This Seagate backup drive that I have attached to my iMac using Time Machine, is very reliable, fast. Set up is easy. Love the two USB ports for charging other products.

Much needed storage for all my music and work files.

Great external desktop hard drive with lots of space

This is a great archiving / storage HD with the convenience of 2 USB3 ports on the front. I like the convenience of connecting portable external HD's to the front. So far it has worked as designed with no problems.

Never used a hard drive that was a back-up unit. Really like the way this one is set up. Has two very useful USB ports on the front. Definitely lots of room with 4 TB that even I have a small problem filling up.

So far it's working great. I love the extra USB plugs on the front, it makes connecting other devices to my iMac exceptionally easy (since all the USB ports are on the back). I'd buy this again in a heart beat.

This Seagate backup was dope easy to set up. And it works superbly with both my Mac and my PC array of systems (Surface with Win 10, PC with Home 7, etc.). I have so much room I don't even archive my files.

I bought this to replace another external that is on a dedicated server now. This transitions well between Mac and PC, as I am running bootcamp on my Mac. Also, it back ups my phone nicely through the app.

Another great Seagate HD to add to my collection. Easy to set up. Love the extra USB ports on the front of the drive. Makes it easy to connect your device and download.

Especially if you get this on sale, this is a great Hard drive. Huge, quiet, and i like that it has the white status on the front so you know it's on. I never hear it. So far its been smooth sailing!

Setup was easy and worked with Time Machine as soon as I enabled Time Machine on my MacBook with Retina Display. The drive is quite and can hardly hear it running when backing up my Mac.

This thing is a beast, definitely worth a buy and Best Buy priced matched this item for me so I received it for an extremely low price and couldn't be happier with the product.

As a photographer I needed a large, reliable hard drive for additional backup. This unit had great ratings and it sure hasn't disappointed. Did really need the USB hub, but it's come in quite handy.

I purchased this drive to archive my photos and videos on my desk top. Works well. Pretty fast for a basic drive. Lots of room. I wish I would have picked up an extra one when it was on sale

There's not a lot to be said to compliment something like an external hard drive but this one does the trick reliably. The design is nice but, if you're like me, this is a bit of a "set it and forget it" device. Which, if it proves to be that way, means it's doing it's job. The addition of the USB ports in the unit proved to be helpful. Though, when trying to use with a USB flash drive as a Mac Time Machine destination, proved to be a bit flaky. Could be the flash drive's fault and not this unit, though.

Very easy to use and setup. Really like the fact that there are 2 USB ports on the front of the device. This allows you to connect through the drive like a normal port.

Drive operates at a high speed and found the built in hub is quicker than my primary USB 3 hub. I would prefer all connections at one end, but like the drive.

I habe used Segate drives for 25 years and this one is top. Great features and a good price. The unit is USB 3.0 so it is very fast. .
