yet I'm glad I checked out Best Buy first because it sold the 128-GB version for the same price -- where I immediately bought it.
I mainly use this tablet to listen to audiobooks, which I first started listening to on my Kindle Fire 8 until its app went haywire! (A software upgrade finally fixed that.)
I also appreciate the fact that I can listen to Chirp audiobooks on this tablet, which are far less expensive, but Chirp doesn't let you save your audiobooks to your Micro SD card like Audible does.
Although the movies on this tablet are gorgeous, this isn't a multimedia device like Samsung's more expensive tablets, so I'm perfectly happy listening to my books and podcasts on it instead.
On rare occasions when I first boot up this tablet, it won't connect to my WiFi until I take the trouble to reboot it, and then it loads just fine. Yet let me emphasize that this rarely happens.

About five years ago I purchased a Samsung Galaxy tab A 16gig from Best Buy. It was used daily, throughout the day for the entire time. Used for entertainment, research, paying bills, Etc. It has been an awesome tablet. I would still be using it right now had it not been getting very near it's maximum storage capacity. I purchased this 128 gig Galaxy Tab A without having a second thought. I've had it for about a month and it also is proving to be a decent tablet. I would certainly recommend buying this tablet. Yes, I have owned an iPad in the past. It wasn't bad but certainly was not better than a Samsung Android tablet.....NOTE.....There is one thing I would like to see Android adopt on its phones and tablets and it's an apple feature. When you place and hold your finger in an area to precisely place the cursor to insert text into a line, etc, the Android highlights text and gives you the option the copy, paste. While that is useful at times, more often I am just trying to simply precisely place the cursor. Apple products have a magnifying glass appear that actually brings the text closer and larger for more precise movements of the cursor. I have seen it pop up randomly on this Galaxy tablet, but I seem to not know the trick to make it appear when I need it. Additionally, It can be irritating at times when you are trying to precisely place the cursor and the Android system keeps popping in possible replacement words thinking you want to change a word versus just simply place the cursor in a particular spot. You then have to touch somewhere else on the screen within the writing for the suggestions to disappear from the screen allowing you to get back to what you were trying to do from the start. (Precisely place the cursor). Anyway, for what it's worth, there's my two cents.

Bought this for my sister to give her eyes a break from Galaxy phone. Impressed with size, performance and price. Like that it runs latest Samsung SW versions. Screen is very good. We got 128GB version, probably more than needed. Highly recommend based on experience for one month owned.

Liked my old Galaxy (2016) but the 2019 has more memory and is a little smaller though weighs about the same. It also seems faster but my old Galaxy was starting to have problems.
This new one is a little hard to get used to and I didn't find the instructions very helpful.

Snagged this for $180 when my old Nook started showing signs of dementia and for the mileage I've gotten out of this thus far it's been worth every penny. Android's a lot more accessible and functional than Apple's iOS walled garden and as such I've been able to find some nice apps that serve my particular needs, and the 128GB internal storage has let me load the tablet up with all sorts of goodies including the complete runs of several TV shows and books I'd manage to find on my main computer. It's also just the right size to give a good viewing experience without being overtly cumbersome, perfect for loafing in a recliner in the evening for some reading or video viewing. Just make sure to get a good case for it as well - I'd recommend the i-Blason folio case as it includes both an internal screen protector and a hardened book-style cover for additional layers of defense against potential damage.

Samsung really packs in features for the price for this 2019 Tab A: Android 9.0, 3 GB Ram, 128 GB storage, FHD 10.1 inch screen. Only cons for this tablet are Samsung removed the rear camera flash that was on the 2016 version and did not change the speakers on the bottom instead of adding them to both sides, top and bottom for watching movies in landscape mode. Deducted one star as result. Otherwise performs great!

I have always been an iPad user. But as of late, I've been wanting to try Android Products. So I got this Samsung Tablet to pair with a Samsung Cellphone. iPad's have an ease of use to them. But the Samsung is AWESOME. They offer a lot of free apps. The storage size is out of this world. And the Price can not be beat. I can conference with this tablet, send emails, video chat, and the option to add additional storage space had me SOLD.
Yes it takes some learning to use Android, but it is worth it.
i really love using this tablet.

I got this tablet to complement my smartphone and watch videos on a larger screen. The processor is quick, and the apps work well. The only quirk is that at time, the swipe feature doesn't quite work out. It's a minor hassle but I like the overall features. The screen size is a little larger than what I'm used to, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

Have not used it much since I have received it since I am still waiting on the case/cover that goes with it. It is very lightweight and thin. I am almost afraid to handle it until the case/cover come in fearing I might accidentally drop it.
It loads the apps quickly and having a larger screen than my cell phone is a big plus.
It may be me but sometimes the icons will not react to my touch. I have to use the go back or close controls at the bottom of the screen or reboot it to load another app.
The screen layout and look and feel is very similar to my Motorola Android phone.

Love this tablet - size, very clear pictures, easy set- up. I had a Samsung for years and I wanted an update. There are more apps and storage than my old one , but still is a good one - passed it on to my friend who wanted to learn email etc.

Three years ago I bought the 2016 version of this Galaxy Tab A 10.1 w/ 32GB and have used it exclusively as a media player to watch my cable tv app and movies I put on a SD card.
I really didn't need to get this 2019 version(w/128 GB), but at $199, it felt like a steal to upgrade it as a media player.
The audio is better and a little louder than the 2016 version.
This tablet(like any tablet) is not a substitute for a computer screen if you have to do any serious internet use like comparison shopping with lots of tabs and windows. However, I could see myself getting a small bluetooth keyboard w/ case and take it on a trip/vacation as a "mini" laptop to check email and modest internet use.
The price was great and almost bought two!

My 1000+ Cd collection ripped to mp3 at 320hz took more than half the space on my 400gb MicroSD card. This tablet is very quick to display all my albums when I scroll through them. The screen size is good, and with 128gb of space, all my Jukebox and other music apps fit with tons of space left over for anything new that might come along. I've been using Samsung tablets for several years, have giving Samsung tablets as gifts. This one is like all the rest, simple to set up and use, reliable. If you have a large music or movie collection, the MicroSD slot lets you use cards with lots of space.
