This item came with was missing parts and bad condition. It was an open box item but ON THE LABEL it said all parts there and in excellent condition. ALL FALSE. THIS IS WHY YOU ARE LOSING PEOPLE TO AMAZON!

I would not purchase this product again. I spend a considerable amount of money to purchase a monitor to only have it last just 18 months. I would not purchase a samsung monitor again

With the current selection of monitors, you get what you pay for. Many of the stand alone monitors in the computing department at Best Buy have a resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is fine for small screens, but on the larger 22+ inch screens, text looks grainy. It is difficult to tell how grainy until I brought one of the dell monitors home and set it up. I returned this monitor. This monitor has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and apparently has another feature that renders both text and graphics crisp, which is easier on the eyes. This is important as I use my computer every day, sometimes for eight or more hours. The size of the monitor takes some getting used to and I am still learning about all of its amazing features and settings. One feature it does not have is touch screen, but that would be useless anyway as the monitor is placed out of arms reach. To touch the screen, I would have to lean, which would put extra load on my low back over a sustained period of time. Simply bad ergonomics. It also does not come with speakers, which is no problem because small speakers can be purchased separately.

Horrible screen "4K". My 4 yr old 4k TV looks way better sadly. Not impressed

I am not sure if it was an issue with the unit I received but the picture was terrible

This is a horrible monitor for gaming on the xbox one X ! I recommend a asus 28in 4k

I used the monitor for my ps4 on my desk and it worked fine for a few months but now it will no longer power on.

I bought this monitor for mostly gaming on with my purchases of the Xbox One S and its 4k up-scaling capabilities. However I was very disappointed when I realized upon setting up the 4k through the console that this monitor does not support many of the 4k functions that the Xbox One S provides. I knew that it wasn't going to support HDR ahead of time, but it only supports 4k at 60hz using the HDMI 1 port. That means that many video content running in different bit rates would not be supported. Also that many of the titles would not be up-scaled correctly. On Samsung 4k TVs there is an option in the settings that allows these bit rates to function correctly, but I wasn't able to find them on this device. Besides the fact that the monitor is not Xbox One S friendly that's not to say this monitor isn't very good. Using it on the PC it was fantastic, I only wanted to warn Xbox One S users that this isn't the best option for getting all the green check marks fulfilled on your console (Xbox One S users will understand this). Currently to the best of my knowledge there are no monitors on the marked that are reasonably priced that will work well with your console. I recommend purchasing a 4k TV with HDR, and using the proper settings in your TV settings to allow all the possible 4k bit rates.

First of all, I love the UHD resolution. Pros: - Resolution is great - Nice and bright - Sturdy Stand - Came right up with Windows 8.1 Cons: - Colors are a bit funky compared to my color corrected monitor, even after correcting - The single control on the back is a pain to reach and sometimes you need to press it several times to get it to respond. - After about 5 months, a whole row of pixels have gone haywire. Since it is such high resolution, it's a tiny line, but it is a line on the monitor all the same. Summary: I like the resolution, but I think it should have lasted longer before I started showing an anomaly on the screen. I'm not really sure I'd recommend this to a friend, but maybe...

could not use this product because the conections were covered by the product plastic on the back, had to return it.

The monitor just stopped working after two years. The warranty is only one year.

Colors just are not right! played with it for hours still no good.

I purchased this monitor after returning a piece of garbage 27" 2K 144hz Dell. (Check out my review on that junker) First the negatives, which seem to actually be a standard these days. One is it's only a 60hz panel. The other is it's Freesync (not G-sync), which favors the AMD line of video cards. However, Nvidia video cards will still work just fine without any image tearing problems. Now on to the positives, and there are plenty of these. The monitor has many viewing adjustment features available to help get the image quality just right for you. From the standard brightness/contrast, an image sharpening adjustment, to an adjustment for selecting your viewing angle. The panel can be adjusted to be extremely bright (if needed), has a wide contrast range, images are very clear and crisp, and the 4K images for viewing and gaming is very sharp. I could also not detect any "bloom" at the corners or sides of the panel. This is a great monitor.

I've been using the Samsung 4K monitor for about 5 months now. It is connected to a 2013 13" MacBook Pro Retina via HDMI cable. Installation & connection was a non-event. I plugged it in an it worked immediately. Picture quality is excellent. I have not noticed any display time lag.

This monitor is a very great display for the price. The only thing I can really complain about it the stand. It's not adjustable and it feels very flimsy. You can easy move the display around with one finger, not very sturdy. Other than that, it's amazing 4k right in your face.

I picked this monitor up on black Friday for $250. What a deal!!! I cannot get over how good this monitor looks. SUPER bright and really sharp. Looking at photos and gopro videos is incredible. Gaming is freaking great. I only have a 1060, but this monitor is amazing for gaming. VERY happy with this purchase!!! Would definitely recommend especially if you can get a good deal on it. If I had to come up with a con, it would definitely be the stand. Very wobbly.... Not that that's a big deal. Just don't touch it. Also, the front of the stand is silver. It really pops against the black bezel and the black monitor stand this monitor is sitting on. Annoying, but does not take a way from the awesomeness of this monitor.

Best monitor I found to set up as a second monitor with my 27" iMac. I tried 2 other monitors (an ACER and LG) before this one and nothing came close to this monitor's quality. The picture quality is excellent and very easy on the eyes. The single toggle button is well located and makes personal adjustments easy. While it may be a TN monitor it has Samsung's PLS which improves the brightness and contrast factors from other TN monitors... good job Samsung! Definitely recommend this monitor... it's worth the price especially with Best Buy competitor price matching!

Just upgraded from a 27" 1080p IPS monitor. Given that this uses a TN panel i was expecting poorer colors and viewing angle. To my surprise the colors are vibrant and accurate, after some calibration. The viewing angle also is pretty good, but not as good as IPS panels. I don't really care as long as it looks good with me sitting in front of it, which it does. Also this monitor has a great response time 1 ms which is great for gaming. The design is also great and is not as boring as some of the other panels.. There are some limitations to 4k inherent to windows and programs not scaling effectively, that's just a fact of life unless you want to run at 100% scale and use a magnifying glass to see your screen. 28" is too small to use without scaling. You may be able to get away with it on a 32" 4K monitor but i haven't tried. Overall, after a week of using this for desktop apps and gaming in windows 10.1 i am extremely satisfied.

Yep, as others have said, the stand is embarrassing for a company like Samsung. This stand deserves to be on some knock off brand being sold out of the back of a truck. The on screen menu controls are on the BACK of the monitor in a "wheel" configuration. Yes, let's make it as awkward as humanly possible. No VESA. The only reason I bought this is that it was in stock at a local Best Buy and I had a couple hundred dollars in reward points to blow. Otherwise, I probably would have bought something else online. Kinda wish I had the DELL now with the pivot stand. Picture quality is good. But other than that, not much else to brag about. Will look good on my desk.
