Puts at least a temporary stop to Rule Number One in computers: There's never enough. So much to store, and this drive holds it all with a gratifying amount of room to spare

Easy to install. Western Digital is the main reason I purchased this product. Great product at a great Best Buy Price.

Bought this at Best Buy about a month ago. Paid $159.99 at the time, and that price was surprisingly a little better actually than the major online retailers for the boxed retail version of that drive (compared to Newegg and Amazon). As far as the drive goes. It's going strong as a media drive in by newly built PC. 4TB is a lot of space and was easy to install. However, since this is a hard drive, you actually want to hear the reviews of someone has owned it for a number of years as to get a better idea of long term reliability (I was prompted by an email from Best Buy to write this review now).

Needed to expand a RAID. These drives are solid. If you are looking for a drive, you can't go wrong with Seagate.

Looking for a hard drive and not just any hard drive? Well either way look no further you've found both! It's a hard drive and its specifically 4gb! Were you also in the market for a tea bag sized silica packet? Too bad! This ones slightly smaller.

It took me less that 15 mins to have the pc apart, the old out, the new in, and back together loading windows!!

Bought to replace failing drive. Easy install. Reformatted for Mac. Running smoothly. Use for video editing.

Very reasonable price for quite a large hard drive which is used for data only. I have not had any problem with Seagate drives, so this one went on sale and I thought I would stock up and I am not unhappy. It works fine with Windows 10 and am able to backup a lot of data onto it.

I'm using 6 of these in a server to store my video collection. I've been running some of them for over a year now and never had any problems.

This was the only way to make Windows 10 work, it crashed and ruined my old hard drives. These hard drives are fast and easy to install.

Good for storage, not particularly fast, actually on slower side in terms of transfer speed. Long term reliability is concern as this replaced one of failing HDD which was also made by Seagate and that one lasted 3 years.

Got this drive to move up from a 2TB used to store seasons of TV shows on a media server. Always had great luck with Seagate drives.

I bought this when the previous western digital drive I bought didn't work. It works as advertised no complaints

I called Best Buy located on 1717 Harrison St, SF, CA and asked if they had a 4TB Western Digital Black Internal Harddrive and the rep said they had 30+. I walked from Civic Center to the Mission in order to purchase this and when I got there, the rep said they didn't have any in stock. When I told them that I had just spoken to someone not even 30 mins ago asking if they had it in stock, rep was rude and said it wasn't him so therefore wasn't his problem. Spoke to another rep and they were equally as rude. Had to settle for a product I did not want.

Great to see the 4TB drives coming down in price. Good performance and lots of space for those big media files.

These Seagate drives are very reliable. I've not had one fail yet and I have 12 in operation as we speak.

I've had my share of failed seagate drives in the past, and there have been numerous. However for the price and with the warranty I hope that seagate changes my mind in the future.

I use this drive as part of my NAs system, and it has worked great.
