Nice little machine does not take up much space. I was pleasantly surprised that it could accommodate a 13 inch microwaveable vegetable dish on the turntable which I used to use in my much larger over the counter machine. The pre-programmed function buttons meet my needs and usually cooked properly. I am glad I was able to find it in white as I am not a fan of the look of stainless steel appliances. White is easy to keep clean. I have always been pleased with Sharp products and so far this unit keeps me feeling that way.

This is the perfect "Workhorse" everyday countertop microwave. Nothing fancy or frivolous options, just an awesome and for me, necessary Kitchen tool.

Very happy with this microwave. The inside is gray so makes it a little more difficult to see splatters. Need to read the instruction book on how to turn off the child lock.

Had to get a new microwave, have used my old one for years a lot of years and it was a Sharp, so it has to be another Sharp, love this brand, would definitely recommend!!

First month interior light went out, 2nd month the display went out

My microwave died before the month I bought it. I need to call Best buy for a refund.

My last Sharp microwave was retired at 31 years, still working, so buying another Sharp was a no-brainer. Surprisingly 10% more power cuts some of the heating time by up to a third. And it's quiet! Pay no attention to the people who can't or won't read. It's easy to disable the child lock function and those directions are in three different places. Simply press 7, 9 and then hold 0 for three seconds. Voila, no child lock and it stays that way through a power outage. Pros: quiet, powerful for size; push-button door; interior light on when cooking or door open; text on display buttons easy to see. Cons: (minor quibbles) display light is blindingly bright and illuminates my kitchen at night. Interior light is very dim. I realize that any appliance lasting three decades is an outlier but if I get a quarter of that I'll be happy.

I was happy to find this purchase not only on sale (at the time) but in whte which I wanted. I purchased this online without ever actually seeing it in person. I am comparing it to my previous Sharpe microwave and it is a bit lighter which makes it move when I try to open the door at times. There is a child lock which is taking some getting used to. It is very dark inside as the interior is not white as I am accustomed to having but gray. This bothers me a little and the lighting is very dim inside. As far as actually cooking and heating up beverages it works fine and I have been able to figure out most of what I need without reading all of the manual. I gave it only four starts because it is hard to see inside and moves around on my microwave wood cabinet. I know for many the child lock will be a great feature but as a senior who has no young children around it can be sort of a pain. With all that said I would buy it again.

I opted for this one over the 900 watt toy microwaves. They just don't have enough power. This thing is very powerful and looks good!

So far so good! I like the look of the microwave which is sleek and bold in white and black. I have visual disabilities but am able to read the labels. The size for a dinner plate is fine. The food has been heating up perfectly. I do wish it was white inside instead of gray but the light is good enough to still be able to see. I was able to disarm the automatic lock for kids since I don’t have kids here. That was easy to do. I have a small kitchen and this was able to fit on my stand. I have only had this a short time but so far it is what I hoped for!

I really like the Sharp Countertop Microwave as I old one was also a Sharp. I also like this microwave because it fits perfectly in the space the original one was located.

We had a Sharp microwave that a friend gave us. It was an old one, probably one of the first to come out. We wore it out over the years. This one is a little difficult to understand at first, especially if your elderly. Once you do, you'll be glad you bought it. It's great. You can't beat Sharp products!
