My previous Samsung monitor would sleep when the desktop system went into standby, which it would do after a configurable period of inactivity. This new monitor just goes into source search mode, so when I see it flashing away I have to manually power it off. Very annoying and inconvenient. Also pretty dumb for a modern monitor.
