Works as well as I could expect. You get what you pay for. It is worth the money.

I bought this player mainly/solely to use to stream Netflix to my tv. I connect it and played a dvd. The image was amazing. Then I tried to connect Netflix. I had to update all of the applications for streaming, no big deal, but time consuming. Then I went to Netflix and entered my activation code. The message came up that the code had expired. I tried this several times with no success before contacting Netflix. Customer service was great, they had me reset connections and tried to assist to no avail. They apologized and gave me Samsungs service phone number. Before I contacted them I did a search on the internet and discovered that this seems to be a universal issue with this unit. I'll be taking it back today.

This unit is a refurb. So I knew it would not be perfect. There are some scuffs, nothing bad or offensive. works great. the setup is so much better, moe intuitive, than my other BluRay player by LG, which I do enjoy. I think at some point, you need to be happy it plays DVD's and plays them well. the bells and whistles are fluff for a fe more bucks. My tv is a Smart TV, so the wifi was for firmware update ease, nothing more. This was a good purchse where I did not need to break the bank. Shipped fast, and I am happy. this is agreat player, do not worry about the other few previous reviews that are less helpful, and more or less written out of their own frustration or lack of perspective. This is a gret purchase.

I ordered this player twice online. The first one arrived was a joke! It had broken disc door, two tiny screws hanging in the sealed plastic bag, shake it and it sounds like a Maraca! :D Returned the first one with the bag still sealed. The second one is really good! It does what ever it stated. My internet is little slow, the youbube will hang after 2-3 videos. But for the price its great. Remote is very good very sensitive. Already recommended this to my friend.

I received this Blu-ray player as part of the "deal of the day" it didn't work so I got Best Buy to send me a replacement, the new one also didn't work. Clearly they don't actually check to see if these devices work before they send them out again.

I set it up in minutes. I am NOT the most tech savey person. I am so happy. Got it mainly to view Netflix, but it provides so much more. I can see photos, view YouTube, Hulu, check e-mail right on my 42" TV!! We're very VERY happy. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a wireless blu-ray - Samsung is awsome for just about everything is this is no exception. I couldn't help but see the other reviews that were not favorable and so even though I rarely write reviews, I felt it was the right thing to do since this was such a great purchase for us. If the unit didn't work for others, they must have set it up wrong, although I'm not sure how you could - it was so very simple!

I wonder if Best Buy actually ensures that items are working and just labels them as refurbished. Trying to return to get a like item was a nightmare. Decided to return and not purchase again.
