I purchased this new Samsung 2-in-1 to replace a Samsung Ativ Notebook which I really liked. The addition of the included S-pen has made this a family favorite for my boys to color and learn to write with. It is very fast and handles light gaming well.

Love this computer, just not used to the whole windows ecosystem. And the speakers need work, cant even hear them with a small ac unit going in the back ground. But hey thats a small price to pay. I usually just use my galaxy buds I dont even try to watch content with the speakers. Everything works smoothly as it should for a thousand bucks. Nice LED display but could be better. I feel like there is white around the corners borders when watching dark content. But hey its a LED 1080p dislay. Cant really complain to to much. Feels sturdy but yet fragile. In my opinion I feel you should most definitely get the insurance on the device. Looks as if one drop and that all it would take. I do love this laptop despite all its negatives. Just wanted to give you all my honest opinions, hopefully this helps.

I needed a new mobile computing device and spent a couple of months researching the possibilities. This 2 in 1 is fast, light and powerful. Add in the additional $150 Back to School discount and you've got a winner.

Overall good laptop, maybe a bit expensive though. Key flaw is the power switch to the side leads to accidental turning off and the power cord input is a bit weak. Nothing major. Runs great/fast, looks nice.

Bought to replace my grandson's older laptop. He is college bound this Sept 2018 and we set it up together. He loves it. I liked it too and am thinking of buying one for me. Light, fast, great screen quality.

Needed a new laptop for personal and business use. This computer gave me more than what I was looking for; automatically populated my Outlook folders based on the email address, great graphics that operate off their own memory so other programs are not affected. Still learning all of the features but am very happy with the unit so far. Love the facial recognition to log in and it is lightweight considering it is 15.6" screen, very fluid transition into tablet mode as well.

I have had many laptops. By far Samsung laptops are the best. I’m a power user and never had any bad experiences with the laptop. It’s very light in weight and performs exceptionally. Worth every penny!

Love this computer. This laptop replaced a Dell that I bought 2 years ago that has virtually sat unused for the entire 2 years because it was such a lousy, slow computer. Well, this is anything but slow. It is faster than my desk top and the sceen resolution is better than my desktop as well. Absolutely love the computer. Only issue is that the screen has acquired a small crack in the upper left corner. I can't imagine what could have caused this, I use laptops at work all day long and I have never treated them gingerly , and have never had a screen crack, break, shatter, etc. So this is disappointing. Otherwise a great laptop.

Love the Style. Touch screen. Features are amazing. Samsung love great for designing and running a home based business and for college. However I am still struggling to set up webcam. This is why I give it 4 stars as it's not easy.

I use this laptop on a daily basis and it has a beautiful screen and a good touchpad. This is probably the best touchpad I have seen on a Windows laptop. The keyboard has decent travel on the keys. Windows Hello facial recognition works most of the times and sometimes gets stuck. This is quite a good laptop for productivity and doesnt compromise anywhere. The battery life is good and I get around 5 hours on a single charge. The laptop is light. Samsung has some nifty features like battery saving and privacy guard screen.

Great compromise between the quality of MS Surface, and the price & features of a Dell.
Pros + & Cons -
+++++Comfortable Keyboard, well back-lit, and translucent letters.
------Returned first computer because the "Z" key got stuck.
+++++Beautiful FHD Screen.
+++++Tight keyboard layout with navigation column on right end.
+Had already returned a Dell for a jiggly touch-mouse.
Repurchased the same Samsung. The moral being buy from a local retailer you can walk in for an exchange.
---Gets uncomfortably warm sometimes above the Function keys.
+Warm your lap in winter?
-I miss DVD drives
+Lightweight
----Would have paid for a model with more memory, but it's not available.
--Samsung has started soldering parts together instead of using screws, so do-it-yourself repair and upgrade is impossible unless you know how to solder. Boo!
+++++Love the integrated e-pen. Silly, but if I you always tuck it in the deck, you will never lose it.

I needed a Laptop for school (Pharmacy major) that was able to run everything I needed and preferably quickly. This laptop not only can do all of that, but with the addition of the built in stylus I never have to fear about misplacing it in my room. The battery is pretty good, but occasionally when 3 or 4 different programs are being run at the same time (ex Spotify, excel, eBook and 2 chrome tabs) the battery takes a pretty major nose dive. However, the addition of a usb type C port for the use of a portable charger is a great feature!

This laptop feels great looks great. The screen is beautiful. The keys are very nice easy to type on. But then it goes really south meaning this laptop gets so hot your legs feel like they are burning. And that happened when just typing out emails and watching YouTube.
Couldn’t imagine how much hotter it would get if really pushing the machine. Went back and did more Research and there it was laptop gets hot issues with screen getting green spots. Broke my heart but I took it back. Sure wish Samsung could deliver the perfect unit. And I have also owned the Notebook 7 real bad battery life. Notebook 9 finger print reader had to many issues and laptop felt cheap. And it wasn’t. Good luck.

Highly Dissatisfied, Would Not Purchase Again

My husband and I purchased two of these units a year and a half ago to replace our aging MacBooks. He always does thorough research into any major purchase and thought that (based on the stellar reviews) these Samsung units would be an excellent option. Unfortunately, we were wrong. While the flip/tablet feature is nice, that's really the only redeeming quality of this laptop. The speakers are horrible and we have to connect to a Bluetooth set just to hear playback from a movie. The placement of the on/off switch on the right-hand side is not ideal because you constantly hit it by accident. Lastly, after only a year of use both units started having issues with scrolling where the touchpad would not register, would scroll too fast, or not at all. One unit does it intermittently but the other does it all the time. We even took it in to Geek Squad for troubleshooting and they were less than helpful. Now, the one unit is giving us the "blue screen of death"...after only a year and half of use. Buyer beware!

Overall, I think it's a 4-star laptop and unique. It could be the perfect laptop depending on your needs. It's a good mix of performance, weight, portability, with excellent battery life. The 15-inch model that I purchased is 3.79 pound which might be a little heavy to enjoy in tablet mode casually.
Samsung's Notebook 9 Pro enhances its mainstream design with three notable features: a 360-degree hinge, a Radeon 540 discrete GPU, and the S-Pen stylus.
Sound is not very loud coming from speaker.

I bought this laptop to replace my 4 year old HP notebook. I was looking for something that was lightweight but had modern hardware that will not become obsolete within a year or so. I use this laptop for general day to day activities, so the i7 processor and 16GB of ram are enough for me to get all of my activities done without causing any lag. The laptop rotates all the way and can become a tablet for on the go projects. The touchscreen feature is nice to use when in tablet mode.

I am very pleased with this laptop. It performs well with Lightroom and Photoshop, sleeps without issue. The only quirks are the power button is protruding so you can hit it accidentally, though by default it just sleeps. There is some light bleed on the edges, which isn't an issue for me. The battery is ok, could be longer lasting. I took another advice and put grip dots underneath since it is very smooth and can slip on some surfaces. I love the s-pen and tablet switching ability.
