It's almost as if the music is further away from where I am. I have had other skull candy headphones that do not sound this way. And when I use them for talking on my cell phone (they have a mic on them) I have to take one ear out because they make me sound so loud to myself. It's exactly as if I plugged both ears with my fingers and started talking. I'm not sure how to decipher which Skull Candy earphones would do this and which would not. I'll take my chances, I guess.

Great Headphones and Headset

My Bluetooth headset isn't super reliable and needs charging constantly. I use this when someone complains they can't hear me well, for a long call or when my headset looses power. The voice clarity is excellent. Of course the headphones aspect is awesome.

Excellent earbuds

These ones have a microphone and play/pause button too. My cashier at Best Buy helped me save a $1.70 off the sale price by price matching with Target, so I got a good deal. Not recommended for serious running, otherwise great!
