Love the large (18 1/4inch) screen tablet. Use it as a TV and stream my favorite shows. Long lasting battery (8 hours). Can move it easily with terrific built in stand. Highly recommend this for bathroom, basement, craft room, kitchen, porch or extra room where cable isn't avaliable.

Even though I do not plan to open these items until the middle of april. I already own the Google chrome.it's better than I thought. I thought I owned all the vidio streaming devices. A Roko, a wii what else was there except duplicate devices even having a blu ray player with apps I had to have it all well this little thing does all that plus stream content from my phone, my tablets even my computer I think I have not tried that for myself yet so l just got a second one for my cottage . The blu ray player is a Samsung the flat screen TV is also a Samsung. I already own both. I'm not reviewing the tv since this is not the same tv as mine now. But the blu ray player Samsung for only $79.00 normally $99.00 oh the chrome cast is 35.00 right now on line with a 10 dollar gift card rebate with the end cost only $25.00 that's a good deal. Back to the blu ray player I know they sync with a Samsung TV I have nevr tried a different tv with ours when I turn on the blu ray player it automatically turns on the TV saves time playing with controls works volume and tv inputs this player is a lot heavyer than the one I got last year still working great. This one has to be built better it has 250 or more apps like Netflix gudu.Com Amazon prime hulu YouTube just to name some when I wanted to upgrade to a blu ray player I only looked at samsung. I use to be a Sony person then after I got my first Samsung TV the picture was so much better than the blu ray player really gave such a superior pitcher I'm comfortable buying it with out seeing it play until we get to the summer cottage besides it will all pack well when we make our annual move from our wi nter home to our summer cottage on the lake I hope this helps make up your mind and you choose samsung you'll be glad you did.

I like this tablet it is easy to use. It's nice and big for watching movies especially for playing games. It stands up nicely, you don't have to hold it because it comes with a stand. When watching movies you can be doing other things because it really is like having a small television.

I bought this for my dad when his Nabi big tab (modified with Nova Launcher to operate like a regular tabe as opposed to one for children) stopped working like it should and kept crushing. The elderly with deteriorated eye sight can really benefit from bigger touch screen tablets. This product, being a Samsung, I am hoping will last longer than the Nabi. I think there is a market for big tablets, it just needs proper marketing.

I had a tough time deciding which tablet to get and I am completely satisfied with my decision. It is an awesome device it's like a mini tv in your hands great for streaming netflix and my cable networks I would highly recommend this tablet it's a must havr

It's not a tablet and its not a flat screen TV. Its a perfect entertainment viewing device. Easily carried from room to room and set up is a breeze. I recommend this unit highly.

Bought this for my Wife and she loves it. She hasn't had any issues with it at all. Galaxy View comes with many apps already on it that she uses which was a big selling point.

Very comfortable to type on, fast, attractive and doesn't take much room on my desk. The large screen is wonderful, too. The FREE Samsung tech support right in Best Buy is amazing; they are knowledgable professional and very patient. So glad I found the Galaxy View and at Best Buy.

I give it a 4 star rating mainly because it should have come with a more powerful processing so you could use computer or laptop application 's as well as it should be more compatible with mobile applications. AND accesories are scarce, making any accessory on the expensive side. Other than that Samsung comes through with another way to get your money, it got mine. I am more biased since I DO NOT LIKE APPLE and all their boujie fanatics, I see them all the time in the apple store looking like a colony of ants. Don't get me wrong, I got my mom an iphone6+, it's just that I like android more, especially Samsung products. The handle would've been nice if you could detach it, but then again how much would that case be? It is great for entertsiment, streaming, casting from my Note 4 is a breeeze, and good conversation starter when people see it. Great for business such as conventions or farmers market. It's pricey, but it's the first of its kind and Samsung did a good job introducing this into market. Seems everything is a hybrid of some sorts. I'm on the old school side, I like my ish big not small like a pom or shitzu. I guess better analogy would be that I rathere drive a Plymouth roadrunner compared to a Toyota prius. I just ain't trendy, but my screen is bigger than yours.

This is what I need: put it aside while cooking, eating, sporting indoors listen to or watch videos (news, movies,study new things). No need to wear uncomfortable earphones. Easy to lift, carry, move from place to place. It can stand itself, saved a big area in front the screen. The battery can support at least 6 hours no need to charge when continously diplay video. Fast charge, about 3 hours from 36%-100%.Cons: sometimes need to restart to speed up when streaming video and many days haven't restart. Only 1G RAM, need to restart to reinitialize/optimaize the occupancy/usage of RAM for multi usage. But it is still a great product. If with appropriate interface parts(OTG interface part for cellphone Micro USB 2.0 port ), can use external wireless keyboard and mouse, then it becomes a standard Computer. Download free WPS office suite(support .docx,doc, .xlsx, xls, .pptx,.ppt), can do office document work.

I wasn't sure how this 18 inch tablet would work. I thought it might be too big to sit on my lap. The one thing that I noticed right away is that it had a wonderful sound. I don't usually watch movies or Netflix on a tablet but this tablet is different. The sound is so good it sounds like surround sound on the TV. The pictures for watching movies is actually fantastic. It took me awhile to find a case for it but I ended up getting a gun case that was just 18 inches, the right size. I bought the tablet for using Google word processing and spreadsheets. It does a great job. I'm very happy with the device. I may buy a second one if I can find one on sale.

I have always wished for a large tablet to stream TV shows and movies on, and this is it!! I can watch while doing daily chores that require me to move from Tom to room with no issue and still see everything happening on the screen. Great media device!!
