I got this device not expecting much. After all, it's more or less a polished up, pretty version of the Google Cardboard VR headset, which I had been playing with for a bit. Well... that's like saying playing with a Testor's model rocket kit in your backyard is just as comparable as flying the space shuttle. Holy cow, talk about immersive! I have barely begun to fully explore this new world, and already I'm hopelessly hooked. Best $200 I've EVER spent on tech, hands down. (Let's not go into the $400 I needed to lay down for the Note 4, but that's another story.) This headset is going to be my new favorite way to enjoy my TV shows and movies, and when I want to take a peek at some fully immersive imagery or video, I'm sure I'll be able to find that too. This thing is a keeper, and this tech is going places.

It is very lite on content currently but knowing Samsung they won't leave us hanging. What is there is outstanding. The cinema app is amazing as well as the games. Milk is OK but wish there was better content. Would love to see some more bands. Maybe some barbershop singing. Totaly cool. I downloaded my quartets video from competition and it was amazing in the Oculas Cinema app.

I have been waiting for this device to be sold by Best Buy for a long time! The experience is so amazing. I have played several games and watched movies on the headset and they all work really well. This is a must buy for all note 4 owners.

This product is a must have for all note 4 owners! Every time I put them on I'm blown away! I wish it was easier to purchase the gamepad controller because some of the games require it. I also would like a way to chargey phone while using it, it's a real battery hog!

I bought it the first week it came out and I love it. It's a lot of fun and a charming experience of what the future holds. With the VR, you technically can be anywhere anytime. It's amazing the technology it holds. I had already the Note 4, so this is really a nice add on. It's fun to own if you have the bucks to spare :)

The Gear VR is the best Virtual Reality headset out there at the moment. The only problem is the lack of content. I've read nothing but stellar reviews (from consumers) and decided to bite the bullet and order the VR. It's actually better than I could have imagined. I've been collecting gadgets since I first got my Atari 2600, and this thing has blown me away. The only drawback is that it really is pixelated, but it's so awesome that you forget about that part very quickly. Definitely go try one at Best Buy and see for yourself.

Its a Great Innovation, However its not HD quality and its will make you dizziness after use it for at least 30 min. the other bad thing is to heavy, bulky.

I got the note 4 so I could use this, best decisn of my life! Love the @#$% out of the phone, and love the gear vr even more, there is enough content available now to keep you busy for a long time! Get this! U won't regret it!

Hands down the best portable virtual reality to date. The head tracking is spot on and the oculus store provides hours of fun. If you're interested at all in the upcoming virtual reality craze skip the cardboard and get this. You won't be disappointed.

I love my gadgets and have probably never once before written a review. This product is worth every dollar! I picked it up today and can't put it down! The cinema mode is stunning. Ive played a couple of the games that I downloaded (free) from the store and they are so much fun. It really helps sitting in an office chair that spins freely. lol

If you have the note 4 you should give this a try! I have personally enjoyed the fully 3-D games as well as loading on my own movies. I hope for a netflix app in the future. I have shared this item with over 50 family and friends and its almost as fun to see their reaction as it is to use the device. Not as detailed as I was hoping for but it is the best I have seen. Some games have made me a bit nautious and the front is a bit heavy due to using the phone as the screen. All small things but doesn't take away from the experience.

I felt like a kid showing off a Christmas toy to all my friends. This is a must have. Go watch every youtube video on Samsung VR, and reviewers will tell you the same thing. It is amazing. You don't need a controller, but I recommend getting one for games. For the best experience, get good head phones. You will love it.

The price is a little high, but this is an excellent entry into seeing what VR has to offer. A major step-up from a google cardboard. A definite recommendation to Note 4 owners, with a little extra cash and the curiosity for new Tech.

This is real virtual reality. It's going to make selling my Note 4 impossible now, I LOVE this! This gives you 360 full degrees of reality. Look up and see the sky, look behind you and it changes. It's like you're there. You can also watch personal movies. I watched a concert performance I recorded and it was like being there again. I can't believe these things aren't selling out or selling for more. My phone's primary function is no longer communicating, it's VR!

this is a great Samsung vr picture is nice not the best but what can u get when Ur looking that close to a screen ,technology is like ur in 2025 blew me up with what they can do these days like it was magic .

Great but seems to shut down because the device overheats in the first 30 minuets and this is the 2nd device ive got from best buy. I took the first one back because of the overheat issue.

I purchased this because of the drop in price and the glowing reviews. My initial reaction was that it was very impressive...for about 15 minutes. I soon got an "overheating" message which brought the experience to an end about halfway through my third video. I soon remembered that this was one of the few negatives in the reviews I read about the product that the reviewer said they solved by removing the plastic cover of the Gear VR. That resolved absolutely nothing. Hopefully this problem will be resolved in newer versions of the product but I don't intend to change phones any time soon. I'm considering sending this one back which is a shame because this is very entertaining for the brief period of time that it works.
