I modified (Sanus) speaker bracket supplied, to securely hold Sonos Speaker, with a "Simpson" construction bracket. RE: Sonos Speaker (Model # PLAY1US1BLK) no female insert on speaker to securely attach, secure, and connect Sonos Speaker to Sanus Stand. Please don't miss misconstrued my review, Sanus Speaker Strands are excellent ! The Sonos Research and Development Dept., dropped the ball on this model speaker, with no female insert !!! The color paint on the Sanus stand matched the white color of the Sonos speaker perfectly. Assembly was simple using only a Phillips screwdriver. Get one stand or get two if you need them. They are very functional and elegant.
