I did have to upgrade my video card so that the 4k resolution could be attained. So if you have an old video card in your computer, you should know that your won't be able to realize the full potential of this monitor. I upgraded to a top-of-the-line video card.

First and foremost this is a TN panel. That means it has pretty bad viewing angles and colors are not nearly as impressive as an IPS display. One thing that really bugged me about this panel is the inability to get the colors close to right. No matter what you do, the colors are just off. In addition to that, the menu for the OSD is pretty horrible. There are options in there (which I can't remember the name of at the moment) that lock you out of colors at all and just oversaturate the entire display. This panel is freesync capable.... if you can find the option in the menus. For those looking, its under the Info/About section of the OSD. I actually found this by accident. That said, it doesn't work that great. The range is pretty limited and you would need a really powerful GPU to keep the panel inside of the range regardless (40-60). Once it is out of the range, it becomes very choppy as it transitions to normal syncing.

Excellent Screen - Not for Gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked the screen but it is not ideal for gaming unless you are running lower graphic settings, non-AAA games or have the new Titan GPU/Dual GTX 1080s. I ended up getting a Dell Ultrawide 34 from Best Buy which is fantastic for gaming with a single GTX 1080 plus has a number of ports that make a dock/monitor. If you plan on using this for at home office applications you will be very pleased.

Does not do 4k on HDMI 1 for some reason . Control are easy and has a lot of options and pre-loaded setting options . Very small foot print power cable . The monitor is kind of light for the size . No adjustments though .

Do not let the initial picture turn you away, it’s most likely just poorly calibrated.
