I've always had confidence in Seagate, I needed this in an emergency, it installed easy and worked great!

Easy to install but surprised store doesn't carry cables and hardware for the installation process.

I read the reviews of the 4TB Seagate ATA drive and thought it would be a good one to replace the 2TB one that was going bad in my desktop. It slid into the slot just fine, formatted well and now runs great after restoring all the data that I had on the original. It took some doing to get Windows 10 installed (my inexperience with a new drive), but now the computer runs faster, and with no Windows errors. Longevity still is to be demonstrated, but first impressions are great. A word of caution... If you're NOT replacing a drive, but are ADDING a drive, you'll need a SATA cable of the correct length for your computer - one is not supplied. What I did was to replace the original, then formatted the failing 2TB drive and put it in a spare slot for photos and videos that I just wanted to hold for a while while I was working on them on the main drive. That way, if the drive totally fails, I haven't lost anything. But the 4TB Seagate is just humming along.

This drive works as expected. It is a standard desktop drive, with plenty of storage space.

I have usually gone with WD in the past but the capacity and price in this one was hard to beat so giving Seagate a try. After a cuople of weeks, I have not had any issues.

I have a Dell XPS 8300 Desktop PC with an internal 2 Terabyte Hard Drive running Windows 7 Home Premium with an Intel i7 chip and was running out of room (I'm a mountain climber/hiker and takes tons of pictures on my trips), so I had Best Buy install and format this 4 Terabyte secondary internal Hard Drive. It has been two-weeks now and it is running perfectly and I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

Used it to replace my hard drive in my Playstation 4 now I have plenty of space.

As far as internal Harddrives go....Seagate is the best out there. Never had any issues and it's very easy to install. 5 mins and i was up and running.Highly recommended...I can't speak for everyone but this is based on my experience.

This is a very good drive. I used it to replace a smaller and speedier drive and I did not see any performance degradation. It is also much more quiet.
