I thought the Sideclick was a good idea when reading about it. I have a Logitech Elite universal remote which made its additional options redundant. Also I have small hands and short fingers. The Roku remote was easy to handle, not so much with the Sideclick attached.

I'm such a huge fan of these Sideclicks. I have a sound bar that only works through optical audio, so the Roku remote will not adjust the sound bars volume. This is where the sound click comes in handy. Plus I can program 2 buttons to do whatever I want with the learn function. It uses 2 AAA batteries and they last forever. The only downside is as Roku changes their remotes each year, Sideclick has to release new attachments to fit the remotes. And since you can't buy the attachments separately, if you upgrade your Roku you'll have to buy a whole new Sideclick to go with it.

Product was easy to use and setup. Exactly what I've been looking so I can ditch the second remote. Thanks Best Buy!

The adapter has some nice features however the remote becomes somewhat difficult to handle.

No bells and whistles but great basic functions so I only need to keep up with one remote.

This device let's you use one remote to control your TV and Roku. No more keeping up with two remotes. Learning function works well and there are two extra buttons to let you program things like mute or sleep timer. Great purchase!

My husband purchased this to make the basic Roku remote more functional. We liked it enough to purchase one for both TVs. It adds short-cut buttons for power, volume, and changing the source (i.e. HDMI, DVD, Roku). The only inconvenience for me is that the buttons are not intuitive. Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to remember how to mute, for instance. Otherwise, great product.

I am quite happy with the sideclick attachment for Roku. I will likely be picking up a few more. This is the perfect device to turn your Roku remote into a universal remote. It is easy to program, and has fit right into our routine. I have programmed it to control three different devices. We have a television in our sunroom that shares a DirecTV receiver with our Kitchen television. The Sunroom TV power, volume, and input is controlled with the Sideclick. I also have one button on the Sideclick programmed to turn the television in the kitchen on/off when it is not needed. Finally, the Sideclick controls the channel on the DirecTV receiver.

This thing works great and fills a need that otherwise made using the Roku remote difficult.

Great add on for cord cutters. If you stream everything this reduces the clutter of remotes.

I like the product. Pretty easy to program and does exactly what I needed.

I was sitting in my den setting up the sidekick for my bedroom TV, It took the On-Off quickly and easily. I then programmed the +- Vol and the channel change for when I need to use the antenna input. NO GO! Was a little frustrated. The unit responded like it was programming properly, but when I tried it, it didn't work. Gave up for the time being. A couple of days later, while I was in the bedroom with the TV, I tried again to program the Vol and Channel inputs. Had to do each one several times, but it finally took. Not sure what I was doing wrong, but now they work perfectly. So if you bought one of these and had problems programming it, have patience and take your time, it most likely will work! Really happy with it now.

I have bought two of these for Samsung TV in the bedroom, and LG TV in the living room. Cool concept, nice execution. Roku Ultra actually let you program the remote with power, volume and mute functions but since I am using the home theater system, I had to use different remote control. One less remote controls on the coffee table/side table! Be aware: it does not work with LG TV (LG's using different RF signal? who knows...) I wasn't able to program it with the LG TV, but with Samsung TV pairing was easy. Also I had them programmed with the Sony receivers. also Mounting covers the headphone jack on the Roku Ultra remote which i don't use at all.

This add-on remote works great to control my Insignia Soundbar. The set up is pretty easy. It took my two times then it connected. It comes with a lot of attachments so you can find the best fit for your exact remote.

Easy to program. I was even able to program the input button by using the A button

Been juggling multiple remotes for one tv, since adding the Roku box. This is a great/affordable solution that doesn't add another bulky remote. Super easy to program and use!
