it has done an amazing job of being versatile and thoroughly cleaning the carpets let alone with suction power! It is lightweight and moves around easily with leads to much less weight for you to pull around and less strain on your spine. It comes with two attachments that are very useful. My only caveat with this machine is that it doesn't come with a fancy feature where when you press on the button, the cord automatically winds up inside the vacuum. But overall it's a great vacuum for my apartment!

A few years ago I bought a Dyson but I end up giving it away once I moved & didn't have carpet any more. When I bought my new home with over 1500sqft of carpet, I spent a couple of months trying to decide between spending so much on another Dyson or risk buying something cheaper and risk getting less quality. After ready over 200 reviews & gettting references from multiple associates, I chose this Shark. This vacuum is very lightweight, has excellent suction, & is very easy to empty & clean.

Overall, this vacuum works well. The suction is good, and it's effective on both carpet and bare floors. It comes with a good set of accessories, including a mini beater bar cleaner and a long, flat bar for cleaning under appliances. The vacuum part detaches from the base to make a light weight handheld portable that's handy for stairs or the car. It's a solid 4 1/4 stars. Here's what keeps if from being 5 stars: (1) it feels kind of flimsy. Nothing has broken yet, but it just doesn't feel really solid. (2) The dirt catcher bin is very small. You have to empty it after every use; in a larger house, you might have to empty it halfway through. (3) The latches on the dirt bin are fiddly; they don't latch as tightly as they should. So far, it's good for the price.

If you need your floors to actually be clean and not just look like it, buy a corded vacuum, specifically this one, especially at this price. This $150 vacuum knocks the $1000 Dyson out in first round, no kidding. Get the best but total membership and have the vacuum covered warranty wise, as well. Works phenomenal!!

I don't personally use the thing, but I can tell you that when my wife is using it I no longer hear the "discouraging words" that came from her precious lips when using our previous vacuum machine (and it was LOUD!). Light-weight, she is able to navigate and clean the staircase with ease. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a down-shedding cockatiel, and our carpets look GREAT lately. Since it is so light and easy to use, my wife uses if more often (no longer a burden to vacuum) and she has actually bragged to me and our neighbors how much she loves this machine.

The advantages of the Shark Navigator are as described in the name of the machine. It is light weight, narrow, bends low, and therefore can be used by a human being in a real world of rooms and stairs with carpets to be vacuumed. The lift away part is very practical where the whole machine need not be hauled up and around to clean objects that need no application of the beater brush. The attachments are small and handy for most purposes. The 'bagless' part is not so pleasant and never is. Why not use a bag and just neatly, cleanly, dump it and its contents? Rather than the dust and junk of emptying all the loose dirt, hair, and grossness out of the canister?

This sweeper is lightweight and easy to use. Picks up great. I just wish the hose and extensions were longer, it falls over a lot when I try to use extensions

I was having dyson before owing a shark. Changes I noticed after the new shark 1) My cleaner carpets 2) lighter in weight 3) size is perfect 4)cleaning is easy 5) hepa sealed filter 6) AFFordable I love my new SHARK ! this vacuum justifies its name.

I got this handy vacuum for my home that has three dogs in it. There is so much hair at times, it could knit a sweater. I needed a versitale, but in my price range, vacuum; this one is perfect for a pet owner. It has many attachments and I find that the attachments make sticky roller brushes a thing of the past. My floors, furniture, carpet, and bed are dirt and hair free. Plus it's light weight :)

Needed a replacement after our vacuum of 20 years died. Vacuums really well and very easy to manuever.. What i like most is the auto asjuatment for brush level (our old one had a manual knob to lower or raise the brish level). It’s fairly ligjt to carry around and stores nearly into our closet. The one thing is the canister fills up pretty quickly so we have to frequently empty it. However, that’s easy to do. Overall, a good buy and i see us getting some good usage out of it.

I've been pleased with every SHARK product I've ever owned. The Shark NV360 is a great lift-away bagless vacuum for the price. I particularly like the fact that the filter is washable, and there is no HEPA filter to replace. Most people have commented on how great the suction is. Like others, I was amazed at how much extra dirt this vacuum pulled out of the carpet. I like the way it "steers". The majority of the vacuum is made of plastic material, but it seems durable. Unlike some models, it does not have headlights. It does a very good job of picking up dog hair on my carpet. The only feature I don't particularly like is the air-powered hand brush. It works, but it slows down a lot when you're vacuuming dense carpet. I also have a Shark Rocket HV292 hand vacuum that has a powered brush, and I prefer it for stairs and furniture. If you're considering a new vacuum, first decide if you want an upright or canister. Then decide if you want a lift away. You should buy a model that has all the features you will need.

This vacuum is light weight, and even swivels, like a Dyson, while you're vacuuming! The hose extends to a decent length, even though I would prefer it to have a little longer reach. It picks up well on bare floors without blowing everything around. It's surprisingly powerful, and sucks up dirt and pet hair with ease. And it is very convenient to see inside the reservoir, and dump it when its full. We primarily use it on the couch and area rug, it suits us just fine!

Wife getting tired of clogged vacuums, her Kirby is loud and uses s bag ( almost as useful as 8 track tapes ), and it's heavy. Saw this offer at a fair price, bought it after watching some videos on it. What can I say, Home run boys!!! The suction is strong, you can literally feel it pulling on the carpet, easy to handle swivel makes for easy tight fits. Lightweight, detaches to just a canister and hose, not loud, and I could just keep bragging this bad boy up, but why?, Go buy one yourself, and you start bragging.

This vacuum is great for our large two story house with both carpet, tile and hardwood floors to clean. Nothing is to small or heavy for it to pick up. It is very easy to clean also. No bags or mess to worry about. It is perfect for our needs. We use it all the time because it is so comfortable to handle which means an extra clean house! Very fairly priced too.

I did my research on the best vacuum for my home and this one was the one that was recommended for houses with pets. It works wonderfully and is very easy to use.

Super great suction..picked up so much dirt/cat hair in my rugs that my other one couldn’t. Not heavy and super easy to put together. Love Shark products

we've had a number of vacuums over the years, but none, I repeat none of the others have come close to the Shark. this is THE best vacuum we have ever owned. get one today. you won't be disappointed. it's light, easy to empty and does a great job. it's not quite as wide as the others we've had, but the ease of moving this makes it seem like you're doing half the work.
