    Great So Far!

I’ve been using this Shark vacuum everyday for the last week and so far I enjoy it. I love that it’s super lightweight, has a decent size debris area and decent suction. I think there are areas to improve, but overall not bad for a compact cordless vacuum. It’s super lightweight and easy to maneuver. It handles really well while turning and the LED light helps me see if I missed anything. I also really like the auto detection feature for how it transitions between carpet and hardwood floor. My other vacuums have buttons I have to switch (not an inconvenience), but I think it’s cool this can detect the surface. My house is 1600 sq. ft. and the debris bin fills quickly. I think you’ll have you really evaluate your needs if your home is bigger. You can vacuum in stages and always go back to the auto empty bin. It’s really quick for the shark to empty the debris, so you can always do a trip or two if needed. I found that I typically use the normal or eco mode to fully get the most out of the battery. Charging takes a little long, but that’s just my option. It’d be really cool if they can somehow provide two batteries and include a charging dock in the handle for the next generation of this model. Something random that I’m happy about is that this is so lightweight that I can safely control it while vacuuming my carpeted stairs. It can be potentially dangerous, but this makes stair vacuuming easy! Pros: 3 suction features: eco, normal and boost Multiple attachments Powerful Suction Auto-Empty System Self-Cleaning Brushroll HEPA Filtration Lightweight and Maneuverable Sensors for Multi-Floor Cleaning Easy to Empty Dust Bin Quiet LED Lights Good for stairs Cons: Battery life Charging time Small dust bin Overall I think there’re areas to improve, but so far it does a good job. I wish the dust bin was a little larger and charging didn’t take as long. This is perfect for an apartment, condo, or small home.

I have to admit, I’m torn on how many stars to give this vacuum. First off, it has great suction and really picks up the dirt. The automatic brush roll had no problem detecting when I went from carpet to hard floors which is important because part of my floor is LVT and brush rolls can be rough on that kind of tile. But it seems pretty gentle when it slows down so I’m not too worried. I like the auto empty feature and the fact that it doesn’t empty into a costly disposable bag. Battery life is great, I can do the whole house on one charge (1500 sq ft). It’s light in weight and if you drop off the brush roll head and add the included accessory brush, cobwebs don’t stand a chance. Easy to clean them up one handed. The whole vacuum and base doesn’t take up much space and it looks good. The dust bin is easy to empty straight into the trash if you don’t want to use the auto empty base. So we’re looking at five stars just based on all that. Where it comes apart is the length, or more appropriately, the lack of length. It’s too short for me. I’m 6’4” but I usually don’t have a problem with length on a vacuum. I have to bend over slightly to use this. My other stick vac is about 3” longer and it’s more comfortable. It has several LED lights but they don’t seem to throw much light. Not a deal breaker since I generally don’t vacuum in the dark anyway. The other thing is see is a lot of flex where the wand attaches to the suction head. It just feels flimsy there. Not so confident that this won’t be a problem down the road. So I’m thinking three stars here. If I average it out, I’m going to give this vacuum four stars with an asterisk to try before you buy if you’re taller?

Shark’s newest vacuum, the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless Stick Vacuum & Auto-Empty System, Self Cleaning Brushroll, HEPA Filtration is in my opinion a great budget stick vacuum with some features only available in more expensive vacuums. Lets start from the beginning, this particular stick vacuum comes with three attachments a duster crevice tool, a pet multi tool and the self cleaning brushroll. Also included is the auto empty charging dock and one battery. Let’s start with the auto empty charging dock, it’s basically a device where you can sit down your vacuum and it does two things. One it charges your vacuum and two, it empties out the vacuum, basically hands-free, you don’t get your hands dirty, and you don’t breathe the dust that always comes up when you try to empty a conventional vacuum into the garbage. The cordless stick vacuum cleaner itself is the real star here, lightweight and surprisingly powerful, with three power settings, I found this vacuum to be very capable of cleaning just about everything with its powerful suction, and when I say powerful, I really mean it. For size it’s quite a powerhouse.

I have been using the Shark Cordless Clean and Empty vacuum since the day I got it, and it quickly became my favorite. It is easy to put together and comes with 2 additional attachments that are very useful for vacuuming in tight areas and for brushing couches. The vacuum itself is lightweight, making it smooth to use around my 1000 sqft home. It also auto-adjusts to different floor types, doing an amazing job on both tile and carpet. Even on my large rug, which my previous vacuum struggled with, the Shark vacuum performs excellently and doesn't get stuck. There's a tiny inconvenience with the small dust bin, especially for larger homes since it needs to be emptied more often. Additionally, when I purposely let the dust bin fill up to test its suction power, I found that it struggled to remove the trash on its own, requiring manual intervention. To avoid this issue, I now let it auto-empty every time. Despite this minor inconvenience, I still believe it does a great job of picking up all debris. A great feature is that all parts and filters are washable, and the bottom trash bin doesn't need a bag, making it easy to take off and dump out. The self-cleaning brush is a huge plus for me, as I hate cleaning stuck-on hair. The battery holds up well, even when running the vacuum at the highest speed, although that can drain the battery quickly. Overall, I am very impressed with its performance.

Vacuuming at my house is a serious business. My house is a combination of hard floor and carpet areas and I have a couple of pets that shed tons of hair. In my quest to find the ideal vacuum cleaner, I currently own several types, from a Roomba style to a corded and two cordless cleaners. The Shark Cordless Clean & Empty Stick Vacuum is the newest and fifth member in my collection. Will it be the game changer I’ve been looking for? Assembly was simple and easy and it took less than an hour for the battery to fully charge. At first glance, the notable features of this product include its lightweight construction and sleek design; the handle housing the battery at the end looks futuristic. The machine fits snuggly on its base that also serves as a charging station. Using it is a breeze. The controls are neatly placed at the top and consist of an LED display for the battery level and cleaning modes and a pair buttons: one to turn it on or off and one to toggle between the cleaning modes. There are three modes: eco that saves energy, boost that prioritizes suction and auto that varies the power as it automatically adjusts to the floor type. The noise level is average for a vacuum cleaner, it gets louder on carpet in auto mode and when using the boost mode. It is very nimble and achieves quick turns in cramped spaces better than any stick vacuums I’ve owned, plus the lightweight helps even more. However, the best part is when I dock it to its base station, It whirrs to life, automatically emptying the dust cup into a dust container inside the base station that can be easily removed at the press of a button. Very handy especially since the dust cup is on the small side and quickly fills up with pet hair and dust. Another nice option is the quiet button on top of the base station that can be used in case you don’t want to empty the dust cup right away. Performance wise, the Shark Cordless Clean & Empty Stick Vacuum does a good job at cleaning. I always use the auto mode since I have a combination of carpets and hard floors. In auto mode, it switches seamlessly between surfaces and it’s noticeable by the noise level and the color coded light indicators for carpets and hard surfaces located on top of the floor nozzle. On both surfaces, I noticed that I have to do several passes until everything is picked up from the floor. Pet hair tends to stick to my carpets and it is the biggest challenge. With the floor nozzle, it took several slow passes to fully clean the area. I also tried the ‘pet multi-tool’ provided and it was more of a frustration than a solution. I have other vacuum cleaners that seem to have more suction power, but this one does the job in the end. One other minor issue I noticed is its tendency to come back to the stand-up position too easily while vacuuming; it might be due to its lightweight. I’ve only used it on floor surfaces and have yet to try above the floor with the crevice tool. I never had issues with the battery; it lasts with each use, even longer ones and since the cleaner is docked to its base station when I’m finished it immediately recharges, No complaints there. Overall, the Shark Cordless Clean & Empty Stick Vacuum is definitely worth considering for those looking for a good performing stick vacuum cleaner. Is it the game changer I’ve been looking for? No, but I truly like it for its impressive lightweight, great nimbleness and a battery that’s more than adequate. The self emptying and charging base station brings in some real magic and the modern looks certainly doesn’t hurt. I only wish it had a little bit more suction power to make it my favorite.

I never used a cordless vac before, but wanted to try it because I was so tired of running over the cords, plugging and re-plugging in all over the house! I will say, I think I made a great first choice. It automatically adjusts using the brush for carpet and a different suction for hard floors. What I love about the vacuum is the automatic emptying of the dirt/contents when hooked back onto the base. It sucks everything out perfectly and all you need to do is dump the bucket every so often. I did notice the filter gets dirty easily on the bucket, so I plan to clean this often. Adequate power and just LOVE not having any cords! Vacuuming goes so much quicker! I also love the fact that you can detach the top and use it like a "dust buster." I mainly use it as a vacuum, but it's nice to have that option if needed.

First having a cordless household floor duty vacuum, major change in having a corded one that has its dust and debris compartment along with it. This is lightweight and has a separate emptying bin. You’ll have to make some trips to and fro the auto empty system depending on your floor situation. We do have quite a lot to clean up on living and bedroom floors and the kitchen tile. The auto sensing roll brush I think it’s a good feature that changes speed sensing the different floor surfaces whether hard surface or carpet. However just at a few times there are times when the LED indicator was on blue from purple (I think switching to hard surface from carpet mode) for a brief moment and I may have had the handle nearly at a 90 vs maybe at say 120-140 degree angle. There’s different modes to choose whether eco mode or boost; my default is just the auto mode for now. It lasts 40 mins on battery and on a full charge on the vacuum interface- shows four bars.. so I’d assume 10 mins each bar. I would like to get spare batteries and maybe a standalone battery charger if they do have such an accessory in the near future, which can double the time when cleaning a big house. But great product and Shark doesn’t disappoint.

Best vacuum I have ever had. It has every feature I would ask for if I could build one from scratch: cordless, empties into dust bin automatically, changes suction automatically to go from wood to carpet, can be left on charger, lightweight, no cutting hair or strings from brush roll, easy to assemble. There is not one thing I don't like about this gem! I even got it on sale!

I recently purchased a Shark vacuum cleaner, and I have to say, I’m extremely impressed! It’s incredibly powerful yet lightweight, making it easy to maneuver around the house. The suction is strong, picking up even the tiniest dirt particles from carpets, hardwood floors, and tile. I also love the anti-hair wrap technology – no more struggling with tangled hair in the brushroll. Another standout feature is how simple it is to empty the dust bin. The design is convenient and hygienic, allowing me to dump the contents without making a mess or coming into contact with any dust. It’s clear that Shark has put a lot of thought into user-friendly features and efficiency. Overall, this vacuum has exceeded my expectations, making cleaning a breeze. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and effective cleaning solution!

I am totally AMAZED and DELIGHTED and I could go on and on and on. I have tried 6 yes 6 different vacuums in the last two years and NONE of them worked, I tried I robot, and 5 different brands and types. They either were too heavy, too cumbersome, tangled cords, did not clean, got stuck on a rug and just stopped working. I have back problems and just could not vacuum comfortably, or at all. I can not believe this baby does it all. no cord, light as a feather, moves with the twist of your wrist, cleans itself after every use. No sweat, No problems... I am in heaven. I am buying an extra one just incase. I am in love with this clean and empty light weight vaccine that does it all, bare floors and adjusts automatically to carpet., Also has handy hand tools for ceiling fans etc. I am in love with it and vacuum every day even if it doesn't need it. I just can't believe it. Thank you Shark. Thank you for making such a wonderful, terrific product. I will never use anything else. Oh I forgot,,, I use it for my car too. easy peasy. Why would anyone use anything else? I honestly do not know, but I know I never will. Think's again SHARK.... YES, YES, YES, !!!!!

I do love the convenience of this vacuum. As long as you are using the item as a regular vacuum it is great, although it doesn't work all that well with the attatchments. We only have carpet in 1 room and the stairs, but we have a couple of larger area rugs which it works good on but I would not reccomend it as the only vacuum if you have carpeting throughout the house.

This is a very excellent product. We normally use Dyson at my home, and I was helping my son shop for items he would need in his new apartment. This happened to be on a sale. My son did the choirs in the house and told me he was going for the Shark instead and rather use the money he is saving towards furniture. It has been close to a month and hasn't notice any differences. With so many advances in technology and companies manufacturing product with quality assurance. This product past the test.
