Fantastic mount for windshield

My previous car mount attached to the dashboard, so there was a lot of sticky residue and it was hard to clean. This mount can attach to your windshield and doesn't leave any marks behind. It also doubles as a charger and was one of the reasons I bought it.

The charging mount doesn’t charge, I’ve tried everything and I thought it was an issue with my phone or car, but it definitely is not. No longer can return it either.

Dash charger

So far, sticks to the dash very well. The magnet on the back of my phone came off, when the phone got warm, while charging, and melted the adhesive. I have added double-sided tape, and for now it seems to be holding. The charger works great. It could use an extended arm, to bring the phone closer to the driver.

Phone doesn't stay attached once you start driving

Once you start driving your phone falls off the mount. If you don't actually move the mount works fine.

We can also offer you a complimentary mounting disc which will provide an improved smooth, flat surface for the StickGrip suction cup base to adhere to, should the below steps not resolve your concerns. You can wash the StickGrip suction cup with warm water and a little bit of liquid soap, such as hand soap or dish soap. Clean and knead the material with your fingers when washing the suction cup, rinse it completely and then let it air dry. This will oftentimes help rejuvenate the adhesive property and refresh StickGrip suction cup base. Preparation of the surface area and the Scosche product is vital for successful installation.
Use the included cleansing wipe to clean the area of the dashboard or windshield where you wish to secure the MagicMount. Ensure the cleaned area is dry, then with the lever in the upright position firmly hold down the base of the mount onto the desired location, and press down the lever to lock the suction cup base into place. It is recommended to find the flattest, smoothest area in your car that would best suit your needs. Sharp or rounded edges may not be optimal mounting locations for the MagicMount. If further troubleshooting, warranty assistance or a complimentary mounting disc is needed please email our Customer Service Team with a link to this review, send us a message via our online chat service or give us a call at 800 363 4490 extension 1, and we will arrange a swift resolution to your experience.

It can’t hold my iphone 13 pro with magsafe case coz the edge (which is raised)of the magsafe case protecting the cameras will overlap with the scoche’s plate, so it wont really lock in with the magsafe case. So this is not suitable for iphone 13 with magsafe case.
