Awesome for the money, size, and feature

I have had this for almost a week. And i would have to say i would prefer this over a ipod any day. I love the low price of this small combat mp3 player. I thought what you would thought. "How do you see on it?" Well im surprised to say the screen is insanely clear. Im near sited, which means i cant see far away, and i see the words and letters fine. Nice and sharp. It also comes with a built in radio which is one reason i like cause i always for get what music i know and like. Not only that, you can add memory. The radio and add on memory is why i think it beats the ipod. That and the size. Down side is, i can only get maybe 4-5 stations. Over all this is a good product. I would recommend it to any one.

So easy a 5 year old can use it

This is the 2nd of 2 Clips we have bought. First one was for our 8 year old daughter (blue one) and then this one for our 5 year old daughter. The 5 year old has no problem adjusting the volume, changing between mp3's, or switching between channels with the FM Tuner. The price makes this a much easier purchase for younger children (IMO). 4gb is more then enough space for the music they like, and the built in FM Tuner is really good. Our girls actually use it more then listening to mp3's. Reception is not the best but they get a few of the stations that they want to listen to. It was very easy to plug into the pc and simply drag and drop mp3's. The display is small but easily readable. Both of our girls really enjoy their Clips.

My first MP3 player. Didn't take long to figure out how to load it. A little longer to grasp how to use it. No guidebook for that and I am a noob. I am impressed with the battery life and its tininess. I liked that the earbuds that don't go into my ears. They wouldn't stay in while running but worked fine sitting on a Greyhound. For me, 4g was plenty of room for tunes and one book.

My 3rd Sansa Clip this year!

I've purchased 3 of these in the past year. One for myself, one for my fiance (because he liked mine so much), then another for myself after I dropped mine in the washing machine (they're not waterproof!). I love how small these are, not bulky like most mp3 players. Battery life is good too; although I wish there was an auto-shutoff because I've forgotten to turn mine off before and it just plays until the battery dies.

    TOO COOL

Just pulling it out of the box, I find that it already comes loaded with six songs (Which was awesome to me) I could automatically use it without even glancing at the instruction booklet (Large, lit, moving icons that even if they were in a different language I could understand what it meant) I was immediately ableto get to the FM radio...The headphones that come with it give very very nice sound. Its CLIPPABLE! Which means I can use it while running on the track at school; This is an awesome gift for a teen music lover with its compact style. You know what they say; The best things come in small packages! It also came charged in the package, so I was able to open it up and listen to it immediately. I. LOVE. IT.

Great Mp3 player for the money.

Bought this when you got a Slotradio card for free with player purchase. Lightweight and bulit in clip is great for clipping on clothes, belt, pocket, etc. Have had it for almost a month and still works great. Will work with other earphones, doesn't have to be special ones, like the fruity competitor. Great value for the money, at this point would consider buying a Sansa player again when upgrading.

Big Bang little Pkg, Napster / Rhapsody / Audible

    Posted .

WOW, I have had many mp3, what sets this little thing apart from the others is all the features in one super small pkg, (non-DRM) music or Play-for-Sure Music subscription compatible (Napster / Rhapsody), Audible books, Podcast, FM Radio, Voice Recorder, 12 to 15 hr run time, incredible SNR output (no white noise amp hiss), 5 band EQ, db padding songs, with a micro-SD that does integrate it self with above features, maxs out at 20G with 16G card. Using this with 192 bit rips or higher like FLAC music and Ultimate Ears or Etymotic earphones and you have audiophile quality for your metro commute. I clip it on my dress shirt or tie and use tactical touch to control unit. Screen is very bright (small text not for bad eyes, but very readable), this is my daily commuter unit, with the FUSE in my back-pack for Pictures or Movies. (BTW if your really into watching movies look at Sony S or X series but no Audible, Zune HD (only MS subscription or non-DRM but best of bread music cross discovery software), or iPod Touch (no subscription music, but best Apps). One last note except for a quick start guide there is no full manual included in the box, but you can download the FULL manual from sandisk<dot>com/wug and is a must get / read for new users to get the most out of your new Sansa.

I purchased this in Purple, one of my favorite colors. I read and reread the instructions; however, they did not answer any questions I had. Went to their website and could not get any resolution. All I wanted was a compact device to download my music so I would be motivated to walk more. I was able to download one song and nothing else. I am not a happy camper. At this time, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

    Great product, but...

Bought this today and was very excited about the product. The 4GB of memory and micro SD expansion slot are amazing, especially at this price. Very easy to set up and charges quick via USB. However, my main reason for purchasing this device was to use it in my new car which has a USB hookup. The error message I got was something along the lines of "This device does not support syncing (sp?) of protected media files." I'm reluctantly returning what could have been an awesome product.

Avoid this MP3 Player like the Plague

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I received my TINY Sandisk player recently and was amazed at how very small it is. It is probably half the size of an average person's palm. Once I charged the player and uploaded a few songs on it, I noted that the music was playing only portions of the songs on the player. I checked my computer and noted the songs were playing completely through on the computer. The player had terrible sound quality, plus the ear buds were uncomfortable. I recommend you avoid this mp3 player and pay a little more to get something of quality that plays and sounds better!

    Forget IPOD

I have been an IPOD owner for many years but decided to get the SANDISK as a gift following the salesperson's recommendation. What a wonderful delightful product. The qualty sound is superb from standard earphones that are much better than the ones issued by IPOD. Operation is simple similar to IPOD. It is small, neat and lightweight and comes with a convenient clip for attachment to your belt etc. The screen size maybe a bit too small but one does get used to it. All in all a better VALUE than IPOD if shopping on a budget.

    Unexpectedly Useful

Surprisingly useful. I use both the FM tuner and MP3 player routinely. Works well with both .mp3 and .wmv files. I dropped it a couple of times, and I cracked the faceplate. Fortunately, the SanDisk Sansa Clip still works.

    TERRIBLE

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have bought two of these in the past 2 months and they both are terrible. The earphone connection to the player you have to fiddle with to be able to hear. And when you work out and are moving around it looses its connection to what you are listening to. The menus are not easy to figure out either to switch from fm radio to something else. I DO NOT suggest anyone but one of these.

I went with the Sandisk reputation and bought this as a replacement for my iPod shuffle. Less than a month later and the clip is broken, despite the fact that is has never been abused. Hopefully for the rest of the buyers/owners this is an isolated problem, as the company has still not responded to my warranty request.
