60hz
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The key issue with this monitor is that its only 60hz so moving windows around or playing games cause it to fragment and flicker. Also this unit does not have a VESA standard mount so you cannot hang it. If this was 120HZ and had a VESA I would have bought three of them for my MacPro.

Good monitor

I had a 2 monitor mount that I couldn't use because the mounting holes on Samsung are so off.

Monitor color display was unsatisfactory

However, I had it next to an LG UHD 27UD69P monitor, which blew the Samesung display totally out of the water. The skin tones of the Samsung could never be made to look realistic. The colors were not distinct and the images never looked clean. I finally had to return the Samsung and replace it with the LG, which is great. This is an older Samsung model and they gave a discount on it. In my opinion, they should pull the line entirely. It works, but it just doesn't measure up to what's available. I bought it without seeing it, as Samsung did not have it on demo. I was going by the Samsung name, figuring it would be high quality.

Satisfactory Monitor

Too small

I like Samsung and have owned several of their televisions, including my current 65" number. I ended up with a 32" 2160P Samsung monitor that's just the right size.

I had to unplug and let it set for 60 seconds to reset everything. There is not enough information in the box or on Samsung's website when you have problems.

Good size 4K monitor

Not impressed with quality control

Got a cloth to wipe it only to realize it was behind the screen. Not sure what it was but it went back in the box and back to the store. Poor quality control.

Remote control is not friendly to use

Decent for price

Maybe because I was comparing to my iMac which has the most amazing colors. The colors and text sharpness is where this lacks. I don't think we are 4K for 500$ yet.

Contrast and saturation suffer and as a TN LCD (as opposed to an IPS) the image quality when viewed off center. Possibly a good cheap gaming 4K.

An okay monitor

Good picture, horrible noise

Unfortunately, the high-pitched hum that changes tone depending on the colors being displayed on the screen will drive you insane. If you're gaming with the volume up or constantly playing music you may not notice but if you're trying to get some work done in quiet it will give you a headache. Wish I had noticed this early enough to return it. Bottom line, a +$300 monitor shouldn't make noise like this, look elsewhere.
