These things did not work with my NOTE 4 for reasons unexplainable by best buy staff, I brought it in and they said they were not sure whwy the program didnt load onto the phone. I was looking forward to using these VR glasses and even bought the note 4 to be able to use them with the glasses. Total bummer only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because I got my full refund back. Maybe it was a sign I shouldnt have been spending money on toys lol

I ended up returning product because it did not meet my criteria on picture quality and the fact you can't charge phone while in use by product.

Very limited in what you can use it for no kind of streaming at all. Words keep getting blurry On the screen. Used it for 4 days and returned it.

Product is great but fogs every time I use it which takes away from the experience.

By far the coolest thing I've ever purchased. Really easy to operate. The games are fun. The 3d movie theater is out of this world. If you want to impress anyone I mean anyone this is it. My grandma wouldn't give it back. She went swimming with the whales for 45 minutes. Can't wait for all the new games that will soon be released. I would recommend having spare batteries to switch out when one gets hot. $4 on ebay. If the goggles are left in a cold room they will fog up when you put them on. Find a way to warm them up. I blow dry them for a sec. Works great. Best thing I've purchased since my note 4 lol.

I had a european version of the note 4 and it didn't work with it. too bad the product description didn't have a footnote about that. was totally excited to try it out then it didn't work in the end.

It's a great idea and works okay, however you can only watch special video and it is very grainy. Come back when you can do HD.

The immersive experience is great! Games are very fun in 3D and movies are like in a theater, minus the annoying people sometimes there too ;) One review called it VHS quality resolution, but that is nowhere near accurate. VHS is 240/320 resolution and interlaced. VHS looks funky bad compared to Gear VR. The Note 4 display is 1440p, but the content is split into two for the lens and 3D design. The actual content is about 540p to 680p, which is FAR FAR better than VHS. If you use the theater "Void" mode, more of the image is shown, hence the 680p. The other theaters result in about 540p. Void cinema mode has three main advantages: 1. More display used for the image 2. Use less battery than the VR theater modes 3. You can orientate the view to if laying down. The others you have to be in some form of sitting angle. If you own a Note 4, like VR and or a movie nut, this device ROCKS!

Amazing device, if you want to jump into VR this is a great start. If you have a Note 4 I think this is a must have gadget. I wouldn't go out and buy a Note 4 just to get this though. But the build quality of the headset is fantastic, I have let many people try this and nobody complains about the comfort of this device. It is all about the experience, a whole new way to consume content. Games are where this device really shines, a very interactive experience. Putting this on and watching a movie in a IMAX style theater is a joy. Pixels are noticeable, most likely because your getting 720p per eye. I say get past that, this is where the overall experience tops. Personally I have noticed the pixels more or less depending on which app I am using. Like I said specifically "noticed". The app store is small right now, but I think the amount of apps you can use is still a good start for at least demoing vr. The store will no doubt grow, I believe that many apps on the Oculus Rift will end over rolling over to this device. Plus this device is getting increased popularity. Overall though if your skeptical of purchasing one, try one first. Best Buy is saying they will be showing it off in their stores, if you can't find someone that has one. Words can not really adequately describe what it is like, this is something you need to see for yourself. Overall though I say it works and it works well. One last thing, buy a bluetooth gamepad, I purchased a Steelseries Free controller for around $30. Works like a charm with the apps and interface.

I love where we're going with VR. Growing up in the 90's I would love to have this. Now I do and it's fantastic! The games are fun, and the immersion videos are great. But the main reason I bought this is so I can watch movies on the Oculus Theater, which is phenomenal. Only hangup I have is that most of my movie collection is in MKV and I can't get the sound working on them. All mo other movies work great. I'm hoping for more games and more MKV support. Other than that, I love this device. Be sure to use this in a cool room so you won't fog up the display. It will happen!

So I've only written one review in my entire life and this piece of technology has seriously prompted me to write my second. It is truly amazing what kind of VR experience this creates-especially from a phone! I can only imagine where this tech will take us in the future and makes me incredibly excited for the Oculus Rift version to be released. This product is clearly meant for those wanting a taste of what VR will be like and obviously isn't intended for everyone. However, if you already own a Note 4......get it!!!
