Love this galaxy watch pro 5. Use if for step tracking and it is very accurate. I also use the sleep tracking feature where it shows how many hours you slept and details the kind of sleep you had througout the night. Also records snoring! Which is a cool feature. Figuring out how to wear the watch was a little bit confusing in the beginning but watched some youtube video and got it. Now it is very easy to wear. The battery life lasts around 2 days for me. Also i can customize watch so whenever i look at the watch i can see my chosen pictures. I also log my water and i use the timer feature often when i workout and study. The watch design is nice and the screen is big which i like. Super good value. Also use the samsung pay which is convenient when i forgot my wallet.

Had an OG galaxy watch that finally succumbed to a short in the main button, resulting in an unendable reboot loop (even waited like 2 weeks to try charging it again, only for it to start up and start rebooting again). Read up on the newer models, and found that the 5 pro had a better battery life (and was fully waterproof to like what, 5atm?!) than the 6... It's true! This watch is chock full of options, the watch faces do not disappoint, and i charge it maybe twice a week, if that. I like the simplicity and comfort of the standard watch band, and it does not irritate my skin like the Fitbit band did. I do miss the rotating bezel, but wasn't willing to sacrifice battery life for getting the 6 with it.

Wish I could use ECG with non-Samsung

I have pretty thin wrists and even so I think the large size on this watch is fantastic and doesn't look weird (I do have to use the second smallest size on the band though you can replace the band so no biggie there). It's very responsive and the touch feels great and not laggy. It's nice to be able to customize the shortcuts and watch faces and there are a lot of native app integrations. I do find that I miss the crown on the Apple watch, some controls just feel better and cleaner on a physical dial. The white band stains quite easily, like from rubbing your hand next to your jeans as you walk etc. The watch does a great job at detecting workouts and automatically logging them. I use it for sleep tracking as well and the native Samsung app handles that very well. I love that I can do a body comp analysis. Gpay works perfectly as well. Charge lasts over 24 hours even when wearing for sleep tracking. I've had it since launch and no scratches on the watch face yet. Overall, lots of features and very attractive. My only gripe is that Samsung doesn't allow ECG with non-Samsung Android devices which feels totally ridiculous. Seems like they've intentionally hidden that feature behind a wall to incentivize phone sales.

Just Upgraded from a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier. This Samsung Galaxy watch 5 pro has better battery life than the Gear S3. Watch 5 pro lasts 3 days with moderate use before needing a charge. The sensors are improved compared to the Gear S3. Better system software, more storage. Miss the physical rotating bezel of the Gear S3, digital rotating bezel on the Watch 5 pro takes some getting use to. Durability of the Gear S3 watch was really good. I expect the Watch 5 pro titanium build to be excellent. The upgrade was an excellent decision.

So far, I like my first Smartwatch. I used to work in a place where i could not have a cellular device or anything else that transmitted so I purchased this as a retirement gift to myself (not expecting a gold watch from the company). I like being able to take calls and see what emails or texts come in. I also use it to track my sleep and teamed with my Galaxy phone, record my snoring so I know what I put my poor wife through. I like that it works with Ride with GPS but have not tested the navigation--coming soon to a watch on me. As a guy, I find the size fine (see picture) and as an older guy, prefer the size for being able to see the text.

I have owned this line of watches for 7 years now. It has always been a tough watch that I've put though everything. I don't take mine off often and wear it through all activities. Working in a construction environment, I've definitely beat mine up and it's always kept ticking (no pun intended) Samsung did a great job with the band on this model as well. I definitely recommend the geek squad protection as every couple of years the watch can start having some performance slowdowns and the protection allows me to keep it up to date. I would definitely recommend and I will continue buying this brand.

Excellent screen big and clear - battery life is great. I changed bad since I am a female and needed the s/m band 20mm this comes with m/l 20mm band. (changing color) It doesn't feel heavy on my hand and I don't mind having a big watch. Added Spigen bumper since I go to the gym a lot.

Excellent for those always on the go, need quick payment options, exercise regularly, hike, etc. Gives off the traditional watch feel design (more circular compared to apple and fitbit device shapes). Could literally wear it anywhere for whatever occasion. Easy to send text messages, make phone calls, calculate numbers, and much more! Highly recommend to those looking for a near smartwatch. Also, just recently watched the 2023 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event. Not too much has changed between Watch5 and the new Watch6 comming out in August so this model is likely to go on sale to make space for shelves of the new product this summer so watch for any deals if price is an issue.

Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has been an amazing value. The battery life is superior to any other watch I've used. And with Best Buy open box, I got it for over half off. So the value is incredible! The durability is also off the charts. I frequently hit the watch on walls, hit the watch while hiking, ECT. It's been amazing. Zero complaints, only praise.

I recently started to get into fitness, and the watch5 pro has been amazing so far. Not only can it track your precise calorie burn throughout the day, but it can actually tell you how many calories you burn during each specific exercise. I wear it when I run, swim, lift weights, and when I work. I am on my feet all day, and with the longer battery life of the pro, I rarely have to worry about charging it. I 100% recommend it to any android user who's in the market for a smart watch!

Long-Term Review as 1st Smartwatch Owner

Here’s the text with grammatical and spelling corrections: --- I bought the Galaxy Watch 5 as my first smartwatch 14 months ago to see if I'd get any value out of it. The most use I have found has been in checking notifications without grabbing my phone. That seems like a small convenience, but it is really helpful when I need to decide which distraction is important. If I grab my phone, I'm definitely thinking about it and replying. On my wrist, I triage with a quick response or no response. Secondary uses for me are sleep tracking, step counting, heart rate monitoring (on demand), NFC payment, and media control. Those all work well. I hear that heart monitoring is better in newer Galaxy watches, but that's not enough for me to upgrade. I keep the watch in power save mode with the screen off unless I press the side button. Without power save, I'd have to charge it every night. With power save, I charge every 2.5 days. I keep a watch charger by my bed and another at my desk. With any significant use, like web browsing, the battery goes from 100% to 0% in a couple of hours. The watch is not a phone or a tablet and is not useful to operate as one. I have not found a "killer app" that requires me to use this watch versus a cheaper fitness tracker. After a year, I've experienced no noticeable battery life degradation. I chose the GW5 because it was the best-reviewed Wear OS watch under $200. The fact that it still gets software updates ranks it higher for me than some cheaper Amazon finds. It also fits in with my Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy work phone. However, my personal phone is a Google Pixel. There's competition on my phone over whose software manages which tool/service. While that caused me some confusion at first, it wasn't a big deal. I can send data back and forth between the Samsung watch and Google phone with no problem. Because the battery life has not degraded and because I see no specific benefit, I'm sticking with the watch I have until Google makes a watch that's significantly better. Better for me would involve extending the battery life significantly without making the watch bulkier than it is already. What good are useful features of you're too busy conserving battery life to use them? However, from what I understand, 2 to 3 days is normal smartwatch battery life. In my opinion, newer watches will get better but not much better any time soon.

Decided it was time I hopped on the smart watch train. I mostly use the google fitness features rather than Samsung ones because I like the way they track better, but everything has worked exceptionally well. I think that the sleep tracking and exercise tracking features are what I've used the most, and I've been very impressed so far. Battery usually lasts me about 48 hours before I have to charge again, which is plenty for me, and then charges in about an hour so I usually just charge when I'm getting ready in the morning every other day. Overall would recommend for those looking for a fitness tracker with more features.

Upgraded to the 5 pro from the 3. A lot better features and the sleep tracking is pretty accurate which is the biggest reason I upgraded. It also lasts about 3 days on a charge with default settings if you have heart rate monitoring on continuous it lasts a day day and a half. The automatic fitness tracking has oddities but for the most part is accurate thinks you're biking a lot when you're not

I really like the smartwatch 5 pro at least 1,000 times mor than any of the 7 Fitbits that I have owned, and my last 3 were the top of their line!!! FYI Fitbit is now worse because google has taken many things out of them so they can add those things to their pixel watch! Google ruins everything, and duplicates only part-way too many things!!! Why 2 diluted smartwatchs? Why 2 diluted GPS (Waze & Google Maps) map systems? If they put together the best parts of the watches & GPSes they could possibly have the best on the market! Google keeps doing this with everything, and their only interest is to gather personal information to sell to other parties to make even more revenue!!!!! They're not rich enough??? VERY UNFORTUNATELY they are too very well entrenched in too many markets to get away from them completely (including Chrome, Etc)!!! I threw away, and smashed, my 1 year old $300.00 Sense, because the screen was less than desirable, and worse yet the sensors, and monitors, and app was incredibly inaccurate. Try contacting them! Google has no phone assistance or email assistance - just third party support which is another cost!!! You can contact Fitbit on twitter (a crappy platform), and all they will basically tell you is - that's the way it is! Their help is awful!!!! I haven't owned the Samsung smartwatch very long, and still have a learning curve. Having said that the interface & apps are far superior to the Sense, and seems far more accurate! I do not have that much time to keep on top of, and learn, everything I want and need - as I did with my last fitbits the Sense & Ionic. The basics, including Wear App, and more, are Very Good. I just need the time to find whiere to find some things, and which apps are better for individual activities, and other things I want. Otherwise I am extraordinarily happy with my new Samsung smartwatch 5 pro!!!!!!! With using MANY sensors Everyday, and continuously - The battery lasts 3 days (Much longer than any of the top fitbits)!!!!!

This watch pretty much does it all, compared to other brands. The Galaxy Watch 5 is the best bang for your buck, but! To take full advantage of all the features you have to have a Samsung Phone, paired with Samsung Health, is a wonderful health journey and experience. And now it does have the skin temp feature available, but it's only active if you have the watch on during your sleep and enabled in the settings. Battery- Excellent! Lasts me pretty much all day with stress and heart rate measuring continuously Performance- Excellent! Since the new update It works like a charm. Fast and responsive As for comfort and durability, it is very durable. There are times i accidentally hit it against something pretty hard, but it did not scrach or crack! As for comfort, just remember well working out wear it nice and secure and when doing daily things wear it a little loose. The screen is crisp and clear. Just be careful when outside because if it is directly exposed to the sun, it will heat up, and you will need to cool it down before it starts working properly again. I have the GPS model, and GPS is accurate. The only negative thing I guess I can say is that the speaker is not that clear, but hey, it's a watch! This is well worth the money! I highly highly recommend this watch, especially for fitness tracking.

What a great smartwatch! I've gone through several other smart watches that weren't quite as durable as this one. I have broken them got in them wet and even broken the screens. This watch has been very durable and apparently it's even water resistant as I forgot to take it off when getting in the shower. I found this watch on Best Buy online I found it as an open box item and got it for a great price. Couldn't be happier!

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 (44mm Face, 20 mm Standard Strap). Finally, a watch face that looks just right on a big wrist! This watch is amazing! I can't believe all of the options that you have to choose from on this watch. You can track health, exercise, sleep, heart rate, stress, weather, Samsung pay, respond to texts, talk through your watch, listen to music through your watch and so much more! It's very easy to personalize so that you can do what works for you. This watch charges by placing it on your phone (Powershare) or by plugging the charger directly into your phone. The charge lasts about a day, I charge mine while I'm getting ready for work. I'd say just get it, you're going to love it!
